Ok, I got it now.
That shows that instead of paying their shareholders dividend this year, the dividend will go to Diamond bank shareholders.

I use to have interest in Access bank, but since they enter this deal with Diamond bank, I started having apathy in both company.
1. If the deal failed at 11 hours, the way election failed to hold at 11th hours, Diamond bank will be at the receiving end.
2. If they succeeded, as it has high percentage of succeeding, access bank will suffer it, because it will take them at least 2 years to balance up after the payment.
In Nigeria everything is possible, I wish those in the bus well.

Access bank #6.40 x 2 + #1 = #13.8

This show that currently Diamond bank is higher than access, meaning that when converting to Access bank, at current price, the holder of Diamond bank will be losing #17.01 - #13.8 = #3.21

Or am I mistaking something?

Maybe you missed it the first time, i will say it again, nobody is asking them to leave. Observe, monitor elections... Give your report afterwards and go. That's all Elections observers do. They are not to dictate.

I am out of stock trade for now. I lost a huge amount of money after hearing bonaza gospel. I sold at lost even though I bought very high last yr February. I held all my stocks until I started hearing bonaza. I wanted to play safe and smart, but I missed it. I have learnt my lesson in a hard way. I need to recover before delving into stock trading again.Thanks for your recommendation.

Go and mark it by Friday all this aforementioned stocks would have lost between 40 to 50%. and if the election results are declared inconclusive as EXPECT then the losses will extend between 50 & 70% by then you will discover your drug of patience has expired.
