@iice I'll check it out. ![]() @topic X-Men: The Last Stand (2006) ![]() |
Vieira:@Vieira It's the same film. Common, James Franco and Mila Kunis are also in it. |
iice:@iice I'm sure it was better than Green Lantern: First Flight. |
iice:@iice No mention those AVPs abeg. Loads of crap. Eyama. ![]() |
iice:@iice The first one is still the best. Predators (2010) no try at all. ![]() |
The topic already exists: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-675718.0.html |
iice:@iice Michael Fassbender (Magneto) and James McAvoy (Charles Xavier) stole the whole show. |
@StarBoard Star Wars Ep. IV: A New Hope (1977) and Star Wars Ep. V: The Empire Strikes Back (1980) are still my favourite Star Wars films. Star Wars Ep. VI: Return of the Jedi (1983) and Star Wars Ep. III: Revenge of the Sith (2005) were just ok. ![]() Phantom Menace sucked. ![]() |
@Ogaga4Luv It reminded me of 'Transformers 2' and 'The Last Airbender'. Despite all the negative reviews, they were still commercially successful worldwide. ![]() |
Ogaga4Luv:@Ogaga4Luv ![]() It's not all the time commercial success translates to good film. The franchise has a huge fanbase anyway. I'll still check it out whenever it starts showing in Nigerian cinemas. |
@teeluv 'X-Men: The Last Stand' and 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' have always been craps. I know that already. |
@teeluv Magneto was cool. I also liked how Prof. Xavier's powers were further explored in the film. So, 'X2: X-Men United' (2003) and 'X-Men: First Class' (2011) are my favourite X-Men films so far. |
@teeluv I saw 'X-Men: First Class' today. It was way better than 'X-Men: The Last Stand' and 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine'. It's a good film worth watching despite some loopholes. Michael Fassbender was cool as Magneto. |
semid4lyfe:@semid4lyfe 'The Way Back' is a 2010 film. ![]() |
@ceasyc Se7en was cool. ![]() |
@Mr Murdah I still prefer the first Matrix movie. Matrix Reloaded was ok but Matrix Revolutions sucked. |
@iice SUPER 8 debuts at UK cinemas in August. Why? ![]() @topic That word 'upcoming' is big because I have a lot I'm anticipating to see both this year and next year. I'll list some anyway: 2011 - Super 8 - Green Lantern - Transformers: Dark of the Moon - Captain America - The First Avenger - Cowboys and Aliens - The Adventures of Tintin - Secret of the Unicorn . . . More coming soon 2012 - The Amazing Spider-Man - Superman- The Man of Steel - The Dark Knight Rises - John Carter of Mars - The Hobbit part 1 Let me just stop here for now. |
Vieira:@Vieira Yeah! The fight scenes between Spider-Man and Dr. Octopus in Spiderman 2 were awesome. ![]() I loved that Nightcrawler scene in X-Men 2 as well. |
@Mr Murdah I enjoyed watching both 'The Godfather' (1972) and 'The Godfather' part II (1974). |
- X2: X-Men United (2003). The best in the X-Men film franchise so far. I haven't seen X-Men: First Class yet though. - The Dark Knight (2008). The sequel to Batman Begins. Even though I like Batman Begins, I still feel TDK is a major improvement on the previous film. - Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). It's better than Terminator 3 and Terminator Salvation. - Spiderman 2 (2004) - Aliens (1986) - The direct sequel to the classic 1979 Ridley Scott film Alien. Very nice. |
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides has made $806 million worldwide so far. But the reviews so far are not encouraging at all. |
@eghost247 and v3 I've seen Kung Fu Panda (2008). It was pretty good. I'll be checking out Kung Fu Panda 2 soon and I'm hoping it will be as good as the first one or even better. |
eghost247:@eghost247 Part 1 or Part 2? ![]() |
@ijaw_girl The first Star Wars film came out in 1977. ![]() @Ogaga4Luv The older Star Wars films (1977 - 1983) were much better than the recent ones (1999 - 2005). |
@Ogaga4Luv I enjoyed 'Spirited Away' as well. My favorite Hayao Miyazaki film. ![]() |
iice:@iice How about the toilet scene?? |
iice:@iice I agree. Give me hi-5 jare. ![]() |
@v3 "3 Idiots" was good. Go and see it. |
@Emmz PRIEST is another example of what I call film torture. Absolute waste of time. ![]() |
Vieira:@Vieira ![]() @iice The next MK Legacy episode will be about Cyrax and Sektor. I think that will be the last episode for the season. |
@iice and teeluv 'Dear John' = film torture ![]() |
