@iice
The mixed reviews are from both critics and movie-goers. I'm not going to mention any critic's name but its more like 50% positive and 50% negative reviews.
Anyway, I'm still checking it out next week when it premieres in Nigerian cinemas.

@iice and ijaw_girl
Pirates of the Caribbean - On Stranger Tides has been getting mixed reviews on the internet lately.
I still check it out hopefully by next weekend.

Here are the new U.S. release dates for the following films:

TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON - June 29 2011

COLOMBIANA - August 28 2011

HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 1 (2010)

Darthmaul:
@obinna5000
I knw dat but It is obvious Cobb is in a dream @ d end of the movie. Maybe he is still dreaming and dats what his wife is trying to tell him. Maybe she was rite.

@Darthmaul
That scene was Cobb's dream level. The scene where Cobb and Ariadne meets Mal towards the end of the movie. They were trying to get Fischer whom Mal killed in the previous dream level. Mal tells Cobb the only way to get Fischer is if he agrees to stay with her.

But if you're trying to talk about the end sequence with the totem spinning to know whether Cobb made it to the real world or still in a state dream, keep guessing. But I'm sure he must have made it to the real world.

I thought INCEPTION had been talked about earlier on this thread.

Check out this quote from JUSTKUNMI earlier on this thread. My thoughts exactly.

And remember a scene after Leo and his crew tried getting the info from some guy, Leo went to the bathroom, splashed some water on his face and brought out his totem to spin. . .to see if
he was in a dream or not. . But sadly/happily, he was interrupted and he quickly hid the totem. .
My guess is, that was all a
dream. .

Christopher Nolan is the bomb.

Emmz:
Obinna are you serious bout brothers n sisters getting cancelled? but why? dats kinda sad. As per The Event, i said dey were wasting too much time not showing us what the Aliens are capable of doing. Now thats d 2nd series starring Blair Underwood getting cancalled. Dats not good 4 his career.

@Emmz
'BROTHERS AND SISTERS' and 'THE EVENT' got cancelled. So, no new seasons from those shows. Its a pity.

Other cancelled shows are:
HUMAN TARGET
LIE TO ME
V
CAPRICA
BREAKING IN

Nairaland!!

@Ogaga4Luv
I remember watching NORTH BY NORTHWEST on TCM. It was cool.

A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET (1984)

This is the same person who said the world will end on Sept. 6 1994. Now he's saying it's May 21 2011. Funny.

Da Doctor:
Yet another prohecy that will fail.
only God knows when the world will come to an end.

@Ogaga4Luv
Seen.

@Darthmaul
Its been long since I saw Mad_Max in NL.

Marion Cotillard's character is just a projection in Leo's dreams. She use to be Leo's wife in the real world before she committed suicide thinking she was still in a dream.

Ogaga4Luv:
[sup]Too long, too dark, too talky, too arty. Orson Welles was a ponderous, overrated bore, the cinematic equivalent of William Faulknerhttps://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m360/Ogaga4Luv007/Smileys/17-1.gif

@Ogaga4Luv of Nairaland

How do I get the smileys?

@Ogaga4Luv
Funny enough, Citizen Kane and 2001 have massive critical acclaims. Lots of positive reviews.

I like your smileys.

Ogaga4Luv:
^{But you keep sleeping right? https://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m360/Ogaga4Luv007/Smileys/18.gif}

@Ogaga4Luv
No be small thing.

Citizen Kane + 2001: A Space Odyssey = classic Sleep inducing films

semid4lyfe:
[i]Shey dem take old movies swear for Ogaga?

@semid4lyfe
There's nothing wrong in watching old films.

@Vieira
I managed to watch 2001 to the very end. Too slow paced if you ask me.

THE LINCOLN LAWYER (2011)

Ogaga4Luv:
^{I didn't enjoy this movie friend. . . i slept off}

@Ogaga4Luv
I know. Its the kind of that makes you enter sleep mode. I tried my best to stay awake.

@Ogaga4Luv
I have mixed feelings for this CITIZEN KANE. I had the same feeling when watching 2001 - A Space Odyssey. One just has to be patient when watching it.

@Eshyy
The movie is called 'Inception' and not 'The Inception'.

iice:
Torrent it or use fileserve/megaupload/4shared etc

@iice
Yes

@femi4
After watching season 2, there'll be no need to ask for a season 3 because the show has been canceled.

@semid4lyfe
You bad o! FAST FIVE was not bad anyway. You might like it when you eventually see it.

THE KING'S SPEECH was good and BLACK SWAN was weird but still good.

@ijaw_girl
The Rock was just sweating throughout the film.

SPOILER ALERT
Can someone tell me how they managed to interchange the real safe with the fake one at that last car chase sequence?

HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN (2011)

This movie should have been called Bozo with a Shotgun. There was absolutely nothing I liked about this exploitation movie.

I'll give it a 0% rating.

da student:
That reminds me,i almost poo my pants laughing when stan lee in his usual marvel comic movie cameos tried to pull the meow meow as natalie portman's friend called it (lol "thor's hammer" with a pick up truck.

@da student
So, how is that related to Dr. Strangelove?

@da student
I've seen THOR.

THE EVENT, CAPRICA and LAW & ORDER: LOS ANGELES joins the list of canceled TV series.

iice:
Yessss. Thank goodness i didn't see it in 3D
