I am an Engineering technician at a reputable company. My annual income is 3.1M and salary increment is done on a yearly basis.

With the inflation rate the economy has posed on every Nigerian citizen, I am fully aware that what I am earning presently is a peanut. Yet, I thankful because 4yrs ago I could remember taking a job of 18k per month for the same role.

Preservation and my competence on the job has gotten me this far and I believe more is yet to come.

I wish this write up can change someone's notion that hardwork still pays. When I tell you that there are jobs out there tht doesn't require knowing someone within the organization, believe me, it is true because God has kept me this far.

So please, convert tht depression to motivation and you would see tht things would get better.
