Hello obehi44 greetings to you , concerning this property documents I have 3 landed properties owned by my father ,would submitting them in his name be a wise decision or he should gift and change to my name or what do you think I need opinions please
Okay this is what I think it’s right to do,
1. If your father is your sponsor, there is need submit the documents in his name.
2. If you are not a teenager and has been working, you should have a property of your own in your name. Your dad can give you a portion of his land or houses. “A gift of land” or “irrevocable gift of land”
Mind you, properties does not only limit to empty land. It can be houses with income, it can be land that brings income(farm or anything), it can be his business, it can even be his very expensive car(with documents oh), etc
So he will his own and you have your own both submitted ‘if’ you are of age or maybe 1st son or only son etc

Solve the maths yourself.

@tba11

You wrote about documents authentication,

What is the name of the agency that does this authentication?
Is it a government or private agency?
Is it a law firm or a court?

Please educate us more.

Please what is the full meaning of LOE, I see it being used alot here.

I was also refused last year for January 2020 intake and would like to re-apply for September 2020 intake.

When I requested for my GCMS note, it was stated that my reason for traveling to study abroad is vague, not properly documented and not convincing enough that I will return after study.

I did Agricultural Science as an undergraduate and have been working with Telecoms company for about 10 years. The course I applied for is PGCert in wireless networking which is related to my current field.

Please I need a guide on how to write an SOP that will convince the Visa officer.

Thanks and God bless.
LOE - letter of explanation

Switching from agriculture to wireless networking is what the VO considered as your study plan being vague and not properly documented and that is not a fear decision since you have about 10yrs working experience in that field.
Sometimes I wonder if these VO’s spoke weed or they just give visa at random. Because this your case is called career progression and should fly.
But maybe your LOE or SOP as the case may be, was not convincing enough.
Therefore, I will advise you put more effort on that while responding to the refusal reasons when next.
I wish you luck

Hello friends, please Help. I got a Biometric validity mail yesterday. I submitted around 27th of January and did biometric that same day at vfs office. No upfront Medical's and no medical call up yet, what could be the issue?Does it mean I have been Refused? Somebody please respond
If you have been following up, you would have read that BVL without medical request means refusal. But one can never tell when it comes to IRCC. One thing that is sure is that a decision has been reached on your application. Now you have to be hopeful that the decision should be in your favour.
I wish you luck

I greet the gurus in the house.

@frankrobbn1
@other gurus

I need your help guys! Please. I got an admission to study PGD Business Adminstration at Langara college. I paid $6000 tuition deposit.

Rejection letter dropped with these generic reasons:

Travel history
Employment situation
Family ties
Lack of funds.

I have a Bsc in computer science, not eligible for masters so I applied for PGD. In my SOP I explained I am changing careers to entrepreneurship and showed a history of experience in business line since 2014 till date.(perhaps that's why I wasn't rejected for purpose of visit).

I am currently unemployed but have a startup am trying to grow and explained this as my reason for wanting to study business adminstration.

Sponsor is my brother. We do not use same surname. my surname is my grandfather's name why he used my father's name.

Documents submitted:
His business registration
Tax clearance
House documents
Acct with balance of 40m

Transcript
Waec
Police clearance
Sop
Imm forms

Please how do I proceedhuh I already ordered GCMS notes but I learned they are currently having too many request and the notes won't be ready till 60days.

My school is to resume May and I'm thinking of reapplying asap. I need help please.
My opinion....

1. It means you didn’t add your own SOA, therefore reason for “Lack of funds”

2. You are unemployed, therefore “employment situation” . This also goes beyond being employed. It’s important to show how the intended program will improve your employment situation back in Naija and how it may help employ others and better the economy at large.

3. Travel history has nothing to do with students visa. But it ‘may’ be a plus if you have it.

4. Family ties: from the list of documents you wrote here, I couldn’t see any family tie. You need serious work here.

My opinion....

I have been following this thread for a while, and i applied for a visa.... I need your help... i got an admission with a Connestoga college Canada, and have paid my tuition deposit, after submitting my whole documents I got rejected base on the following grounds ..

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation.

I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your travel history.

Can someone help me out to address this issue to reapply again...
Is it just me over thinking? Seems the visa rejection for this Conestoga College is high. May be I am over thinking though.

Anyway, is this your first application?

What was your first degree and what program were you going for?

Kindly list the documents to submitted for the visa application.
Attend to these three and the men here will certainly have good answers on the loop wholes and how to improve your visa app when next.

No upfront medical.

What do y’all think is happening ?
Since it’s an upfront medical, was the medical updated to pass on your IRCC online account?
If yes, then your application is in a 50/50 state. BVL comes once a decision has been reached.
So pray the decision is in your favour. Don’t let anyone tell you is good or bad. At this stage it’s 50/50. Pray hard. I wish you luck

Guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what? It's a MEDICAL REQUEST . My special thanks to frankrobbn1 for making this a reality. He is the brain behind my application beginning from the admission process down to the Visa application. He singlehandedly packaged my second application after been denied of my visa. He wrote a convincing LOE that addressed the reasons for my previous refusal, and assured me that everything will surely fall in place this time. He also included volunteer reference letters that also strengthened my home ties, since the VO was not satisfied I will leave Canada after studies. My brother I forever remain indebted to you. Believe me, you're a guru in this Canada immigration and my life changer. Keep doing that which you know how to do best bro and my God reward your good intentions towards humanity.

Only heaven knows how happy I am at the moment. grin grin

#Respect Boss!! You too much I swear.

I wish you all the best, and await my profile once PPR drops! cool
Congratulations!
May such testimony keep coming and may it go round IJN

Hello, I am doing great. It's still the same output. A lot of questions will be asked;
1. What do you bring to the company that's leading them to sponsor you?
2. Why would they want to spend all that money on one person?
3. Will the directors, shareholders etc allow the company sponsor an individual etc...
How about in the case where the owner (applicant’s brother with same surename)of the company is the sponsor ?
Meanwhile, he will also add his private account.

To begin with the chances of a visa officer getting convinced that a company will use their working capital to sponsor your education in Canada is extremely is extremely low.

Thanks for the response bro
Actually, my younger brother finished secondary school two years ago, he is applying with his WAEC result, he has not engaged in any post secondary programme. Also he wrote his waec exam in a school different from where he attended secondary school. And we filled in the school that appeared in the waec certificate in his application form. So I am a bit confused on where I should go get his secondary school transcripts.
Thanks sir
Don’t I think a waec scratch card will work here?

You don’t need to be worried, you can send an email asking about your application as it has passed the processing time and you will like to get prepared on time so as not to miss bla bla bla. (Depends on when your school is to resume though)
Meanwhile, your medical supposed to have been updated on your account. Maybe you have to check again and also contact the medical center to know if they sent it or not. Also try and send them the medical report you got via web form and email.
Kindly, come back to update the house.
I wish you luck.

Sincerely it’s good to do the right thing. But we know that such “right thing” may put one in big trouble especially or in case visa fails.
Two ways this can be done.
1. Meet with that person who will sign it and that person they may call. Privately ask them to keep it private that you just want to try and they should be aware just in case they call.

2. Do it yourself. I will tell you more privately if you want

Quick question.
Submitted my application about a month ago.
Someone in canada helped with it actually. He is family, cousin. He has a PR, and it showed in the application that ill be staying with him and all that. My dad is the sponsor with a strong account and properties docs which we submitted and all other important stuff.
Yesterday, they requested for my cousin's account statement.
Is this good or bad news? Isnt my dad's enough?
Should that be scary?
I think it’s a good thing and you don’t need to be scared.
For CIC to even contact you alone about a document, it means your app is in good form.
I hope that your cousin is working and receives money via his bank account. The amount in his account as balance won’t really matter I guess, maybe they just want to be sure if he is working and will be able to take care of you since your application is saying you will be staying with him.
This are my personal thoughts though.
This is also an eye opener for me and I draw positives from it.

Please guys if someone does upfront medical after submitting application online, how long does it they for CIC to acknowledge the result? Also, is it usually successful?
After a medical, the medical center will send the result to CIC direct btw 72hrs. Though you may have a printout from them, that also you may send via web form and email yourself.
It depends on the stage of your application and if it was a medical call up. But generally, it should take btw 3-14 days for it to be update.
Mind you, all applications are not the same.

Good day everyone i am about applying for my study visa but i have some very important questions to ask about my sponsor, i got admission to a masters program in University Of Regina ,The person i am planning on using as a sponsor is my step sister uncle (step sister Dad brother) he is a director in one of Lagos state ministry,i cant use my parents statement of account due to financial capabilities, so i would like to know if this is a red flag, if its not, what is the best way i can prove a relationship with him and what are the necessary documents or letters he will need to provide fpr me,also will he be required to transfer some sum of money into my account just to prove commitment and also i would be including my step sister as part of my siblings, hope this wont raise a red flag, i would really appreciate if i can be guided about this, thanks everyone
cc qukdom justwise frankrobbn1 and others thanks
Now this is why it is always said here to read up some pages before asking questions. Such has been ask and answered in different methods here before.
Anyway, your question is if using your step sister’s uncle as your sponsor is a red flag?
Ans: YES and NO
Yes because you don’t bear same surename and CIC is always concerned about that not being just a sponsor just for the sake of applying for visa and then won’t really help you with money for fees and LE, therefore you becoming a liability to Canada.
No if you can prove your relationship to him.
How do you do that?
1. I don’t know if a family tree will work here though.
2. Pictures of you and him with your step sister
3. Birth certificate of your step sister and that of her uncle
4. Prove of how he has helped you financially before in the past.
Then above all, he can show commitment by sending the funds that he wish you help you with into your account. He will mention it in his letter and show it in his SOA and you too will do the same.
I am not a guru but I hope this helps.

Good morning house i would like you guys to put me through pls I’m about to apply for my study permit through online route am I to upload my original documents or I should make photocopies of them and upload them and is it necessary I provide a police clearance thanks
Not trying to be sarcastic but this is a very funny question for an individual who is going to study at a higher institution abroad for that matter.
If you scan a document, the original remains with you I guess lol
Well, you should scan clean clear colored copies of your documents to upload. You only use photocopies when you are submitting via paper route.
As for police clearance, it’s not a CIC requirement. They will do a background check on you by themselves. But you can still do follow follow sha and do it like some people does.
I hope this helps

I have said this before and I am saying it again, if you ask a question and you specify who and who you want to respond, you may not get your response on time or get different opinions.
I don’t know much or have all the time in the world to be here, neither do I believe there is a someone here who knows all.
So I suggest we keep our questions wide. The more opinion the better the result or sense you may pick from the response.

Any assistance ?
What I guess he means being specific is that, assuming your tuition for 1yr or even a semester has been paid, the sponsor should write something like this. “Apart from paying s/he tuition fees( see payment receipt attached), I have also set aside N0,000,000 ($00,000) to cover for his or her leaving expenses for one year, the remaining of the tuition fees and for any other expenses that may arise”

Make sure not to copy this words of mine like this oh, I am only trying to make you see how it will look like. And in the case where you haven’t paid any tuition fee, it means you will have to change the grammar but still be specific. Meanwhile you will have to solve the maths of LE + Tuition + extra = ...... and fix it where those money figures are, both in $ and Naira.
I hope this helps
