Bonus script announcement is driving the share price up.....
12:9 --- 12 new bonus for every 9 shares held.

I think the price has gone a bit up now though.

Shareholders of AIICO Insurance had, in 2019, approved the issuance of a total of 5,098,591,860 ordinary shares of 50 kobo each by way of a bonus issue to shareholders.
Unfortunately, this was rejected by the regulator, SEC, citing changes in qualification dates.
The Company has therefore proposed a fresh issue of shares of 12 for 9 on the 31 Dec 2020 FS.

Details are in the link below:

2019, 2020 bonuses are still pending and now they are declaring another bonus.

The company does not respect minority shareholders.
SEC and NSE should be blamed for not sanctioning AIICO.

AIICO has come again with their "ojoroo"

Only JJC in the market will fall for this action this time around.

AIICO board should STOP playing candy crush with shareholders' psychology.
What happened to the previous bonuses.

Otedola is said by the publication to own 5.03% of fbnh outstanding shares

However, new publication indicates that the current chairman of the bank owns 5.37% of the bank's outstanding shares.

Additional shares allocations are in the pipeline

Unlike CSCS that has investments in bonds, got about 3 billion coupon from their Investments in bonds last year.

NGX was managed like civil service in the past, I hope this will end with the list of the companies. The surpluses were shared by management, council members and workers.

It was a not for profit organization in the past

NGX will get to N25 and above because of the current euphoria, after that it will crash before it will start growing.

Otedollar going for FBNH is one. Strong rumour also has it that;

They are willing to sell off a minority stake in FirstMonie.

The valuation for FirstMonie i hear is Unicorn - $1.3bn dollars.

And there is a deal on the table to take 20 percent stake.
Is FirstMonie not a 100% subsidiary of FBHN?

Why are they selling if it is making so much ?

Please I need clarification.

Somebody bought the shares at N16 per share when it is trading at N10 per share?
It was NEGOTIATED CROSS DEAL.

Mr. Market doesn't have a say here, no order matching need.

Purely between Seller and Buyer.

Royal Exchange General Insurance Company (“REGIC”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a minority stake in the company by AfricInvest, a leading Pan-African asset management company. The investment was made through its evergreen private equity fund, FIVE, in the form of a subscription to a capital increase.

-Illiquid stock.

-No volume supplier

-No 100k block units to change the price.

-Keep on appearing stagnant day by day.

-Full bid without price change

-Tomorrow, it will be on full bid and close at previous price.

-You can move it bro.......
talk2me2:
Good evening House, it's been a while. How are you fearing?

Talking about UPL though I am not their shareholder, for about a month now I have been observing the price movement and I am suspecting that it is being manipulated. How can a stock be on full bid with about 1 million shares bid at 10% above the previous closing price, and the stock still close 10% lower than the previous closing price without filling those bids that are at 10% higher than the opening price that remained there until the market closing time? Or is there a new rule on ngx that permit such that I don't know about?
The picture is getting clear, I suspect manipulation going on.
Thank you

If the financial report is cooked Mr. Market will punish them.

Transcorp, Oando, Cadbury e.t.c have received their punishments for cooking books.

There is no big deal it's normal once a company meet the listing requirements it can be listed even if it's a subsidiary of another company and particularly if the management can see some advantages available to them if such action is taken.

Ok thks.
Its possible.......they might have learnt from past experience OR the particular Coy did the right thing by informing and carrying brokers along in each stage of the process OR the broker is on top of her game.
After SEC approval, Registrars send information to the CSCS .

CSCS is the backend for all the Brokers.

It will sail thru.......since the trading portfolio still carries old quantities.........in my opinion.
Some Nsempas did similar trade sometimes ago in one insurance stock that gave bonus issue.......can't remember which one now.
You may be right anyway.........but remember, we sometimes call our broker's attention to any bonus added to our CSCS,for them to update our trading portfolio.
Maybe it depends on the broker's portal.

I remember certain trade wasn't executed until my Brocker told me the Quantity on the CSCS is lower than my Portfolio quantity.

I can only trade what I have on CSCS.

Mansard
If your broker is yet to adjust your portfolio with the right re-constructed quantities, don't go and do magomago by selling ooo......You'll still vomit it. cheesy

Don't do Charles Chaplin for NSE or your broker.....your name, quantity purchased and date dey on record. grin
Just be calm and give it enough time. Mansard should come around.

BTW, it seems everyone on this thread is now on holiday. grin
It's well.
The trade won't be executed, since the adjustment has been done at CSCS.
