kennex89: Please for those who have attended the interview with their spouse on deriviatives and have won can you please confirm this for me in respect to the high school things, this is so because i have not yet collected my school testimonial because i did not pass my weac so i have been using my GCE and i dont know if i go to the embassy without it i will be disqualify because i dont intedn to go with it, just my GCE certificate and a scratch card for evidence on the result and my university certificate, but my wife who is the pricncipal applicant has her testimonial and other documents with her, please house what d you think about this......EVIDENCE OF REQUIRED EDUCATION OR WORK EXPERIENCE: The principal applicant must submit a certified copy of a school diploma confirming successful completion of secondary or higher education; OR documentary evidence of two years of work experience within the past five years in an occupation requiring at least two years of training or experience to perform. Only the principal applicant is subject to this requirement. The U.S. Department of Labor’s O*Net OnLine database will be used to determine qualifying work experience. Please check DV Lottery instructions for more information....
Though your question goes to those who have been interviewed, but before they respond, may I try to answer with my little understanding of your question? (though, I pray to have successful interview too very soon)
To start with, beneficiaries are not mandated to submit their evidence of education but if you have it handy, no crime
Also, for Principal Applicant whose certificate is mandated, it is stated that proof/evidence of completion of 12years of education (bolded), which means if you are submitting GCE (being an external exam), a testimonial will be considered but if NECO, WASSCE or Any approved internal exams, Testimonial is not compulsory
Does this help a bit?

timimoyegun: Hello Mr Obatide,

Pls what's the attachment for the NPC thing?
Pls forward it to my PM timimoyegun@gmail.com

Thanks and hope you're set.

Long time Mr Timi,
It's part of required documents for process of NPC stuff. It's already attached here on my reply to @Darmhee, at 4:22pm (Nigeria time) in previous page, kindly click:
https://www.nairaland.com/1275397/dv-2014-winners-meet-here/134
Other documents needed are: sworn affidavit of Birth, 2passport photo and Nationally Recognized form of Identification.
I'm doing my best to get set, thanks
Hope it helps?

@kevwe, maybe u don't take note, after submission of above listed other documents in NPC office, what will convey Your request is that covering letter/application. However, they do refer applicant to manual typist around their office to get it typed at a fee, but trust me, just feel people could have it handy to avoid unnecessary stress & exploitation, which is the primary purpose of this thread.
Any contrary opinion?

Darhmee: Hello house.. I'm planning to do my age attestation tomorrow.. Please what are the requirements, how will I get to the court that does the affidavite from obalende, how much do the court charge? And also, how much do the NPC people charge? Are there any processes involved? I await ur replies

I doubt if NPC office work on Saturdays.
Also, if u have sworn affidavit of Age before, u may not need another one but if not affidavit is between 250 naira & 1k, depending on your source.
NPC at Surulere charges 3k for the attestation of birth.
U may drop ur e-mail, let me forward the sample of letter required for the NPC, I'm tryn to attach but not done

Hope it helps a bit?

Suretreasure: Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised.
I had a successful Interview last week.
N.B: I did my interview outside Nigeria
Pre-interview during submission of documents.
CO: What's your occupation?
Me: Student
CO: Which school?
Me: Answered
CO: How old are you?
Me: Answered
The CO then asked for the documents one after the other and also asked if I've any other documents she hasn't asked for. I gave her all my supporting documents & she choose the needed ones out of them. Then, I did the finger print.
CO: Pls, go and have your sit, you'll be call to the interview room shortly. (Immigrants are interviewed specially in a room)
The real Interview with the CO.
CO: Sorry for the mispronunciation of your name, can you pls correct me? (Immigrants are not assigned numbers since we're few)
Me: I pronounced it for him syllabically.
CO: I know you've been to many countries, tell me what you're doing here
Me: I'm a studying
CO: What are you studying?
Me: Medicine
CO: O.k. Have you ever been to the States?
Me: No
CO: Did you've any relatives there?
Me: No
CO: Then, who is the person you filled on the form?
Me: My Dad's friend
CO: How did he became friend with your Dad?
Me: I explained vividly
CO: Can you tell me something about the Germany stamp on your passport?
Me: I applied for a Germany transit Visa but was rejected.
CO: Why were you rejected?
Me: Incomplete document. The Interviewer ask for my bank acct statement which I didn't go with for my Interview.
CO: What of the South Africa stamp?
Me: I passed through South Africa when I was coming to study here.
CO: Why did you played for the lottery?
Me: Answered
CO: Where did you played for it?
Me: Answered
CO: Did you played with your friends/relatives? Were they also selected?
Me: No. I didn't played with friends. But my brother also played.
CO: Was he selected?
Me: No
CO: What was his reaction?
Me: He supported me & helped me a lot.
CO: Who did you told when you were selected?
Me: My brother & My Dad
CO: What did your Dad says then?
Me: He said I should continue with the processing.
CO: I have to approve your Visa now since all your documents are completed
Me: Thank you Sir
CO: You had good grades in your results. (Returned my original documents to me)
Me: Thank you Sir
CO: Any question for me?
Me: Can I travel out of the States before I get my Green card?
CO: I know you don't have much holidays, so try & go to the States during this Xmas & make sure you don't stay out of the States for more than a year so that you won't loss your residence. I know you'll like to finish school before going to the States finally.
(He was right, my longest holiday which is less than a month is during the Xmas.)
CO: Any other question?
Me: No
He then gave me a paper and told me where to pick up my Passport & Visa package.
Then I walked out of the Interview hall with my ever smiling face like a bachelor who just get a Yes from his dream girl.
God is so great.

Advice:
1. Apply "One step at a time" rule so as not to get carried away due to anxiousness.
2. For those outside Nigeria, pls try and get the police report from your present country even if you haven't send up to a year in the country.
3. Get your Vaccination record so as not to spend unnecessary money. Ask those at home to get it for you & scan it if you're outside Nigeria.

Thanks you all, in one way or the other, I've learnt from most people on this trend. Special thanks to @ Ernestleon, you're blessed Bro.
For those awaiting their Interview & 2NL, believe & have faith that the Visa is yours.
Wishing you all success in your endeavours.
Congratulations

bendam: Good people.may God Almighty perfect His work in our lives. Please can anyone help with the following questions
(1) is it advisable to go with naira for the visa fee or convert to the exact amount in dollars
(2) can someone help in describing the embassy at the Victoria island cos I will be coming from ikeja where I will put up with a friend.am from outside Lagos
I will appreciate your kind response please
Thanks
1. Embassy accept both currencies, so your exchange rate determines which u wish to pay with. Eg Embassy rate is 165 naira to a dollar at constant rate, so if u get it cheaper, decision is yours.
2. People say its close to bonny camp. Those who are familiar with the terrain will help out, Ive posted someting similar to avoid re-occurence of this type of question, but think they av been busy, be patient, i believe pple like @seubis, @G2glory,@roodboy, @femishow & co, will soon respond cos i know thats their groove
hope my story help a bit?
