No...it is lack of sense. Why would you put a generator in closed environment if you know what threat it poses. I never sleep with my generator over night. Even when they made use of the radiometric age-dating experiment, they(scientists) made it clear it's difficult to determine the exact age of the earth. What if the foundation of the experiment is wrong? Another calculation will be done.

Of course they have to give us an answer and fix it at 4.5 billion to avoid too much questions.
