rantileye:You are welcome sir. KCC and LagosIV have final say on all issues as someone has advised you to contact KCC. However, if you don't present your case in a manner that portray truth and uniqueness, you may end up getting a generalized response, that's the more reasons I believe if you read other people's idea, it may restructure your enquiry to get the desired response. Now to your Question: The Embassy emphasized that Reschedule interview may not be entertained in this fiscal Year, hence, they advice invitees to attend their appointment. Note that though, the fisca year will end on September 30th, 2014. So, If you are yet to receive 2nd NL by that time, you can still update your record with KCC and still meet up. On a personal note once again, pls read that 2013 thread I referred you to. I have my reasons. If you can review this 2014 thread between October 17 to early Days of this November, you will see where som1 post a reply from KCC, when he notified them of a new child birth. Take note of that reply from them pls. I have attached it here for your peruse. Madu77: Goodmorning house. Please I need so more clarifications on this. I sent mail to KCC that the wife put to bed and kindly read the reply, Take note of BOLDED as im Wishing you all the best Sir. |

rantileye: Please house i still need the help on sometin, my fiance is pregnant and wanna do the wedding by january. My CN is not yet current till march next year, bt i have sent my forms to KCC since june this year as SINGLE. Is it possible for me to resend another forms to them after the wedding as MARRIED and will it still meet up for the fiscal year 2014?. Am counting on you people my forumite. ThanksWhat an interesting question, but delicate at the same time. DV programme is a Lottery and Life cannot be stagnant all because of plan to win lottery. if your marriage is as a result of genuine long time relationship and you can proof that to the CO with whatever evidence of long time even before you applied for the Lottery, you should be good to go. Otherwise, on a personnal opinion, I will advice you to revist your decision. Issue similar to this came up in 2013 thread, Read between JUNE and OCTOBER postings on 2013 thread. I hope it helps a bit? 1 Like |

geogec: Thanks a lot. I wish to also know if Birth certificate from local government that has both parent name on it is allowed or must it be the one from NPC. Thanks I need response1. Each applicant will need to obtain an original birth certificate issued by the official custodian of birth records in the country of birth, showing the date and place of birth and the parentage of the applicant, based upon the original registration of birth. Submit to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate at your interview. Important Notice: All Immigrant Visa applicants must submit a long form original birth certificate. Short form birth certificates will not be accepted. The certificate must contain the: Person's date of birth; Person's place of birth; Names of both parents; and, Annotation by the appropriate authority indicating that it is an extract from the official records. hence, NPC ATTESTATION IS REQUIRED source; http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/visa_4760.html https://www.nairaland.com/1275397/dv-2014-winners-meet-here/63 |

bobjackson: Please, anybody no were the WAEC office is located in lagos. Cus I want to go collect my original result/certificate, and pls how much will it cost. Reply plss oo jigga40: Go to the school you wrote WAEC you can collect it there cos they normally send d cert over! prosperadewunmi:Good responds, but in addition, if its GCE, collection is based on the Zone where the exam was written because they have zonal offices in OGBA, YABA, IKORODU, OJO etc, so if u could post where (Area) the exam was written & the Year (because they have schedule) you may get more responses. Otherwise, when You get to OGBA office, you will be directed to where you will collect it, if not there. It costs 1500 Naira, but u may budget 2500 Hope it helps? 1 Like |

TCPonly: My visa collection is this friday but I tried tracking it in this format: 2014AF3624,and it is still giving me invalid case number. If the problem persist by tomorrow, I guess you can assume that its site's error, then rush to Lagos on Friday or Monday for collection. Taking Jollywin's case as an example: He did his interview a day before yours and he has collected, so it could be their site's error so sorry for the stress and I hope it helps? |

Firewami: pls house, after filin form ds 230 and 122 wit my wife new family name and indicating her maiden name which was used to play d lottery for her as a single. i then scanned the filled form and passport photograph to KCC, d response i got is 'the information u have provided does not match the case, pls supply d correct information' . Pls i am totally confuse, i don't kno wot to do. i need help pls, wot should i do?Sorry for the little stress sir, all will be well. In addition to what kevwe and others have said, Lets take a practical approach, believing that you get married before the result was released? if so then When you fill ds 230 and 122 with a new name as a result of status change (Attach a note and if possible marriage certificate) also when sending it, you need to quote the information as they appear on winning notification i.e Case No: 2014........ Full Name (as appeared in her notification, which is her maiden name and other names): Date of Birth: I believe its after receiving your forms that they will update your status change (marital name), but something must link them to the original information of the principal applicant. pls do it this way and you will be glad you did. Hope it helps? |

XYZZ: House please I want to know, concerning the USIC feee, I my paying for my 1 year old son too?According to the information below, yes, your son needs to pay USCIS fee. Do you pay $330 visa fee for him pls? Foreign nationals who seek permanent residence in the United States and receive an immigrant visa from the Department of State need to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee online before departing for the United States. How to Pay the Fee You must pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee online using USCIS ELIS. You may pay for yourself and for any family members who will live with you in the United States. Attorneys, accredited representatives, and employers are not authorized to create a USCIS ELIS account on your behalf to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee. Only you, as the immigrant, may open a USCIS ELIS account and pay the required fee in order to obtain your Permanent Resident Card (Green Card). You will need to complete the electronic payment request and provide: Your Alien number (A-Number) and your Department of State (DOS) Case ID number. If you pay for your family members, you must have their A-Numbers, DOS Case ID numbers and correct biographic information. You also will need to provide a valid credit or debit card or, if you choose to have money taken directly from your bank account, a checking account number and the routing number for your U.S. bank. We that have gone for our interview are in better position to answer questions, they are many people here who will assist. For the fact that u won the lottery and they sent u r 2NL means that they have allocated a visa for. So please always say the truth no matter how stupid the truth is.
