Never planned to pay back, as long as he was in control of First Bank. His removal from the bank changed the plans

Hope you remember that FBN Capital was the underwriter of the IPO of Honeywell at an inflated price of N7.50 about 15 years ago.
As the underwriter the IPO was not successful but FBN Capital had to pay and warehoused the shares for ages
Those fraudulent IPOs.
Bad memories. grin grin

FlourMills, Zenith, Nestle and GTB kept some of us in the Market.

Buying from Oba keh, there is a lien on his First Bank shares, Honeywell shares, Airtel shares and his hotel. The proceeds of the liquidation of the Investments will go to First Bank

First Bank is not in the business of managing a Flour Mill business, so CBN invited FMN into the equation. I think CBN will make the deal to succeed. Emefiele and Zenith Bank have been doing business with FMN for the past 30 years. There is a Zenith bank branch at their Eric Moore factory sef.

Otudeko is indebted to First Bank, Honeywell Flour Mills is also indebted to First Bank and both of them ie Otudeko and Honeywell have been struggling to liquidate the debt for ages.

Oba's personal indebtedness to First Bank is over N70 billion
Big men and debts.
What was he thinking?

Hello house!
I'm a novice to these stocks of a thing, but my father bought shares in some companies many years ago.
He called me on phone and gave me a particular code number and he says that with that code, all his shares in the various companies can be checked.
Pls I really don't know how to go about the process of using this code and I'd like someone to put me through on what is what with his stock and shares.
Maybe a stockbroker or something like that.
Thanks house.
That code might be his "CSCS NUMBER".

If you contact the CSCS, they will provide every information about his shares.

But you can't do anything ( trade) with the share until he transfers them to you.

PENCOM act is clear about it. Seye Kosoko the company secretary of First Bank is the one that included those shares as part of Odukale indirect shareholdings.

NGX actually queried First Bank concerning this, which they responded to. I guess NGX had to ask PENCOM for clarifications.

Stanbic IBTC Pension Manager is the biggest in the industry controlling 25% of pension fund, the promoters of the company have never appropriated shares bought by the pension fund manager as part of their indirect shareholdings
Wow, I see why they removed FBNH from FBN Registers.

Thanks.

Funds in the retirement savings account of workers was used to buy the shares so it belongs to the workers.

Leadway Pensure is a company, if the company used part of its profit to buy FBNH shares then Odukale can appropriate such shares as part of his indirect holdings
Well, PENCOM said Odukale can't appropriate those share to himself.

I thought Leadway Profits, should be separated from Pension funds.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by OBAGADAFFI: 6:16pm On Nov 20, 2021
PENCOM said investment by Leadway Pensure Ltd in FBNH don't belong to Odukale.

So who owns the Leadway Pensure Ltd shares in FBNH.

You also need to consider the outstanding shares of both companies. MTN has a little over 20 billion shares, while Airtel Africa has 2 billion shares
Interesting,

MTN has a little over 20 billion shares shocked

It seems Airtel has more institutional investors than MTN.

Seems some other positive forces are moving MTNN.........
I hope some analysts are not mis-interpreting this share repositioning...........besides, AIRTEL is giving huge gap, MTN will have to be dragging along small small.
MTN shares will be sold through a book-building process to institutional investors, and after which, a fixed price will be announced to retail investors.

There will be uncertainty on MTN shares for now.

Lol. Na my opinion. grin

WAPCO .....hinching up steadily.........
Pulled back some days ago.......reversed up @25.50.......now sighted @26.50.....

AIRTEL and MTNN.........both got approval in principle to operate a service bank........whatever that means must be a plus for both stocks I think....
Both stocks won't react the same way.

MTN is planning shares repositioning circa N200, while Airtel is selling @N900.

MTN might be GOLD, but with the recent 575 million ordinary shares offers, the price might fall in the short term.

The offer price might be below the Current Price.

Can someone explain what is meant here.
Since MTN shares are already listed on the NSE, is there any need for this

MTN Group Limited has announced plans to offer for sale, the shares of its Nigerian subsidiary, MTN Nigeria Communications Plc.

The Group has disclosed its intention to proceed with a public offer for sale of 575 million shares in MTN Nigeria.
