For the account opening I suggest you use a laptop. But if you can't then use chrome browser on your phone. You don't need to visit the embassy after your registration. What you have to upload are a scanned page of your passport data page . And a selfie picture holding your passport by the side of your head. To finitba.

Gurus in the house I hail una all. I have really learnt so much here. Pls I tried using my phone to open a fintiba account I couldn't. Most one use a laptop to do that and do I need to send or visit d embassy after my online registration?

I am still making research on schools that teach using English.. I wanted to apply to 3 school and about 6 programs. too much abi, I no wan take chances ooo..lolz

Yess but seems I will put in for another Msc summer next year if PhD don't work out till end of this year.. For some PhDs your are paid so you don't need a block account. but if you are not paid or on scholarship you need the block account..

Sir, I opened a block account with x-patrio because it seems easier and I am at the stage of funding but my concern is that at x-patrio, I have to fund my account to a foreign name instead of the name I used in opening the account. Should I go ahead? I have also opened an account with fintiba. I have done the picture verification but I havn't gotten my account details. What proof concerning block account should I present to the German embassy tomorrow or what's your suggestion. Thanks alot Sir.

they are similar depending on what you want.... with one you can go further in PHD studies while in the other you can't. One is practice oriented while the other is research base

Just forget about studying with German, if you are going for Msc. don't try it.

And getting the DSH certificate takes a minimum of 6 months in Germany, assuming you already have a B1 or B2 from Nigeria.

someone I know personally got admitted for PHD last year's summer... he's been In Germany since then. You need to get a program supervisor... who most time will want your propose research to be inaccordance with the one on going in his school or the one he is a part of... search thoroughly you will find
