I didn't know it was hard to pray, untill I was given microphone today unexpectedly.

I wouldn't say I disgraced myself, but bro you supposed know how that kind thing dey be.

Elders are there, deacons and deaconess are there ever ready to be called at any giving opportunity, na me when sit down my own jejely for congregation dey look time...na pastor see call.

The full church was just observing as the usher was bringing the mic to where I stood.

I fumbled, even my voice for the speaker echo, the way my voice sounded in the speaker, some people Burst laugh.

Where I want start from,

My buddie that came with me to the church.(guy man just smiling sheepishly)

I just had to coordinate myself a little, I kept it short and simple.

Well, na small thing dey disgrace person.

A young man like myself go come dey fool myself say I nor sabi pray.. thank jah for how it played out.
It wasn't really that bad... he's not supposed to Take me unaware.

Because it was just as if the pastor get me for mind before.

Ever since have been attending that church it's elders, deacons, evangelist he normally calls to give closing prayer... and I know he normally informs them down.

As for my pastor am thinking about having a chat with him, I really didn't like it.

He can't just take me unaware like that.
if he wanted me to pray the closing prayer, he should. Have sent the usher with a piece of note to come inform me.
That would have been better, not calling me unexpectedly.
I had a similar experience last year before the lock down and all i have to say is never see it as necessary a bad thing. I was called upon unexpectedly in my church to recite a bible verse and to be honest the single bible verse i knew at that time suddenly disappeared from my head lol, i was laughed at just like you were. For the next few months after such act I temporary escaped from my church for months, but today i know over 50 bible verses i can recite well expectedly or unexpectedly. There are no mistakes or random events that take place in the house of God. Don't see it as a bad thing all those who laughed at you are not better than you, i dnt believe anyone is better than another person spiritually, we have all just forgotten our divine nature. What some men of God don't know is that everyone is different some people find it difficult to express themselves in public places than to talk of using public address systems. Do not feel bad brother, rather see it as a means to be always prepared for the unexpected, not only in religious or spiritual aspects but in every single aspect of your life. One love.

I started in 2019 too.

It’s been alright too.

For guys looking to come into IT. There two bottlenecks.

1) You need the ability to self learn. You are going to need to teach yourself a whole lot. It makes sense to get a mentor at first, but a real IT mentor will be busy as f**k. To keep moving, you will need to learn by yourself.

2) Indecision. IT field is wide. There’s absolutely no need to learn three or more programming language.

When I started, I wanted to learn JavaScript, Java, Python and PHP. There is no need to learn more than two.

Programming languages are just tools in solving a problem. There is no need to have 5 tools that solves the same problem.

Learning is easy, but application is hard. Learn by building project
Great update , I made the same early mistake trying to learn everything all at once but had to cut down to learning and mastering one at a time. I Think this contribution will be helpful for everyone trying to break-in to avoid being indecisive.

WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER STOP LEARNING

By clement ndiok

Learning is a continuous process that never ends, learning brings change, insight, exposure and creativity. Most successful people today are great learners they prioritize learning everyday through experiences, platforms, mistakes and other ways to improve on their skills. There are a variety of ways we could learn, we can learn visually, auditory which is simply learning by listening, we can also learn by practical experiences at its best. It is important to choose a learning style which works for you to enable you ensure improvement in the endless learning process, the emergence of the internet offers several ways through which we can learn, in fact there are endless means of learning to enhance our knowledge, these could include learning through online communities, written lectures or materials and audios etc. Living a life without learning is unthinkable as there will be no means to ascertain and benchmark our performance in everything to ensure improvement. Learning offers several benefits which could be beneficial in all areas of our life, several benefits of continuous learning includes:

Learning enhances growth
One of the greatest ways to experience an all round growth in life is by constantly learning and applying such knowledge in our daily life. Having significant insight in a particular field is quite commendable, but wanting to constantly improve and going on an endless quest for knowledge will give a much needed dept for growth. On the other hand we can measure growth with our ability to see improvement in all we do.

One of the guaranteed ways to definitely have some level of exposure is developing the ability of always wanting to improve. We find out new things everyday through experiences, research, coincidences and other ways, our ability to develop a learning habit will definitely ensure we have great exposure of field(s) which helps improves our lives and general knowledge in where we seek to improve.

Confidence
When we learn we exercise our brains no matter the method or means through which we learn, this process brings confidence as we have some level of information which could be related or unrelated in a particular field, this brings lots of confidence as we do not feel lost but actually will always have a viable contribution in little or big things.

Goals
Learning helps us fulfil our goals or even helps us develop new ones. One of the best ways to achieve something is finding an excellent and sustainable means that could be used in achieving it, learning will always bring several alternatives to solve or prevent a problem, These alternatives could be narrowed down to the best possible means by which a problem could be prevented or solved. Our goals are best achieved and attained if the best and sustainable routes are used to achieve them.

Ideas
The more we learn, the more we are able to expand our knowledge and think critically. always wanting to learn new things will definitely bring ideas, we will surely come across something we will want to implement and equally develop new ways of thinking.
EducationThe Influence Of Income On Banking Habit by Obasempiree(op): 2:53pm On Oct 03, 2021
THE INFLUENCE OF INCOME ON BANKING HABIT

By Clement Ndiok

There are various income level classifications in the world today, from the lower, middle and high-income levels which all have significant impact on banking habits. Income level which simply is the amount of monetary or other returns, either earned or unearned, accruing over a given period of time. Banking on the other hand consists of activities of accepting and safeguarding money or assets owned by other individuals and entities, and then lending out this money in order to conduct economic activities such as making profit or simply covering operating expenses. Prayers of banks, financial institutions and other financial custodians today are for clients to keep safeguarding money or assets with them for as long as possible without having an immediate use for it perhaps a great number of people who have developed a savings culture with theses banks without taking any advantage of some financial investment opportunities within the financial institutions itself have rendered such prayers answered. There are various income levels classification that can influence banking habits which includes:

Lower income level.
The lower income level classification include People with low income from work or business, about 61 percent of people in the world fall into the lower income level according to pew research. Typical jobs that fall into lower income include domestic servant, gardener, doorkeeper, janitor, scavenger etc. people classified into the lower income level term to be mindful of rigid savings because of little or less income to accommodate the ability to invest in financial instruments. Financial institutions term to benefit off the lower income level classification a lot, majority of people in this classification of income level are less risk takers and love safety nets, they will rather have an annual savings without return that is relatively safe at a banking institution than invest with return simply because of their income bracket. Equitably many have a very low knowledge of opportunities and a relatively low net worth, however some within the low-income level invest but are often interested in short term financial investments.

Middle income Level
In 2020, according to Pew Research 32 percent of the global population could be considered middle income, The middle-income level classification can be further divided into the higher and lower level, professions that generally fall into this level include: lawyers, engineers, pilots, doctors, lecturers, college teachers, middle level managers etc.… . The category of people at this level are average financial risk takers due to the comfortable income bracket, some or most people in this classification often look beyond savings as they hope to excel into having a higher income, some are equally open to loans, investment opportunities like treasury bills, bonds, shares, stocks and are basically looking for return on their funds kept or housed in a financial or banking institution. More often the higher middle-income level are always comfortably investing in their finances and have significant information on investment opportunities, here both the financial institutions and those that fall into this category have a balance on returns. Generally, classification of people in this income level are looking for medium term return on investment opportunities unlike the lower income level.

High income level
Lastly the high-income level classification have great financial freedom and have significant information that influences their banking habit, about 7 percent of people the world fall into the high-income level. People on this level include: top CEOs, wealthy businessmen, renowned investors etc.…., people in this level are constantly looking for further returns on their income and are more open to long-term investing like buying shares, engagement in foreign direct investment (FDI), investing in startups, investment in top real estate projects, long term fixed deposit, and other viable investments etc....This category of people are not just looking to save but to have returns with any reputable financial institutions they come across, this is because of their high net worth, financial freedom and application of the significant knowledge of useful information the find at their disposal.

Regardless of the level of income classification, there is always room for making right financial decisions that could lead to growth in one’s financial class. Banking goes beyond savings and withdrawal, information they say is power with little or big application of such information, an overhaul of the old way of banking can be changed. Banking could be done with many other certified financial institutions aside the popular commercial banks and having a return on long term savings by investing in financial instruments, loan facilitation (with little interest). There are countless financial investment opportunities that could pave way for developing a healthy long term banking habit.

If your aren't brave, the market is bound to chew up all your capital in no time. There will be days where everything you click goes blue, there will also be days where red is unavoidable grin grin its all part of trading. the only problem with traders regardless of their style (fundamental or technical) is that there is this eagerness to jump right back into the market after a loss to recover it right away and end of blowing their accounts up grin grin grin. Top professionals have mastered the emotional part of trading to accept and have limits whether they are on winning streaks or loosing streaks. still and still the market can be so unpredictable and there are definitely some things out of your control this is where the similarity with gambling comes in. if your dare trade on one of those days, example trading on a major country's election day e.g usa could be similar to donating your money to the market.

EducationSeven Things Nigeria Can Do To Reverse The Economic Situation In The Country. by Obasempiree(op):
SEVEN THINGS NIGERIA CAN DO TO REVERSE THE ECONOMIC SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY.

By clement ndiok

Nigeria has been a major economic force in Africa since its independence. Being known as the “Giant of Africa” for years due to the economic and social contributions it has made in its history from the sector of oil, entertainment, sports, religion and other viable sectors. This term however has been in question in the last decade due to the consistent declining economic situation it has faced as a country. Even with the adjustment of several policies by recent government to counter the declining economic situation, there has been no strong effective measure to stall or reverse the problem that has resulted in the high rate of inflation, unemployment, insecurity, inability to attract foreign investors and many other negative effects. The measures that have been put in place to manage the problem so far can be deemed as short-term measures, which can only be sustainable for a little period of time. However, there are measures that can be used to tackle the economic problems permanently on a long term. Here are some vital steps Nigeria can take to reverse the economic situation of the country for good.

1. Improved regulation in oil and gas industry
Nigeria’s oil and gas industry is booming. With more than 8.5 million
barrels of oil produced daily, Nigeria has been leading all African
countries when it comes to finding an economically viable alternative to
traditional fuels. However, recent events have caused many to question
whether or not proper regulation is in place for both oil companies, as well
as citizens living on top of these resources. For example On October 1st,
a Chevron pipeline ruptured spilling thousands of gallons of crude into a
major river and killing over 100 people. The incident occurred after locals
had repeatedly complained about oil company negligence; however, no
action was taken until tragedy struck. This highlights a need for better
regulation in order to protect citizens from unsafe work environments
while also ensuring that oil companies are held accountable for their
actions.

2. Diversifying the Economy.
Since the discovery of oil in 1956, Nigeria has strongly relied heavily on oil exports to sustain its economy, while giving less attention to other industries in the country. The economy can be diversified to the Agricultural and hospitality industry. The agricultural industry accounts for most of Nigeria’s exports after oil and can still be explored. Nigeria is rich in several agricultural products such as cocoa, oil palm, rice, yam, vegetables, tomatoes, groundnut and many more. The government could invest heavily in agriculture to improve our level of output for the benefit of all. Youths and other citizens could be encouraged to go into agriculture by the government through creating incentives like granting interest free loans or loans with little interest. This could boost the economy and create domestic expansion of our local agricultural companies and businesses. However, for this to be successfully executed these loans need to be given in groups and an independent regulatory body established to ensure proper monitoring of the group which benefits from these loans. Similarly, the economy can also be diversified to the hospitality industry if properly explored. A verbatim of what the government of U.A.E did in Dubai several years ago to improve the general economy of United Arab Emirates, to ensure an even development. They invested in the hospitality industry to accommodate countless hotels, tourist attraction sites, and even establish man made islands, made beaches that made Dubai the first tourist destination in the middle east for many. This can also be applicable to reversing the Nigerian situation. Nigeria being blessed with several natural potential tourist sites such as beaches, waterfalls, islands and natural vegetation. Establishing similar concepts like the Obudu mountain resort, Lekki conservation center, and Tinapa round the country, can equally make Nigeria a recognized tourist attraction location in Africa.

3. Encouraging Exportation.
Recent statistics suggest that Nigeria suffers from balance of trade deficit, an economic situation where imports outweigh exports which definitely has a negative impact on the economy. In 2020 Imports accounted for 65 percent and exports accounted for 35 percent of total trade. This could be corrected if exports are highly encouraged, policies like adding heavy tariffs on some certain imported products that could be produced locally, to encourage patronage of local products as well as encouraging duty-free exports of local products, can correct the economic situation to a balance of trade surplus, an economic situation where a country has more exports than imports. Here there is a demand for the local currency Nigerian naira, the naira in turn gains massive value over time because of its huge demand.

4. Stabilizing Electricity.
The instability of power supply in the country is one of the significant reasons why foreign investors leave Nigeria and potential investors choosing an exemption when considering to investing in Nigeria. Even with the privatization of the formerly National Electricity Power Authority (NEPA) to Power Holding Company of Nigeria by the previous administration of president Goodluck Johnathan to the hands of private individuals, this still has not solved the mystery of inconsistent power supply. An alternative means of power generation can be looked into to ensure we have variable source of power supply to allow an adequate sustainability of power and solve the long-term power problem.

5.Tackling insecurity.
Aside the instability of power supply, another major factor that needs to be addressed is insecurity. Since 2009 when the terrorist group boko haram claimed attacks in Borno state, there has been a general increase in crime and insecurity in the country. Prior before then in the southern part of Nigeria, specifically the Niger Delta region, there was another group of militants who attacked oil pipelines for quite a while, this was properly tackled by late president Umaru Musa Yaradua’s administration when the amnesty program was established to curb insecurity in the south. This only resulted in a reduction and not a complete eradication. Aside this, there has been several cases of kidnapping, arm robbery, pick pockets etc... this has made the country generally unsafe. The outcome of the high level of insecurity has amounted to investors leaving the country, foreign investors unwilling to invest in Nigeria, a massive increase in the high rate of unemployment and many more negative effects. Bringing out new measures to tackle insecurities will not only bring a favorable outcome in retaining investors, but will equally attract new foreign investors again to massively grow the economy.

6. Reforming the Dormant Seaports.
Sea transport being our main means of importation and exportation entails having multiple means of entry and exit but that is not the case in the country currently. According to the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), the country has six seaports: Apapa and Tin Can in Lagos, the Onne and Port-Harcourt ports in Rivers State, the Warri Port, and the Calabar Port. But, by many accounts, only the Lagos ports are operating anywhere near full capacity. A trip to Apapa seaport, Lagos will convince you that Nigeria needs an overhaul of their dormant seaports, the traffic congestion of tankers and trucks carrying containers waiting to load and offload goods will give you the idea of the horrors importers and exporters of goods go through to get in and out of the congested seaport. This situation can be easily resolved by reforming the other seaports in the country to ease the flow of traffic of goods and services.

7. Early Education on Practical Skills.
With the high rate of unemployment in the country today, emphasis can be made on practical skills from an early age to ensure the next generation are well equipped to be massive problem solvers and equally fund for themselves to ensure productivity. skills take a while to master and if these skills are learnt from an early age the next generation will have a lot of well-equipped talented problem solvers. Similarly, programs encouraging practical skills could be added to school’s curriculum and exercised during school hours, after school hours or even during holidays to ensure early talents identified can easily be developed to a maximum capacity. This could can have some constraint, but if it is made compulsory for all schools or communities as the case maybe by the government then we will surely grow the economy in the future and have a long-term solution to the current existing economic problems for the next generation.

What's the use of a First class graduate who cant write error free sentences?
No one is this life is without error or mistake my friend, people judge what they know nothing about. We can not and will never be defined by a single action especially when they do not matter. people like you who love theories and pick faults are the major problem in the society. but let me say this, theories are useless if they can not be applicable in life or practically. say to yourself today i will stop seeing faults in people and start seeing the best in them, even if i truly do not know them. and you will find yourself in a new world, Stop making your world a pond.

Sorry if i did not care too much about that, and i likely did not review before posting it here. I just wanted to pass on my message when i saw the topic, This is however an unofficial discussion so all those may not count. I know for sure no matter what you do in life people will always find faults, you just happen to be one of them. Even if I reviewed and posted a highly advance use of synonyms, punctuations and vocabulary like i do in my books AND publications they may still find faults on me trying to be perfect or still find something wrong with my name. We are all not perfect ,do not have any expectations from me. I will rather be a problem solver in the society than trying to be perfect in all my ways, especially when they do not matter. I cannot but admire your bravery and determination. Continue down that scholarship path. Now you have some digital and IT skills, stamp those on your CV when applying for scholarships abroad. There are fully funded scholarships abroad, search deep for them. In fact sleep on Universities’ websites, you would definitely find them, one of them would reply one day. Continue searching, don’t give up.
Thanks much i will keep looking.
