PoliticsRe: Is GEJ Insinuating Obasanjo Killed Murtala Mohammed? by Obiagu1(op): 4:41am On Dec 23, 2013
lorddeni: Waoh!!!

So, let me get this straight, GEJ in his puzzling ramble of a response inserts a totally defenseless statement of an event when he was, in his own words, still the shoeless teenager of Otuoke and you dumb herd just jump on the bandwagon. Do you realistically think with the Hausa-Fulani dominated officers cadre in the army back then, a counter coup wouldn't have taken place swiftlyhuh I mean, this was the army of the Babangidas, Abachas, Buharis, Gusaus as Colonels with the Danjumas and Yar'aduas higher up.

You guys might want to study the counter-coup of 1966 to begin with. You might also want to learn from that counter-coup that if Aguiyi-Ironsi had not detained the Jan '66 coupists in the East & promptly executed Nzeogwu, Ifeajuna & co as northern officers and elders were requesting, just like Obj did with Dimka, Bisalla & co, just maybe he might have been able to prevent the counter-coup by proving he wasn't trying to shield the coupists or even a suspected collaborator of the first coup in the first place.

Lawd, where is the sense of history of some of youhuh

So, middle belt mid-cadre officers with the backing of a Bisalla, who felt slighted by being overlooked in the bazaar peer promotion by Muritala & Obj after the Gowon ouster, struck to kill Muritala to prevent Obj going to jail all with the alleged knowledge of a Gowon who had only been ousted 6/7 months earlier by the same Muritala/Obj/Danjuma group he had so pampered after the war.

Jeez!!! Some people are really so gullible as to follow Jona into a ditch without thinking for a moment.

PS:

Still don't want to believe GEJ wrote that nonsense of a response. The intellect behind such a response to Obj's detailed letter can't be of someone worthy to lead a nation as diverse and complicated as this. The man couldn't even present the budget, can imagine what he will do if the house asks him to come defend the many baseless accusations he's dished out in this letter. It's like the man doesn't even realise the implications of some of the clearly baseless accusations he's made in his response. Hope he hasn't already walked into the trap of those who want to impeach him straight away with his obvious manufacturing of facts like he thinks he was replying a high-school letter.
@ the boldfaced,

That's where OBJ borrowed his script.
You know the script but failed to comprehend it.

He promptly executed them to hide the truth, then inserted a-few-months-head-of-state in our currency.
All these were for what if I may ask you?

Eziachi: Now you are telling us, just after giving him your vote on two occasions. Nice.
I never voted for OBJ.
PoliticsRe: Is GEJ Insinuating Obasanjo Killed Murtala Mohammed? by Obiagu1(op): 2:26am On Dec 23, 2013
No wonder Dimka and co were rounded up and executed so that the truth will not be known.
They could have been sentenced to jail!

Executing them was a first in Nigerian history and this was done for a reason; to hide the truth.

Dimka was a pawn that was used and disposed of.

Where was Obasanjo during the purported coup huh

PoliticsRe: Is GEJ Insinuating Obasanjo Killed Murtala Mohammed? by Obiagu1(op): 1:24am On Dec 23, 2013
It is now clear why OBJ put Murtala Mohammed in our currency when our founding fathers had not made it in any currency denomination.
This was done to becloud any suspicion that he assassinated Murtala Mohammed because he was about to face corruption charges.

PoliticsIs GEJ Insinuating Obasanjo Killed Murtala Mohammed? by Obiagu1(op): 12:54am On Dec 23, 2013
"And as you may recall, a number of Army Generals were to be retired because of corruption before the Dimka coup. Also, the late General Murtala Mohammed himself wanted to retire some top people in his cabinet on corruption-related issues before he was assassinated."

I tire for dem oo!

Their joy is fast turning to sorrow.

They didn't know that the PDP was biding their time to make sure those defections were official before they act.

donphilopus: Meaning of faction, below:
Why did you ignore the part that the court told them to stop using PDP acronym?
If nPDP is invalid, then there is nothing like nPDP, therefore there's no faction.
This is a simple logic.
PoliticsRe: Court Sacks Ondo Rep Over Defection by Obiagu1(m): 6:18pm On Dec 22, 2013
donphilopus: Was/Is nPDP not a faction?? If NO, give reasons.
No, a federal high court had already determined that there was nothing like nPDP and told them to stop using PDP acronym.

A group of would be defectors cannot wake up one morning, call themselves a name and the next day ran away from their party.
That's not a faction or division.
Stop the deceipt, there was no division with LP when the lawmaker defected. The constitution allows for switching to a different party if there is division within the lawmaker's party.
Who told you there was division in PDP?

2. INEC just refused to vacate the seats of the defecting PDP members.
1. Not very old, 2012 is not very old.

2. Is INEC a court?

How many years is it now that Biafrans have been asking to leave Nigeria, yet others refuse to accept it.

In 2050, everyone will beg Biafrans to leave.

Reason:
Biafrans will dominate every sector when corruption is curbed and fair competition returns.
Yorubas will become tenants in their states.
Igbo will be governor of Lagos.

If you can't see this, then may God have mercy on your children.

Let Biafrans leave now before it is too late!
PoliticsRe: ‘i Am A Card Carrying Member Of Pdp’, Obasanjo Tells Apc by Obiagu1(m): 1:59am On Dec 22, 2013
The APC leaders eulogised the virtues of the former president, describing him as a reference point in Nigeria’s politics.
OBJ is APC's political reference point, the one they look up to for their dream 'progressive' governance.

Sorry APC, I don't want anything that resembles OBJ is Nigerian politics ever again.

Where did you get this from or are you in shock at what is happening when that clown that speaks faster than his brain could tolerate is about to turn Imo State upside down?

Must you always distort the truth? The more one ages, the more one gains wisdom but yours seems to be the reverse.

The fracas ensued in the middle of the concert when the governor mounted the stage to announce that he spent N140million of the State’s resources to stage the concert which featured mostly foreign artistes. At that point of his speech, the angry crowd did not allow him to continue, but instead hauled missiles that forced him out of the stage; and the concert came to an abrupt end.
CelebritiesRe: JACKIE CHAN Denies Son His FORTUNE by Obiagu1(m): 8:22pm On Dec 21, 2013
Afam4eva: I can't find where Jackie Chan said he will donate to charities in Nigeria.
Foreign charities give less than 10% of all charity money to the needy. Fact!
The rest in running the charity, advertisement and CEO's and other executives' pay package.

It's all sham and corruption.

^^^

In as much as what you said is true and that Chino of a guy drives me nuts, Sincere 9gerian only said "one area I'm not impressed about in Enugu State."

He wasn't criticizing the state rather wished more is done to improve educational sector in Enugu State.
I haven't been to Enugu were I was born but I knew that 'public' education is decaying from what I enjoyed when I was in school.
I don't know the state it is in other Eastern States so can't comment.

Mimiko till date is the best performing governor in the SW.
The much criticized Uduaghan is even performing better that Fashola, a governor that seats on half of Nigerian economy.

In mere two years, APGA nearly doubled its budget in Anambra.

So is joining APC a curse?

PoliticsRe: Has Imo State Gone To The Dogs And Fast Becoming An Unproductive State? by Obiagu1(m): 7:09pm On Dec 21, 2013
Since this is Rochas' first budget since he joined APC, would it be right to say that the shrinkage in the budget was due to the mandatory tax paid to Bola Tinubu?

This is a valid question and shouldn't be ignored.
PoliticsRe: Has Imo State Gone To The Dogs And Fast Becoming An Unproductive State? by Obiagu1(m):
nedufantasy: A comparison of Imo state and Anambra state budget.
Imo state
2012 - N174.3b
2013 - N197.7b
2014 - N137b has already been proposed.
Anambra State
2012 - N82.2b
2013 - N110.94b
2014 - N140b proposed
Does this mean that Imo economy is shrinking?
I can't just believe what I'm seeing.
Compared to Anambra that had historically presented one of the lowest budgets in the East because her economy is underground as most people are businessmen that pay no tax, in Imo, they are not business people, yet they are not creating jobs to boost their economy, rather it is shrinking.
What a pity! sad

I said this before here.

Obiagu1: Something tells me that all these lies from Sanusi, Obasanjo and Tambuwal throwing tantrum has to do with this Confab not 2015.
The timing shows it is for Confab. Obasanjo writing letter and coping to Northern Ex-Presidents, Buhari meeting Obasanjo, and Obasanjo working covertly for the APC.

They are fighting their last battle, forcing their people from the North to decamp in order to get enough legislators to initiate impeachment of the President before the Confab will start. This obviously won't work!
The two regions that are perpetual parasites to this Country working hand in hand to ensure that the status quo remains.

We must restructure or disintegrate. There's no going back.
