Kairoseki77: Stop thinking of Biafra and start thinking of how Nigeria can go better!

You see South Sudan? We don't want to end up like that o!

If huge, diverse nations like the US, China, and India can come together and develop themselves, why can't Nigeria?

Let's turn the "nigga area" into the finest destination in the world and stop dividing ourselves so that we can be conquered!
No, China was China, India was India but Nigeria is an artificial creation, a union of disparate peoples that enjoy pulling others down.
RomanceRe: Can I Date My Cousin's Cousin by Obiagu1(m): 8:42am On Dec 21, 2013
Wunmi is your mum's step sister = Aunt not your cousin.
Dotun is the daughter of your mum's step brother = 1st Cousin.

So the answer is NO, you can't date nor marry your cousin.

A former Minister of Aviation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, who had initially taken to Twitter to deny the authenticity of the letter on behalf of Iyabo backtracked, stating that he was confused as to his initial claim.
PoliticsRe: I Hope The Champions Of Breakup Are Monitoring Whats Going On In South Sudan! by Obiagu1(m): 8:36pm On Dec 20, 2013
wazoboy: I think you guys who think the best way to go for Nigeria is breakup should be learning frim South Sudan now! They (Southern Sudanesse) are now free from their opressor, the Sudan, but they are now facing internal inter-ethnic rivalry, many are already dead!
Read their story here:
www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-africa-25459615
Biafra will only be like South Sudan if they continue staying in Nigeria longer than they've already done, fighting a second civil war and forming warlords at every district.

Right now, we have no warlords and the time is now to secede.

Biafra is not South Sudan!
PoliticsRe: Is PDP Becoming A Regional Party? by Obiagu1(m): 7:51pm On Dec 20, 2013
With the recent events, PDP is becoming a party with a major base in SE/SS/NC while APC major base is SW/NW/NE.

When you look at this geographically, it tells you a possible sharp of post-Nigeria countries when ethnic groups realign with similar groups.
FamilyRe: I Love My Husband,but I Am Loosing Trust. by Obiagu1(m): 11:59am On Dec 20, 2013
Nairanator: I do like her and all. My stance at the moment is if she feels the same, then she has to let me know. I haven't really got a game in this...infact I have ceased communication for a while. Passed through some shiz past 2 years and so not looking for a gf right now not like I haven't got options.

Her closeness to me is that she often complains when I cease communication for a while.
To make it easier for yourself, when you are with her, jokingly tell her you would have married her if she has no boyfriend.
If she wants to wave it off as a jock or wants to know if you are serious, then be more assertive and tell you are not jocking, that you are damn serious.
From that day, her attitude would change completely and she'd start looking for a way to dump the guy.
That will be the first time she'd start calling you 'hun'.

Nairanator: She's not my wife nor gf rather she has a bf and I'm the other guy

Just a lady I sort of have a very close emotional attachment to...she has a bf but she's incredibly too close to me. I'm wondering what's her game?

I hope its clear enough now at all...
Ok, you need an interpreter, I will oblige. cool

I know she is not your wife yet but she is a lady whom when you marry will make your married life very interesting for you, meaning you will be happy with her.

Good luck!
PoliticsRe: Iyabo Obasanjo: I Wrote The Letter by Obiagu1(op): 11:10am On Dec 20, 2013
GetUmad: You talked out of either sheer IGNORANCE or SENTIMENT. You obviously don't know who Iyabo is. I'll advise you don't comment on what's beyond you.
The Iyabo of a girl is in no way different from her father. So rude, uncultured and irresponsible just like him. You should go to Abeokuta and ask about her. Why do you think she was never given another mandate from her constituency?
Imagine someone defacing the whole Ogun state with bill boards that had the following inscription : " NO CHILD LIKE IYABO". The same lady that never respected the people that voted her. I was in ABK then and I heard several lamentations from the indigenes on how so uncultured she's. People of Abeokuta found that her slogan highly disrespectful. She did nothing for the constituency she represented, same way people of Ogun state never enjoyed a single benefit of havig their son as the sitting president.

My dear, don't start hyping her because you hate her father. OBJ may be manupulative in nature, but it doesn't underscore the validity of some of the issue raised in his letter. Some issues are so sacred to be ignored. Even though he lacks the moral standing.
She may be rude, after all, she is a product of OBJ.
The fact remains she loves Nigeria more than her dad. Who else comes close to that?
She vehemently objected to his 3rd term ambition when nonentities and charlatans where running around shouting 'only OBJ can rule Nigeria'.
Who else would do that except one that has the interest of the nation at heart.

Everyone has fault but her love for the nation is unquestionable and thus she deserves an award.
What she just did is not a little thing, it is not a mere letter, she just lifted a heavy load from the people.

@ the boldfaced, you can't be more correct.
I'll never in my life allow a thief to be the adjudicator over another thief. The whole scenario is unacceptable to me.
OBJ has no moral standing to comment on deeds and misdeeds of the President.
PoliticsRe: Does Iyabo Obasanjo Deserve A National Award? by Obiagu1(op): 10:55am On Dec 20, 2013
^^^

You are British educated whereas she is American educated.
You paid more attention to the quality of her letter whereas she paid more attention to impact and relevance.

Can you see the difference?
PoliticsRe: Does Iyabo Obasanjo Deserve A National Award? by Obiagu1(op):
^^^

No she chose the best moment, the moment her hypocritical dad thought he had written himself back into Nigerian political life, she dug in a dagger deep in his soul where it will hurt him well.

This is the best moment for Iyabo; she is clever.
Any other time would have made her letter not so important.

What a genus!
It's not about speaking big grammar, but about being smart!
That's why American educational system is still way ahead of the UK's and American economy and business climate more enterprising than the UK's.
America is where smartness rules not big grammar.

PoliticsRe: Hilarious Photo Of PDP To APC Exodus by Obiagu1(m): 10:06am On Dec 20, 2013
It's not about running to APC.

When Tinubu starts handpicking his favoured candidates, they will all run back to PDP but this time as bench warmers.

Left for me, I'll suggest that Iyabo Obasanjo be giving a national award.

She is now among the Great Nigerians, a place the likes of Soyinka used to be.
People that tell the truth when everyone else shies away.

I hope that gorilla, OBJ, stays away from our National life forever.

"You and your cronies mentioned in your letter have left the country worse than you met it at your births in the 1930’s and 1940’s. Nigeria is not the creation of any of you, and although you feel you own it and are “Mr Nigeria” deciding whether the country stays together or not, and who rules it; you don’t."

"Like many educated Nigerians my age, there are countries that actually value people doing their best to contribute to society and as many of them have scattered all over the world so have many of your children.
I can speak for myself and many of them; what they are running away from is that they can’t even contribute effectively at the same time as they have to deal with constant threats to their lives by miscreants the society failed to educate; deal with lack of electricity and air pollution resulting from each household generating its own electricity, and the lack of quality healthcare or education and a total lack of sense of responsibility of almost every person you meet. Your contribution to this scenario cannot be overestimated."

"You are one of those petty people who think the progress and success of another takes from you. You try to overshadow everyone around you, before you and after you. You are the prototypical “Mr. Know it all”. You’ve never said “I don’t know” on any topic, ever. Of course this means you surround yourself with idiots who will agree with you on anything and need you for financial gain and you need them for your insatiable ego. This your attitude is a reflection of the country. It is not certain which came first, your attitude seeping into the country’s psyche or the country accepting your irresponsible behavior for so long."

"Getting back to my mother, I still remember your beating her up continually when we were kids. What kids can forget that kind of violence against their mother? Your maltreatment of women is legendary. Many of your women have come out to denounce you in public but since your madness is also part of the madness of the society, it is the women that are usually ignored and mistreated. Of course, you are the great pretender, making people believe you have a good family life and a good relationship with your children but once in a while your pretence gets cracked."

“At your first inauguration in 1999, I and my brothers and sisters told you we were coming from the US. As is usual with you, you made no arrangements for our trip, instead our mom organized to meet each of us and provided accommodation. At the actual swearing-in at Eagle Square, the others decided to watch it on TV. Instead I went to the square and I was pushed and tossed by the crowd.

I managed to get in front of the crowd where I waved and shouted at you as you and General Abdulsalam Abubakar walked past to go back to the VIP seating area. I saw you mouth ‘my daughter’ to General Abdullahi who was the one who pulled me out of the crowd and gave me a seat. As I looked around I saw Stella and Stella’s family prominently seated but none of your children. I am sure General Abdullahi would remember this incident and I am eternally grateful to him."
