An Iranian-born businessman named Hadi Pourmohseni showed his displeasure with the automaker by setting his BMW 7 Series on fire outside of BMW’s headquarters near Olympiapark in Munich,and stood with a sign that says “BMW Kundenbetrug Kundenerpressung Prozessbetrug Schaemt Euch!” which translates to “BMW customer deceit customer blackmail process fraud.”

He’s doing this because the car he leased in Italy nine years ago,a 2008 BMW M6 allegedly had significant rattles and transmission shifting issues, and BMW’s dealers supposedly dismissed his concerns.

He was so disappointed with the quality of his leased 2008 BMW M6 and with the dealer’s service that he decided to ruin the BMW M6 with a sledgehammer and axe outside the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013.

BMW agreed to look at the problem as long as the 2008 BMW M6 was returned to original condition.

Pourmohseni complied and restored the $160,000 luxury sports sedan he had sledgehammered/axed the year prior to its original condition,only so he could smash it with a sledgehammer again outside of the Geneva Motor Show in 2014
Then in 2015,he set a BMW Z3 on fire.

Now he’s supposed to give the car back to the manufacturer,and he’s not happy about it, telling“A joke! Even if I don’t drive it anymore, don’t take my evidence away!”

So,to once again show his displeasure with the Bavarian automaker,he set a BMW 7 Series ablaze outside of BMW’s headquarters.

The fire department had to show up to quench the blaze,and police ended up tossing Pourmohseni to the ground and handcuffing him.The police said that they can't charge Pourmohseni for setting fire to his own car,but are looking into charging the man with violating environmental regulations.

But that’s apparently not going to stop Pourmohseni’s antics in the future, as he said “I will continue.”

Fortunately,Pourmohseni has stopped driving BMWs and is now piloting a Mercedes Benz S350.

Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko has been involved in a car crash on his way home from the club's Cobham training ground.
Bakayoko is understood not to have suffered any serious injury after the incident which has been described as minor.
He was driving his £150,000 Mercedes G63 AMG SUV when the crash happened on Blundel Lane, which is a five-minute drive from Chelsea's training complex in Surrey.

The 23-year-old's brother, Namory, had previously raised concerns over Tiemoue driving in England, claiming that he doesn't like driving on the left side of the road.

'Tiemoue told me he wasn't allowing himself to drive because he thinks it's too crazy driving on the left! But he'll get round to it,' he said.
In a statement, Surrey Police confirmed the incident. 'Surrey Police attended Blundel Lane in Oxshot around 4.40pm following a one vehicle collision,' a spokesperson said.

The driver did not suffer any injuries. There were delays for drivers while the vehicle awaited recovery.'
The player, who joined the Blues in the summer for £40million from Monaco, is expected to be well enough for Saturday's fixture against Stoke.

Bakayoko has already impressed Chelsea manager Antonio Conte.
He was given his first start for the Premier League champions against Nottingham Forest in the third round of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night.

Truck and SUV manufacturers just love to show off their vehicles towing capacities in unusual ways.
In 2012, a Toyota Tundra hauled the Space Shuttle Endeavour across the Manchester Bridge in Los Angeles.
A few months ago,Porsche set a Guinness record by towing double-decker Airbus A380 42 meters using a Cayenne S Diesel.

Now Land Rover's newest Discovery gets a turn at towing greatness,in this case towing a 121tons Australian road train,which is a semi truck with multiple trailers.

This road train is seven trailers,plus the semi-truck and some ballast.
The total weight of 242,000 pounds is about 31 times the 7,716-pound towing capacity of the diesel Discovery.
Also interesting to note is that the diesel Discovery has a slightly lower maximum towing capacity than the petrol-powered version,which is rated up to 8,201 pounds.

As you can see in the video above,the Land Rover managed to move the huge line of trailers 10 miles and hit a top speed of 27 mph.This stunt was done with the diesel Discovery,which uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 making 254 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque.
So Land Rover’s point is that the Discovery are built to do the extremes.

Even with the marketing hype,I can say I’m honestly impressed.

The Airbus A300-600ST(ST stands for Super Transporter),better known as the Beluga,is one of the strangest-looking yet important planes ever created.

The Beluga,featuring one of the most voluminous cargo hold of any aircraft,civil or military,offers a unique method for transporting oversized air cargo.

Beluga was designed as a heavy cargo aircraft to ferry parts of Airbus planes to various assembly lines around the world. Beluga is capable of carrying wings of an A340 airliner,the fuselage of its newest widebody A350 and complete sections of aircraft.

The Beluga which gets its name because of its resemblance to the white Arctic whale made its maiden flight from Toulouse,France in September 1994.Since then,the number of flight hours per aircraft has increased to over 10,000 flight hours.This increase comes as a result of the success of Airbus.

In addition to the first aircraft,four more Belugas were constructed at a rate of roughly one per year-from start to finish,each airframe reportedly took roughly three years to complete.

Today,more than 60 flights are performed each week carrying complete sections of aircraft,produced at various sites around Europe,including wings produced at Broughton to the final assembly lines in Toulouse,Hamburg and Seville.

The Five Belugas currently in operation are Airbus A300-600 jets that have been modified to carry large cargo.
They share many design similarities,although substantially differing in appearance.
The wings,engines,landing gear,and the lower part of the fuselage remain identical to those used on the conventional A300,while the upper part of the fuselage forms an enormous horseshoe-shaped structure 7.7 m (25 ft) in diameter.

Its cockpit was lowered,making it possible for the cargo hold to be loaded and unloaded through the front of the aircraft.

The result is an incredibly spacious cargo hold of 1,400 cubic metres, equivalent to 671 people,36 cars or seven elephants.

In comparison with the Super Guppy,the payload was more than doubled and the volume increased by more than 30 per cent.

Beluga can carry the wings of an A340 airliner or a fuselage section for Airbus’ newest wide-body aircraft,the A350 but it’s not large enough to transport many A380 super jumbo parts.Those need to travel by boat,barge and road.

To support production rate increases,Airbus is expanding its existing A300-600ST fleet with the development and production of five new Beluga aircraft (Beluga XL) which will be based on the Airbus A330 derived from the company’s versatile A330 widebody product line.

Engine oil consumption is a problem nobody wants. Most new engines today use less than half a quart of oil in 3,000 to 5,000 miles.But as the miles accumulate,wear and oil consumption naturally go up.

An engine that burns oil will usually foul the spark plugs. That,in turn will cause ignition misfire,higher emissions and likely damage the catalytic converter. Also,an engine that is burning oil usually won't pass an emissions test because of elevated hydrocarbon (HC) emissions.

High oil consumption due to burning will also shorten the service life of the oxygen sensors and catalytic converter, even with today's low zinc-phosphorus motor oils.Phosphorus will contaminate these parts and cause the O2 sensors and/or converter to fail

If an engine is using oil because of leaks (valve cover gaskets, oil pan gasket, crankshaft end seals,etc.), the problem can be fixed by simply replacing the leaky gaskets. But if the oil consumption is internal, major engine repairs may be required to fix the problem.

Below are some of the reasons for Engine Oil Consumption

1)Engine design:  Some engines consume oil by design. From day 1. The consumption can be as high as 1 liter per 1000 kms (cca. 1.7 quarts per mile).This depends on the make and model of the engine.

2)Driving style: RPM affects oil consumption.The higher your usual RPM is the more oil will be consumed. That’s because you put extra pressure on the seals and gaskets and some of the oil finds its way around and gets burned away in the combustion chamber.

3)Seal and gasket condition:
The more worn they are the more oil will be consumed. What happens is that the oil finds its way around the seals and it gets burned away in the combustion chamber or it simply leaks out.

4)Higher-than-normal engine temperature: The hotter your engine runs the thinner your oil will be. Once again it will be simpler for a thin oil to reach the combustion chamber and get mixed and burned with the fuel.

5)Too-low viscosity motor oil: If you use an oil with a viscosity below the recommended by the engine manufacturer than you will experience oil consumption.By viscosity I do not mean SAE viscosity only. The HTHS(High Temperature High Shear)viscosity also counts.

6)Low quality motor oil with high volatility:
If the oil’s volatility is very high than it could be noticeable in the oil consumption rate.

There are also numerous other reasons including but not limited to high oil level,the damage or clogging of different engine parts, Worn or broken piston rings,worn or damaged camshaft bearings,worn or damaged connecting rod bearings,clogged "PCV" valve and the fuel contamination of the oil.

Electric and hybrid vehicles drive the wheels with an electric motor or multiple motors. When you start to coast,each motor instantly becomes an electrical generator,working to capture the car’s kinetic energy.Operating as generators,they both create a drag on the wheels they're attached to and start producing electricity.

As soon as you depress the brake pedal,the generator is told to increase its power generation,which in turn causes even more resistance,slowing the car.
The electricity generated flows back to the battery pack,where it’s available to help accelerate the vehicle,or power its systems.

When you press the accelerator,the battery provides electricity to turn the motor,which turns the wheels.
When you take your foot off the gas,or apply the brakes,this process goes into reverse.

It's that time of year again, when the football gaming world goes into meltdown over the grand release of the new FIFA ratings.

EA Sports have release their official player ratings for FIFA 18, the latest instalment of their all-pervading franchise.

It comes as little surprise to see the two twin behemoths, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, at the very top of the list, though it's the Real Madrid man who tops the whole thing outright with a whopping overall ranking of 94.

Anthony Joshua would back Cristiano Ronaldo in a fight against Lionel Messi because of the Real Madrid superstar's superior physical condition.

Ronaldo and Messi have been rivals at the pinnacle of the footballing world for the best part of a decade - sharing the last nine Ballon d'Or awards between them. 

But while Barcelona's Messi leads the way in that department, winning five to Ronaldo's four, Joshua believes the Portuguese would have the edge in the boxing ring.

Joshua told YouTube channel COPA90: 'Messi's got that ruggedness but Ronaldo looks like he's got the Bruce Lee - bang!

'You know what I mean, just stand there and lick you with one hook and you're finished. Messi seems a bit more like his name... messy and rugged.' 

World heavyweight champion Joshua also spoke of his appreciation for Ronaldo's professionalism, revealing that he was inspired by the Real Madrid man's work ethic and how he has marketed himself.

'I've been pro now for three years, and I think early on I was trying to do everything because with boxing I come into the game as a professional,' Joshua added. 

Remember I haven't had much background, so I had to present myself to the world - so for the first three years I was managing, managing, marketing and marketing.

'But now I'm at a stage where I've just said I've done that, now I want to focus on being the best boxer then I get the inspiration from Ronaldo.

'It's just little things. He would train by himself afterwards to work on what he wanted to work on.

'I was speaking to [Ronaldo's former Manchester United team-mate Rio] Ferdinand who said he was the only one in the team back then who had masseuses, nutritionists, psychologists, so he had that desire.'

Joshua also revealed that the one footballer he'd like to go up against in the ring would be Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure. 

When pressed for an answer, Joshua explained he would choose to take on the Ivorian powerhouse because 'he's a bit of a beast'. 

Joshua will face Bulgarian fighter Kubrat Pulev on October 28 in Cardiff with his unified IBF, WBA and IBO heavyweight titles on the line.

While Messi retains the edge in terms of Ballon d'Or triumphs,Ronaldo claimed the 2016 award and looks certain to repeat in 2017 after Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga last season.

4)Engine Maintenance
The rear body panel must be removed when engine maintenance is required.
After that,the McLaren mechanic has to wear a full-grounded suit,anti-shock gloves,and a defibrillator must be on hand before touching the engine.If not handled with care,the mechanic can get a 600 Volts shock from the stored energy in the hybrid system.

5)Race Active Chassis Control
The Race Active Chassic Control(Race mode) is a unique mode,which lowers the 903 bhp monster's hydraulic suspension to the ground up to 50 mm and increases the spring stiffness by 300 per cent. It also raises the rear wing at a 29 degree angle to produce 600 kg of down force preventing lift off.

6)IPAS Battery Boost

The electric car maker has provided vehicles in Florida with a temporary software update before the arrival of Hurricane "Irma" to increase their range.


Tesla increased the battery capacity of some Tesla models from 60 kWh to 75 kWh.
This is possible because Tesla sold its models S and X also in a 60 kWh version and thereby throttled the capacity of the 75 kWH battery by software.Owners of such vehicles should be able to buy the higher capacity as needed.

Because the hurricane Irma is heading to Florida,the additional 15 kWh were released with a temporary update.The upgrade increases the range of affected vehicles by up to 50 kilometers.

The performance increase had already occurred to some Tesla owners in Florida.
However,it is only temporary as the affected vehicles will be reduced to 60 kWh again with a new update on 16 September,2017.
