[font=Lucida Sans Unicode]Police have confirmed that the second Boston bombing suspect Dzhokar A. Tsarnaev, is alive and in custody after a standoff in Watertown district.

A local CBS TV station cited Boston's MayorThomas Menino on Friday as saying a man believed to be the suspect was surrounded in Watertown.

Reuters news agency reports that according to state police, Tsarnaev is bleeding, in serious condidtion and is being taken to Massachusetts General Hospital.

Al Jazeera's correspondent, Alan Fisher, reporting from Boston, said the FBI had been alerted to a "trail of blood", with conflicting reports that a suspect has been pinned down.

A local woman contacted the authorities, said Fisher, having noted that her shed door, where she stores a boat, was open, and saw what she though were pools of blood.

Our correspondent said that shots had been heard being fired in Watertown and that police have been telling people "stay down and stay away from windows".

Just hours earlier, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick lifted a stay-in-place order for Boston has been lifted and mass transit reopened while police pressed ahead with a manhunt for the second suspect in the Boston Marathon bombing.

Massachusetts State Police Colonel Timothy Alben told reporters at a joint press conference on Friday that authorities are committed to seeing resolution of the Boston Marathon bombing case.

Watertown a 'warzone'

"It is like living in a warzone. You have to be concerned for your family," said Gerson.

Earlier, investigators were searching "door-to-door, street-to-street" in Watertown, and had searched about 60 per cent of the homes so far.

Police said they would conduct a "controlled explosion" in Cambridge, Massachusetts, later on Friday as part of their investigation into the Boston Marathon bombings, Alben said.

The move was being taken "out of an abundance of caution" to protect officers conducting a search of a building, he said.

A national security official identified the hunted man as Dzhokar A. Tsarnaev, 19, and said the dead suspect was his brother, Tamerlan Tsarneav, 26.

An uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, who lives in a Washington suburb, told The Associated Press that the men lived together and had been in the United States for about a decade.

They came from a region near Chechnya that has been plagued by an insurgency related to a separatist war.

The suspects' father told the AP his younger son was a second-year medical student and described him as "a true angel."

On Thursday night, a university police officer was killed, a transit police officer was wounded, and the suspects carjacked a vehicle before leading police on a chase that resulted in the first suspect being shot dead.

Following the developments in the night, police cordoned off the suburb of Watertown and told residents not to leave their homes or answer the door as officers in combat uniforms carrying rifles scoured a 20-block area.

Public transportation throughout the metropolitan area was suspended, and air space was restricted. Universities including Harvard and MIT and public schools were closed.

'A terrorist'

Police were searching for the younger Tsarnaev, previously known only as Suspect 2, who was shown wearing a white cap in surveillance pictures taken shortly before Monday's explosions and released by the FBI on Thursday.

"We believe this to be a terrorist," said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis of the suspect still at large. "We believe this to be a man who has come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody."

The older brother, previously known as Suspect 1, who was seen wearing a dark cap and sunglasses in the FBI images, was pronounced dead.

The FBI on Thursday identified the men as suspects in the twin blasts believed caused by bombs in pressure cookers placed inside backpacks left near the finish line of Monday's Boston Marathon.

I received a mail from Wunmi Allen a few days ago indicating that the vehicle had safely arrived Nigeria along with evidence. However, the buyer is yet to inspect and pay for the said vehicle as he is out of town for the next two weeks. She has requested for more time to accommodate for this lapse. I intend to see out this incident to its logical conclusion.

i don't believe this News a bit, i have google for teavelodge in Surrey where i used live and nothing of such, also i think there are three branches of Travelodge in surrey,one in Guildford, one in Camberley and the one in firmley, so the news should be specify of which branch of travelodge.Also there is no hotel hallways that don't have a cctv in place, so this News is shady in a way.

I urge u to share this story especially to d younger ones. Last Thursday 19th July, 2012 was a horrifying day in Lagos. Lion Building Police Station area was where I parked my car on that day. It was there I gathered this story that has kept me in awe.

Four JSS 3 students of a nearby secondary school chattered a “Keke Marwa” tricycle to Ajah. They told d driver to wait for them. While one of them stayed in d vehicle, d other three went into a nearby house.
Shortly afterwards, two of then came out & when d driver queried, he was told that d fourth guy is with their teacher, & that he is d teacher's favourite.

As they drove off d driver noticed that they were looking into a black nylon bag that they just brought with them from d said teacher's place. He then noticed that this bag was full of money! When he probed, they said it was for them to deliver an errand. D driver didn’t let them know that he already suspected them but just drove them close to d Lion Building - which was on their way back. He excused himself to urinate: but went to alert d police & got d boys apprehended.

D boys quickly confessed that they went to deliver their classmate to a buyer who offered them money. On getting to d drop site said to be d teacher's house, d only thing they found was d dead body of d fourth boy with his head & genitals already cut off.

Sounds unreal? Yes, that was how I felt too when I heard d news. This is not a gist, it is a bad news that is worth worrying about what is becoming of our society. Perhaps, stories like this have been heard of in d past, but what makes this peculiar & somewhat alarming is d fact that they are JSS 3 STUDENTS!

i am sorry to say but this house agents are all bloody thievies, tout and liars both male and female that does this job. I have dealt with 5 of them after paying each of them a range of 1k-2k to help me with the search and after telling them what i need, they just come back showing things below standard and asking if i could extend my budget and then they wil get me extactly what i am asking for. when i do extend my budget it is still the same sub-standard structures they end up showing me.And the part of them flashing you after you have given them money for recharge card is very annoying.in fact at times when you see them they just look rough and hungry looking, i am just tired of them all.

I met this port Harcourt Lady, we got talking and along the line she professes loving me but her recent behaviours tells a different thing. Morning all, i have stayed up almost all night trying to advice a friend but still i will seek the help of this honourable house. My friend is in a fix, he has been dating his girlfriend for close to 5 years now and he has been working toward getting married to her. Today I got slapped by a mobile police man and tears rolled down my cheek. The mobile police man asked me why I was crying and if I was not man enough to take a slap. I looked at him with my eyes as red like blood and my rage like that of a raging bull, my thoughts was filled with a lot of imaginations which I could not carry out, for fear of a man with a gun.

I said to my inner self if only he could put away the gun and let’s take it knuckle to knuckle, fist to fist, I know for sure he might win the fight due to the years of training he had, but I will make sure I put an indelible mark or scar on him, so that whenever he sees that mark he will remember it was not an easy encounter, but the reality is that it would not happen.

Today I was slapped by a mobile police man and I felt weak, powerless, and voiceless because the one who is meant to protect me from bodily harm is the one inflicting it. I live in a society where you do not have a voice, human rights are constantly abused, the once that does it feels they are above the law and if you dare to challenge him, you might either get shot or branded an arm robber. You might call my action cowardly but it is applying wisdom in a society where human rights are not been observed.

Until justice finds it way into my society I will only die in my silence and wish for a day I will have my fair chance or opportunity to see the man that slapped me pay for his injustice.
