I think the security agents have to call for a truce given that they are worst hit .
Each police or soldier killed leaves behind children, widow and other dependants not to talk about the resources spent by the state in training them. While the miscreants are mostly born throway with no family and nobody to mourn them if they are killed
I know two police victims of unknown gunmen who are both related to me.
One was killed about 3 years ago in Anambra state leaving behind 3 kids and a young wife
The second was killed last month in Enugu state living behind 4 kids who are now orphaned having lost their mother earlier and yet to be buried .

I know the agony the family of the guy killed about 3 years ago went through over his loss and also the agony and pains the family of the one killed recently who happened to be a second cousin to me are passing through , infact we are currently discussing how to make sure that the children continues their education.

If this killings doesn't effect your close relation, you won't understand how serious it is. Since it is clear that these people can not protect themselves, the best option is to call for a truce but I doubt if this clueless government will think in that direction.

So if this bill scales through , what will be the fate of Hope Uzodimma ?
Will he resign and contest again as the governor of Orlu state or automatically become the governor of the new state without election or continue to be the governor of imo state even though he is no longer from the state ?

Personally I don't support additional state in south east, we should make do with what we have, if their is to be parity, Anioma state should be created and made to be in south east

Abia is not even among top 10 by expenditure in the body of the report but as usual, the propaganda champs have to spotlight the state.

I think there is an undeclared war against Abia state government by Yoruba media and other federal government agency due to the transformation going on in that state.
You need to read punch newspaper's editorial concerning the Aba killing to understand what I mean.

That is a whole lot of money and had more value than whatever they are receiving today in their respective positions.

Note, that 14k can buy two new brand 504 pegeot in 1979 and there will still be enough change but today not even the statutory monthly salary of the president can buy any brand new car

So definitely politicians of those days were paid better than the current ones
