Truthshurts: Can someone or anyone share the process of reapplying I need the step please. Thank you There is no special process of reapplying, it's same process. The difference will be that you have been able to respond or tackle your refusal reasons and showing how your situation as regards the refusals has changed. But this time you won't have to do biometrics again since it last for 10yrs. Only that you will have to pay visa application fee any time you apply. |

Glasses1: Hello house.. Quick question please.. If I send additional documents after submitting my application, is it going to appear with my already submitted documents in my portal? I sent in my CAC documents after my application was submitted... I cannot see it in my list of submitted documents after 3weeks.. should I be worried? No you should not be worried. I don't think it's supposed to show with already submitted documents. But you must have gotten a confirmation response that they received your documents |

eguoski: I have not yet gotten any update on my re-application since November 13th. I have already done biometric capture in my first application. It's still showing that its under Review for eligibility and also background check is in process. School resumes in January. Is it okay to contact them by Friday this week? Only contact them when you are sure that your application has passed the current processing time as at when you applied. I think they will contact you this week though. Goodkuck |

Truthshurts: Is there no one to prefer advice for this situation please Personally I have never seen or heard of these generic refusal reasons before. Unless maybe you are not typing the right refusal reasons. And I guess that's why many are confused. |

Dbnagato: You're right. Anyone that wants to apply now should better hold their horses till January but that doesn't mean that those that already applied have no hope. Congratulations bro. @Stevenssen is right. You are lucky and a case of 1/20. Let's hope it's true about the quota thing and hold on applying till next year. As we can see the processing time is BTW 3-5weeks now. It seems they are already witnessing a drop in applications/applicant. And like you said, those that already applied still have hope. |

Sirromey: I am reapplying for visa not reapplying for admission. I guess he means you should get a new admission with either of those courses rather than using the one you had before. That way you will eliminate "purpose of visit" refusal reason. |

BVL after medical passed its a 50/50 like Mr Frank already mentioned. But that your application is just 3weeks... that's where the fear comes in. Recently i would have said processing times is 3 weeks, but those that got response on the 3rd week are mostly refused. Your case may be different. The God of decision may favour you. PRAY.... It will end in praise. MissMichelleA: Hi guys. I just got a letter concerning the validity of my biometrics. Is this what you people call a BVL letter? Also what could this mean? I did upfront medicals and it has been updated to pass on the 7th of November. This is just the third week. |

Are you saying all those that got refused didnt do all the things they are asked to do or didnt do them correctly? Or may be they dont have God or they dont have the grace of God? clap for yourself.... Ubah007: I don’t think these Stats are true sometimes people post whatever they wanna post online.if you provide all the right documents asked(Just do everything you are asked to by them correctly and carefully) from CIC/IRCC. And with the grace of God you will be granted the Visa. I have never believed in such. |

Wow! You were refused visa just for this one reason? This is wickedness....those people are not nice at all. so sorry about your refusal. I guess you were working, did you include a leave letter and a reference letter with the letter headed from your place of work? In other words, here is what i know should tackle this refusal reasons. 1. Leave letter: stating that the study leave you requested for has been granted for so so and so period. It will mention what happens to your salary etc. 2. Reference Letter: This will come from the head of your department or owner of the company. Stating they s/he is aware of your going to study so so and so course, their support, highlighting your job role in the company and also mention how the course you are going for may help their company and give you promotion bla bla bla.... 3. Your personal bank account statement should be able to reflect your monthly salary payments.(may not be important though) 4. If you include some of your salary pay slip too. (may be of help) I am not a guru oh, but i think this should solve employment situation Biot34: Good day I was denied a Canada study visa based on this reason I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on your current employment situation
Please how can I respond to this situation if I want to reapply |

Just stumbled on these statistics this morning and i thought i should share. Do you notice a trend for Nigeria? Seems they have a certain number of study permits they issue to Nigerians. I did the maths and i came up with and average of btw 6000 - 6200 per year for Nigerians. I am sure it will be up to 6 Million applicant per year. Multiply that by the cost of visa fee. This is the reason why i say it takes grace and luck. And the more reasons why its good to also start considering other countries. I wish us all luck.

If you didnt do an upfront medical that has been passed, then i am sorry its most likely a refusal. But i honestly hope that they will change that style, but that is how it is base on experience. Anyway, expect the next msg soon (24-48hrs). echdani: Hello everyone, i pray all our hustle will end in praise. Thanks to all who have been supporting with one information or the other, God blessyou all. Cjleks: I got a refusal today. For a while my world paused. It's disappointing and heart breaking though but I won't give up just yet.
Thanks to Uncle Frankrobbn1 for his continuous encouragement and support. I wish everyone the very best in the application.
God bless us all. So sorry about your refusal, Please dont over think it. Rather order for your GCMS note that is if you feel there is more to the refusal reasons. Otherwise, their GCMS note this days are more like copy and paste too just like the refusal reasons. My advise will be: 1, take a look into other countries like UK, Ireland, Australia. 2, Consider the EE option and 3, Make sure to take your time and dont rush before you re-apply to Canada if you must. I wish you all the best. |

Since you are sure that the bank documents are not counterfeit, then quickly go to the bank, tell them about the message you got, ask for a reprint, they may also give you a cover letter or send the document to the immigration/embassy directly or give you a password that you will send to the immigration so that they can access the document. In other words, all i am saying is that you have nothing to worry about, just go to the bank and it will be resolved. Congratulations... though you didnt tell us about your approval until now that you have issues. It will end in praise. muna3926: Please gurus in the house help me out ,i got approval and passport request since oct 2 and i submitted oct4th after waiting for more than 1month ,They now sent me a mail that i used a counterfeit bank documents ,that i should send in the proper documents within 30days of the mail, please what do i do ,am sure the documents are not counterfeit |

You will have to defer your admission in other for you to have time to address your refusal reasons if you wish to reapply. other your GCMS note to also help you see what they mean by purpose of visit. I know it usually says study plan vague and not properly documented, but i honestly hope they explain better in note. You can also share the list of the documents you submitted and your profile so that others here can be of help with suggestions. Meanwhile, i will also suggest you look into other countries. Canada refusal rates is what i dont understand. it just gives many hopeless hope. I wish you luck ESTHERNDUKA: thanks plenty..... Just how you were reading my mind. That guy does not work for nairaland, he is also one of us but with immigration knowledge and a good heart. If he doesnt ask you doesnt mean he wont accept it. And again by specifically mentioning him in your questions could be making others who would have contributed back down. That wasnt how it was when i joined. The more the input the better. Ginaruby: Left, right, up, down Frankrobbn1 can you help me do this do that. I have not heard anyone say frank drop your account number. you guys should also support his selfless act. Kindly note that the following status did not change throughout my application process: 1. Background checks 2. Review of eligibilty
Programme applied for and offered admission in: Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain management (1 academic year duration) Institution: Mohawk College
I have a BSc in Agricultural economics and farm management (Bowen University Iwo), and a MSc in Agricultural economics (Reading University). I currently work with my family farm business; as a farm inventory manager.
Documents I submitted with my application: 1. Letter of acceptance from Mohawk College 2. MSc degree certificate and transcript 3. BSc degree certificate and transcript 4. NYSC certificate 5. WAEC certificate 6. Previous copies of travel stamps and visas to show travel history. 7. Statement of purpose/intent: I had to give a background of my work and academic history, and went further to explain how studying supply chain management would help build my skillsets and in turn help me when I return to the family business in Nigeria. 8. Orlarshaynee: I think the first and best thing to do is contact your school and explain things, then also ask them if you can still pay tuition now and if they will still give you a chance for Winter 2020 resumption, if they say it is late for that, ask them if they can consider you for the next resumption maybe fall 2020.
From what you posted, it seems you already paid a fee to secure your seat; the $1500. It is important they give you another chance, else it may affect your getting a visa (not permit) to study (if there isn’t any school you will be going to). What I mean is, the screening at ‘port of entry’; they will likely ask for proof that you’ve paid tuition for the term you are resuming for. This is what I think, however, you should wait for responses from the gurus here. Okay. Thanks so much |

Hello house,
My school sent this email saying admission has been revoked, stating that either tuition was not paid or other reasons. Though this was the same admission that was used for the previous visa application that was refused in Sept. But I honestly forgot or forgot to check that there was a set date (Oct 15, 2019) to pay the balance(after paying the $1500) tuition fee for the first semester (admission is for Jan 2020).
Now, visa application is on and just completed 2 weeks. Medical is upfront and showing "we are reviewing the result of your medical".
My question now is, what do i do concerning the school? Contact them? If so, what do I say? Will they still allow me to pay?
Will this have effect or affects the visa process? |

AM I GOOD TO GO GURUS IN THE HOUSE? You have more than enough to go ahead with your application. The only thing you did not add is the "Grace of God". I guess you may be asking if you need to add more documents to these your long list. I bet you some of us got scared with this your list sef. So, just follow the below... . 1. No two applications is or should be the same. 2. No two VO's are the same. 3. Focus first and mainly on the cic requirements before you jam-park your application with other supporting documents. 4. Arrangement: make sure you know how to arrange your documents, where each is suppose to be and which should come first. 5. Take your time. There is one mentality about this Canada visa thing. Some of those who have gotten always feels it's because their SOP, LOE or documents or progression or in general their application was perfect. NA LIE. Two things, (a) it was your turn and (b) the grace of God. "Na who pass Na him no book" I wish you all the best. |
