ijaw_girl don come again.

I saw Fast Five yesterday at the cinemas. It was not bad. A major improvement on the Fast and Furious franchise.

Dr. Strangelove = another weird Stanley Kubrick film. It was not bad sha.

FAST FIVE (2011).
It was way better than the previous four Fast and Furious films. It had a better story and action sequences but the acting still get comma. It was worth the watch all the same. The scene after the end credits suggests there's a possibility of another installment.

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson just dey sweat throughout the film.

The Green Hornet, The American, The Last Airbender, Machete, and The Expendables sucked big time.

I just saw FAST FIVE. It's a major improvement on the Fast and Furious franchise. The story, visual effects and action sequences were much better but I felt it was a bit cheesy in some cases.

BLACK HAWK DOWN (2001). A pretty good war film about the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu by U.S. Forces to capture Somali warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid. Things didn't go smoothly as planned. I didn't like the way Africans (especially Somalis) were portrayed in this film.
A film worth watching all the same and "Battle: Los Angeles" should never be compared with this movie.

You really hate Forrest Gump.
You feel like flogging members of the Oscars board for giving 'Forrest Gump' Best Picture ahead of 'Pulp Fiction'. 'Pulp Fiction' was magnificent.

Forrest Gump was good but Schindler's List was the BOMB.

I just saw THOR today. It was pretty good but I won't say it was great. Loved the humor and some of the action sequences especially the ones with Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) and his hammer (Mjolnir). Loki (played by Tom Hiddleston) is another character worth mentioning. I'll give it a 79% rating.

So, the next superhero movies to watch this summer are:

- X-Men: First Class (June 3 2011)

- Green Lantern (June 17 2011)

- Captain America: The First Avenger (July 22 2011)

Nice one.
A good film with great performances from Hilary Swank, Sam Rockwell and Melissa Reo. Even though its based on a true story, I felt it didn't have a enough driving force to make it more captivating.
Conviction gets a 70% or 7/10 rating from me sha.

I AM NUMBER FOUR   it reminded me of a wack 1980s sci-fi film with a mixture of Twilight. I only liked the school hallway and canteen fight scenes. Every other thing from the story to the acting was wack. Very forgettable movie.
