OkpaNsukkaisBae:. Exactly, Sullivan set the standard but unfortunately Ugwuanyi and now Mba is taking us back |
I thought this topic made front page yesterday, why today again ? |
Digitron:We are still saying the same thing, I am not against the Smart school but what l am against is waisting our scarce resources while there are many existing schools with no pupil, a particular secondary primary school has more infrastructure than most secondary schools, so why not use such for the ward by just carrying out minor renovation (since Ugwuanyi renovated most of the schools ) and equip them . Peter Obi revolutionized primary and secondary education in Anambra without building a single school from the scratch. What he did was to upgrade what he met on ground by way of renovation, equipment and coming up with relevant policies . For me Smart school and new enugu city are the most useless projects of this Mba administration . |
helinues:Are you saying that Buhari could have saved a man accused of corruption but we were told by you guys that Buhari is the most honest Nigerian ever, Mr integrity in the mud ![]() |
IamANigerianMan:. I understand where your confusion is coming from, you think that any good looking and fresh person is Igbo but you are wrong as there are few of such from other tribes and the lady happened to be one from middle belt |
Digitron:Smart school is least of our problems in this state, why not make the existing schools smart instead of waisting money to construct new schools, For example there are about 10 government owned primary schools in my ward and none has up to 100 pupils as most parents send their wards to private schools , why not convert one of the schools to smart school ? As for water, I put it to you that the work done so far is less than 50% l don't see some parts of Nike getting water even in the next two years. |
IfnobeGod20:Note that there is no zoning at the federal level, the only place the nonsense is going on are in some states, zoning I repeat again breeds mediocrity and nepotism , that's why every governor under zoning focuses on his local government, while those in other local governments will keep quiet, waiting for their turn. If we are serious with ourselves, a person form my LGA or senatorial zone doesn't need to be a governor before my zone or LGA could experience good governance. Only credible electoral system will solve our problems in this country. |
OfficialAPCNig:I am saying this because covering of drainages is done at the prelim stage, just immediately after casting the drainage but here work has advanced to laying of asphalt and the drainage is still open. |
mekuso89:You are asking an islamist to reason ? A waste of time |
Lanre1st:It all boils down to degree of friendship. After UK, isreal is the next close ally to US ,. You can't also rule religion out of it. |
oilykid:Again, the few projects he has completed comes in substandard manner, no reputable construction company is handling any road in Enugu. Mba was handed over a better governed state compared to Otti but while Otti hit the ground running, Mba became confused. I always fear any bleaching governor, like Mba like uzodimma like Dapo Abiodun |
IfnobeGod20:Development above sense of belonging, zoning has done more harm than good. It is zoning that makes the people to overlook someone that failed in his first tenure because they want him to complete his zones slot so it can go to another zone. During the last election, I supported Ike Ekweremadu trying to disrupt the zoning arrangement in enugu state, zoning breeds mediocrity For me once the slot has gone round, it should be thrown open, we can't continue to condone incompetence just because we don't want to "shortchange" a particular zone or because we don't want a particular zone to rule for 12 years. . democracy should be about good leadership instead of sense of belonging. |
oilykid:Defending this man will be difficult, he promised 10000kms of road in 8 years and that is 1250kms per year but as I am typing, no major road is under construction in Enugu state. When he was campaigning and in his victory speech, he kept mentioning about dualization of Nike road bus as I am typing, that road is deteriorating because he couldn't even patch it as Gburugburu used to do every December. He also talked about dualizing Abakalili road from emene flyover to Ebonyi boundary, what about the double lane he promised to construct from enugu to ehamufu in isiuzo. By next month his administration will clock 1 year but unfortunately he will have nothing to show. Total road done in one year less than 100km . A lot of his projects are abandoned, I just pray we don't miss Gburugburu |

mobisonkk2:Thank you, this is the real substandard road going on in south west, just look at the road and the environment. Lagos really covered una nyash
|
IfnobeGod20:There will be no meaningful development at the state level until we abolish zoning |
IfnobeGod20:No I just wanted to show him how brown roof republic looks not few brown roofs here and there. |
FatherOfJesus:Honestly the road doesn't look like 6 lanes to me, it looks smaller and I have been wondering because everybody keeps saying 6 lanes. |
OfficialAPCNig:But it seems they are doing open drainage even with such amount |
Laple0541:You can now go and celebrate but when we talk about brown roof, this is what we mean
|
softy:Eziagu is not along enugu markurdi road, you people will just open your mouth wide without knowing what you are saying, Eziagu lies along enugu Onitsha express road deep in the heart of igboland between enugu and Anambra state. Eziagu has no boundary with kogi and have no cultural relationship with igala , even the name eziagu is pure Igbo and every Igbo man can tell you the meaning. |
kellyJames5:. Ok, thanks for the clarification but are their igalas within nsukka local government ? |
melodyogonna:ESWAMA collects levy from Abakpa residents and shop owners but they don't operate in the area and still nobody asks questions. The injustice in this country no be here |
garfield1:The name is Ette ward 1 and 2 Nsukka lga has no boundary with kogi state, so how can they have igala The Three LGAs that have boundary with kogi are uzo uwani , Igbo Eze south and igbo Eze North,. The kogites that live at the boundary area with each of these LGAs speak Igbo and that is why some igbos believe there are igbos in kogi state . Only Igbo Eze North have none Igbo speaking tribe within her border and they speak idoma but bounded with kogi/igala community call ogwugwu. Igbo is not widely spoken in ogwugwu as other kogi tonws on the border because the idoma speaking Ette of Igbo Eze North lie between the kogi igalas and the igbos. |
garfield1:There is no igala in Enugu state, what we have in enugu is ldoma speaking people in Ette Igbo Eze North local government and they are not more than 30k . They make up two electoral wards out of the 20 wards in the local government |
So Nigerian Police can not arrest Yahaya Bello ryt , we have now reduced the military to arresting an individual and when civilians started using them for shooting practice, everybody will start crying |
Racoon:I have said it somewhere that if Buhari is to be the president, nobody would have dared arrest Yahaya bello , I believe Tinubu is giving EFCC free hands to do their job |
Most of the victims are men ? This is just a recruitment exercise going on, nothing much. |
Now that a head is featuring prominently in the new Osun logo , expect increased activities in skull mining in that state. |
