This is a sad situation. I really don't know the way forward. Jason's position is clear, no one knows what's actually going on and who is behind this. The direction of all these is still unclear. Like OnlyTruth said, everyone should start preparing his mind that there could be war and he/she could be fighting. It could be a long war because failure this time around is not an option. |
Sadiq Oniyesaneyene Musa is a liar! If he is an Itsekiri, why should he be worried? Does he live in Hausa quarters? It's like a Yoruba Muslim peeing on his pants because Yorubas said Muslims should return to the North ![]() |

I knew it would come to this. Everything ends with the Igbo. It's sad that GEJ does no think towards liberating his people. Ijaws want freedom too! |
Ogede Ofigbo(palm oil) Ogbe(quarters) = 100% Igbo. Ogbe is not quarters but neighbourhood or community. Kedu ogbe i bi? Uwani. Idumu(I think I heard this once, not so sure tho) = Idumu sounds like Ndi umu (nna/nne) probably kindred or village. |
Beaf:I get your point. |
Beaf:LMAO U want cage them? |
This is the reason SE/SS are not protesting. Poverty in Nigeria North East = 72.2% North West = 71.2% North central = 67% South West = 43% South South = 36.1% South East = 26.7% Case closed! |
Nwannem I understand and believe when I tell you it is not doing Igbos any favour or what so ever There is protest in SW- Lagos, Oyo, Ogun NW- kano, Sokoto NE- Adamawa NC- Kwara, Abuja, Nasarawa, beune, Kogi SS- Rivers, Benin-city(edo) and bayelsa SE- Infact they support it. I don't understand It seems that SE politicians are enemy of progress and are not part of NLC (NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS) This move would greatly affect any presidential ambition for the SE 2015. FACT !!!! My brother, my advice for you is to live that SE region and travel to SS or SE or North to safe your self from the hardship to come
They used to sell fuel N140 in the SE before subsidy was removed and we didn't cry. Who are you people fooling? Now it is national so everyone should enjoy it. Welcome to Nigeria! |
20 man protest ![]() |
Gbawe:Really! Now I understand why GEJ get abused all the time. |
Yes Nigeria is on fire! Next step, operation kill all politicians, present and past ones. |
Now the dreamed division is fast becoming a possibility. |
Does it surprise anyone? When you go through NL, then you're certain to come back and say, yeah true, it's their dream to wipe the Igbo off the map. |
Akainzo:Exploration/drilling, etc is the work of the oil companies and they normally use drilling and servicing companies to do those work. It's part of their operation. I know about Nigerians 40/40/20 with the oil companies. I don't know if it has changed now though. This shouldn't even be an argument at all. There's a company, there's a shareholder, and there's a product. A company markets it product according to market prices. If prices go up, they make more profit but if the prices crash, then they may record loses. So in oil industry, the company is the oil companies like Shell, the shareholder is the government, and the product is the crude. The oil companies sell their products according to market prices. When they declare profit, they give the shareholders including the government part of their profit. If government wants to help out her citizens, then they, the government, pay part of the market price to make it affordable. This is where subsidy comes in. This is as far I can go on this. |
But government wicked oo! They waited for people to go back to their villages for Christmas and remove the fuel subsidy thereby trapping some families in the village. How are some families going to return to were they work? |
Akainzo:That's not a guarantee he knows what he's talking about because if he did say that, then he should cover his face in shame. Akainzo:Government being a part owner of an oil company does not mean that the product of the company should be sold at a different price from market prices. It's not done anywhere in the world and it's very illogical. Being a part owner means that when the company finally declares its profit, like a shareholder, the government takes his share of the profit and fck off. |
Akainzo:Unfortunately, Prof Tom David-West do not know WTF he's talking about. Government has no oil company that drills and produces oil, do they? The crude oil we export is the property/product of the oil company that explored, drilled, service, and produced them and their product is sold at an international price level. They only pay government royalty; that's how government make their money. Any country that sells PMS at a price way below $1/litre subsidises it. Name one country. Pump price is affected directly by international crude oil price any where in the world. |

samstradam:We are over 1 million people living in Abuja. They can do their job if they want to. Let there be a revolution but not about subsidy removal. Subsidy removal is essential for the survival of our economy; we don't have more to 3 years to survive with subsidy still in place. IBB is there, burn down his house and kill him. OBJ, Atiku, Tinubu, Mbadinuju, Odili, etc. We all know where they live! |
4Runner:No, Jonathan must not go, it's corruption that must go. We have no refineries, power, etc because of corruption and not because of Jonathan. If this pains you so much, use your sense and use this opportunity to force the government to make it a treasonable offence for one to steal public fund. Anyone found guilty of stealing public fund should be executed! People always leave the real issue and will be chasing shadow. |
igbo2011:That's the thing. The time we change that mentality is the time things will change. Everyone folds their hand and just pray waiting for a miracle. Don't worry, manna will fall from heaven soon, so they should pray harder. |
Now is the time for everyone to come out and fight against corruption in the government, in the senate, everywhere in Nigeria and not fight over things that are necessary like subsidy removal and forget things that are more important like corruption! |
@ Akainzo, There are some wrongful assumptions you made. (1) You assumed that the cost of exploration and production is zero (2) You assumed that the companies that explored, drilled, serviced, produced the petroleum run a charity, hence do not declare profit. (3) Nigeria has an unlimited quota hence could increase the volume of her petroleum export to offset the subsidy etc |
Wait a minute, why should the government remove subsidy only on PMS ![]() How will that help those interested in building refineries? |
toba:Liquefied petroleum gas, Butane, Petrol, Jet fuel, Kerosene, Fuel oil, Diesel, and oil tar. |
NRI PRIEST:From my experience, I think Awka town speak an entirely different dialect from everyone else. Agulu dialect is not different from that of Njikoka dialect so in essence, we might actually have just 3 dialects in Anambra: Awka(town), Nnewi, and others ![]() |
nedu210:Right, but I don't know the extent you want to break it down to. There are slight variations in every dialect so it depends on if you are talking about dialect or subdialect. |
toba:It's a case of bad policy. You can't deregulate diesel and expect refineries to be built because diesel is not refined independently. You have to deregulate to whole product that comes out of petroleum. I hope this one will not be a case of deregulating one product and leave out the other else it's complete crap. |
