This is the Stockholm syndrome afflictions the wicked politicians in Nigeria love. You don't expect a man whose entire life is nothing but all shade of criminality to use government to do you good. Election has consequences. Live with your choice.
Senator Abiru of Lagos also shared food packages to his constituency yesterday as part of his constituency project.
The news is in yesterday punch, pls search for it and Post it here so we can deliberate on it.

PoliticsRe: I Must Not Be Igbo To Choose Peter Obi, Frank Edoho To Online Troll by Objectivist04: 1:15pm On Jun 17, 2024
Okoroawusa:
Let's stop fooling ourselves on this matter. Frank as well as others like in their hearts know that 98% of Peter Obi's supporters are Igbos and former Nnamdi Kanu disciples. He is a minority in that group. If he feels I am lying let him dare hold a contrary view different from the group tomorrow and see whether he will survive it.

If una like abuse me from now till tomorrow about strongly holding this view I don't care. Azuanuka. Owegi iwe echerem na Upper Iweka k'anyi me ya by okpukpu aka.
So 98% of the 6.1m votes Peter Obi polled from last election came from ipob ? That is to say ipob votes were about 6m and about 28% of the entire vote cast.
I never knew that ipob has this numerical strength despite many of them boycotting the election.
PoliticsRe: Proponents Of Orlu State Don't Have Sense. Anioma Is The Ideal Option-ned Nwoko by Objectivist04: 12:59pm On Jun 17, 2024
Ezewuzie01:
The demand for Anioma State predates the creation of Old Bendel State, Edo State, Delta State, and even the Niger Delta and South-South geopolitical zones.

We have all the necessary resources to become a state. The agitation for Anioma State has been ongoing for over 30 years. Creating Orlu State doesn’t make sense. It’s like someone needing six fingers but, instead of finding the missing finger, he cut off one of his existing five fingers to make six. That doesn’t make sense.

What we need is Anioma State, not Orlu State.

- Senator Prince Ned Nwoko
I support him on this,
A south east anioma state will give igbos and of course south east region more clout in this country.
It means more population, more land mass and of course more voting power

Proponents of orlu state are dumb

Edo will not vote pdp after the failure of obaseki.
Tinubu's failure is more epic than that of Obaseki, Edolites are not buying beans 500 naira per cup because of Obaseki neither are they buying fuel 800 because Obaseki.
Obaseki is far better and more sound intellectually than Tinubu, a technocrat at that.
He remains the only person to warn Buharis administration against the danger of printing money indiscriminately, where was Tinubu and other APC then ?
I will be disappointed is APC gets up to 100k votes in Edo
FoodRe: Eid Day: See How We Barbecue Rams In Birnin Kebbi by Objectivist04: 8:21pm On Jun 16, 2024
The way Muslims slaughter ram during Eid makes me wonder why the population of rams has not declined given that it is not a high breeding animal like pigs, a sheep pregnancy lasts for 9 months with mostly single birth and twins in few occasions.
Also note that each of the pilgrims must also slaughter a ram and that is about 1.8m rams for the pilgrims alone and because of that Saudi have shortage of rams and have to import from other countries.

EnEnPeecee:
The president in the presence of the press told the whole world that he intends to continue from where useless buhari stopped from. He did not tell us then that he will be inheriting a dead economy. Even if the economy is dead as the idiot puts it, is it my business to fix it? Did he not campaigned that he will fix economy as shetima look into security?

These rogues in the APC are taking us for a fool. Useless people
My annoyance is that he did not only made the continuity comment while contesting, else I would have said he wanted to enjoy Buharis support but he made the comment as a candidate, repeated it as a president elect and have made the comment more than once as an incumbent president.
Only to come back to blame the past administration whenever it suits him.

This is really annoying
PoliticsRe: I Will Sweep Edo APC Guber Candidate Into Office Says Oshiomhole by Objectivist04: 6:09pm On Jun 16, 2024
You mean edolite will vote APC upon this hardship ? If you think Tinubu's choking policy will not adversely affect APC candidates at sub national levels , then you are deceiving yourself. Nigerians are not zombie
Even if PDP campaigns well, they might take Ondo just that PDP is a useless opposition that doesn't know how to take advantage.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Inherited Dead Economy – Presidency Replies New York Times by Objectivist04: 5:44pm On Jun 16, 2024
Tinubu is displaying the double faced nature of average Yoruba man.
You supported the last government, never disagreed with them in any of their policy even for one day and even told anybody that cares to listen that you will continue from where the administration stops only for you to turn back and tell us that they are the course of our dwindling economy.

Each time this man meets with Buhari he kept ensuring him that he is continuing from where he stops.
I don't understand if he thinks that everyone is like his daft supporters that can not think for themselves.
It is clear that APC has failed this country.
APC blaming APC. Very pathetic.

New York times was very wrong, this is not the worst economy in a generation but in the history of this country.
You can't imagine a cup of beans is 500 naira while a cup of rice goes for 400 naira .
All these and Nigerians are keeping quiet, I wonder if what triggered the Arab spring is half as worse as what we are currently going through in this country.

1 big live turkey or 3 big chickens is better than the 2 rams. This is baby ram, and you won't even enjoy eating it. embarassed embarassed
Their gods don't accept bird sacrifice, it is either ram ( the most preferd ) or camel or cow and it must be of certain age and above and also must be slaughtered at a specific time.
Don't think it is like christian festival where you buy your prefered animal and kill it any time you want.

The difference here is that in Christendom, you are killing the animals for your own personal enjoyment and not as a sacrifice to any god but in their case they are sacrificing these animals to their god , the god take the blood while they take the flesh.

So why celebrating this guy from that region since he announced that he is relocating his 2×2 shop to your enclave.

What happens to go back to your state,
What happens to go and develope your region ?
By the way his people are not angry because he relocated but their anger is due to the reason he gave for his relocation.

Now we are seeing high caliber expatriates being kidnapped in the so call safe Lagos and l wonder what will be the fate of lower humans like cubana Chief priest

gidigbam1:
The Lagos State government and the compol Lagos, must throw in everything they have to rescue this man, and apprehend the kidnappers. They must bring in all man power machines equipment helicopters drone etc to make sure the man is rescued with no ransom paid. If they do, it will send a clear message to wanna be kidnappers that if you attempt such in Lagos, you will be caught, and such incidents will not occur again. Have you guys ever wondered why they are not kidnapping in Ghana? It is because the number of times they attempted it there, the government threw in everything they had and ensured that they were all arrested and that was why it didn't spread. If the government of Nigeria under Jonathan had done the same as well, and put in everything they had to nip this in bud at the initial stage, we wouldn't have had copycats who are emboldened to start theirs as a result of successes of others and the eventual spread. If they fail to rescue him intact, without paying a dime it is woe to Lagos, as other kidnappers will start targeting people in the city.
I don't understand your last sentence, are you saying that their was no kidnaping in Lagos before ?

PoliticsRe: Tinubu And 10 Other World Leaders Who Fell During Public Ceremonies by Objectivist04: 7:53pm On Jun 13, 2024
paulwelj:
Social media was sent into a frenzy on Wednesday after President Bola Tinubu, slipped while boarding the parade vehicle at the venue of the 2024 Democracy Day celebration.
The President, however, quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings without further issues.

In this article, 10 other world leaders aside from Tinubu, who had a momentary fall during a public ceremony have been highlighted.

1. President Joe Biden: In March 2021, United States President, Joe Biden tripped on Air Force One stairs while scaling the steps to Air Force One to Atlanta to meet with Asian-American community leaders on a massacre.

2. Robert Mugabe: In February 2015, Zimbabwe’s 90-year-old President Robert Mugabe fell down a staircase as he walked off a podium after addressing supporters at Harare International Airport.

3. President Gerald Ford: Former President of the United States, Gerald Ford, slipped on Air Force One in 1975 while visiting Vienna in Austria for talks with Egyptian President Anwar Sada.

4. Cuba leader, Fidel Castro: Cuban leader, Fidel Castro, in October 2004, fell off the stage in Santa Clara, Cuba. Castro broke his knee and arm in the fall.

5. Barack Obama: In March 2015, former US President, Barack Obama came close to falling down the steps of Air Force One. Obama was returning to Washington DC from a golfing trip in Florida when he bounded from the plane door only to lose his footing. He recovered and continued across the tarmac with the same spring in his step.

6. Mike Pence: In June 2020, Vice President Mike Pence had a moment remarkably similar to President Biden’s upward slip. Pence was filmed running, then tripping, up the staircase of Air Force Two.

7. Tommy Tuberville: In October 2023, Senator Tommy Tuberville, who has previously criticised President Joe Biden for falling in public view, was mocked online after a video showing him falling down a flight of plane stairs himself went viral.

8. Hillary Clinton: The then-Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in 2011, was boarding a plane to Yemen when she slipped to her knees at the doorway and was only saved from further embarrassment when an aide gave her a helping hand.

9. Vladimir Putin: The Russian leader who loves to display his aura, saw himself on the floor during a 2019 hockey game he played in. He was doing a victory lap around Sochi’s Bolshoy Ice Dome and applauding fans when he slammed on the floor.

10. Boris Johnson: The former United Kingdom prime minister, was a victim of an epic fall after he tripped and landed on the floor during a charity tug-of-war game at a World War I commemoration event with Britain’s armed forces in 2015.

Did Fidel Castro fell twice because the one I watched was around 2005 or2006 but certainly not 2004, he was walking with other officials when he suddenly stumbled and fell flat .
That was shortly before he handed over to his younger brother .

I have lived in the north and I have seen many evils.
First of all you can hardly see an unmarried Hausa or Fulani girl pregnant or with a baby but it is obvious that they engage in premarital sex and you begin to ask how comes.

Well it all boils down to their evil religion, Islam frowns at birth outside wedlock so when these people get pregnant, they will not waste time to abort it using local herb and in few cases orthodox means but in few cases like the one on this thread where the foetus proves stubborn, they will wait for it at the point of birth and strangle it immediately it comes out.

This people are evil and heartless.

That is the reason you will live in the north for years without seeing a single child born out of wedlock or even a pregnant single lady.

It is not because they are chaste, far from that but because they eliminate the child either in the womb or at the point of birth and that is what the lady in the story just did

Note that such child is called Dan shege in Hausa language meaning " bastard child"
