Don't wait to go big before going into "SOLAR".
Got a call from a friend who now eat and dine with darkness. Kids now go to the neighborhood just to charge phones and laptops. Cost of running generator is something else.

I had to install a 190w pv, 12v 24ah lithium ion(about 300wh) and a 20a mppt cc. As small as it is, all 6 to 8 phones, 3 laptops, a router etc are charged with it. He was waiting to go big but the time never comes bc the economy is getting harder each time.

Don't wait till you go 48v before you taste free freedom of energy as all it requires is just sense.
This are why sun king, beebee jump and other paygo companies thrive (I think sun King is the only company dominating most in Nigeria)

Less than 250k and you have a functional independent system.

To draw debt hard sha I no really blame Nigerian companies why no too dey put hand grin grin grin

For most plastic companies, it will require you to get a mould which is not cheap and there might be complications if it's not done properly. If you are not assembling a portable/user friendly product(handy)

PhonesRe: This Bad Habits Are Draining Your Phone Battery Life Quickly by Obnoxious2001(m): 6:10am On Oct 13, 2025
MONEY247:
So your phone battery strength starts deteriorating quickly after purchasing it just after a year or 6 months.... this bad habits are the causes

1] Overcharging: Your battery is at 100% you don't want to unplug your phone. You are indirectly causing harm to the capacity build due to overburden.... continuous practice of this bad habit can permanently destroy the battery strength.
2] Using powerbank too often: It's not a flex to connect your phone to power bank. Power bank was created for emergency not for regular usage. Powerbank batteries are limited in voltage and recycle strength from point to point when discharging power..... you harm your phone battery more when you become a regular power bank user
3] Using the wrong the charger] Your phone doesn't support fast charge, but you opted to go and buy a charger with high voltage. My guy you are slowly killing your phone battery..
Manufacturers input the best charger as regards to your phone...

4] Too much screentime] continuous usage of your phone with high screen light settings will deplete your phone battery strength quickly. Engage the 20 , 20 , 20 rule..
Use your phone for 20 minutes
Keep for 20 minutes

5]eeping your phone on a hot surface for long
This one can cause a swollen battery and might even cause 💥 explosion..

Stop this habits and get the best out your phone battery experience
You see that power bank you made mention of, you will need to prove it with evidence.

A power bank Is just a simple power supply circuit same thing with your charging block.

Only difference is one takes in Nepa light and the other uses battery.

We are waiting for your proves anyway

Please who has experience with this controller?

How do you set up the controller to charge lifepo4 battery (I want to know of I did something wrong).

Now in the image below, you can see the battery voltage is 53v but the controller is still stuck at 12v and it keep giving me 12v parameters which I have no business with.

I replaced the battery with a dry cell and connected it to it to see if it will recognise it, it worked.

Also some of the errors it keeps displaying are not in the manuals

Leave them make dem dey talk like say na everyBody be SHEEP. If not for wideSpread usage, a lot of people are so underExposed to know wetin Solar be.
During our time sef, internet never really mature enough or littered with as much content as we got today.

My first and second set of solar panels were all bought brand new BUT then, I wasn't armed with the wealth of knowledge I have today.

Once again, a lot of solar panels being sold as BRAND NEW , are Properly washed and packed USEd solar panels.

Wonder why these people dey worry themselves when even if we talk from now till next century, their customers would hardly listen to us + a lot of sales are happening offLine.

Mind you, Solar panels sef get grade and quality. Some USEd panels's output fit surpass that of some actual brand new Ones.
grin grin grin

Normally, I try to only make RESPONSEs that would be useFul to more people.

Now, He said he got 1.2 Million naira, and going by the stated Load, he would not be able to easily afford a solar setUp even with said 1.2-million naira.

Now those in our line of Business (aka solar installers) do understand USEd Solar Panels are always in demand - enter market make you see as people dey buy am like water. You go order like 30pcs think say you don buy market till you see another wey buy pass you.
Guess what, a lot of them ends up being sold as brand new.

As per why I still use Tubular and lead Acid batteries even in 2025, that's because not all of us are financially Fluid. Some people could easily raise 1.5-million naira and should anythng go wrong, can raise same or more almost immediately.
Then there are those of us that would need several months to save up 1-million naira; and should anything go wrong, na to wait till further notice.

Also e get those of us wey be say we no fit easily survive a single failure in our system

e.g a single cell of 3.2v for instance could be the only thing making your 7.5kw lipo4 battery to stop working HENCE you either replace the entire thing, or look for where to do cell extraction both of which ain't CHEAP at all.
Now imagine say na 4 strings of Lead Acid / Tubular batteries, and one of them goes bad, na to replace just that one (don't bother telling me it's MIXing old and new batteries) or temporarily downGrade. So you see, me (and I know I'm not alone) no get that kind money.

same goes with using hybrid inVerters with it's baked in charge Controller; a single fault to the inverter or charge Controller is akin to putting all your eggs in a single basket - I rather pay more to have 2 separate systems, than a single one even if it's seems CHEAPer.

Also same with very large solar panels, I rather go with 4pcs of 450w Solar panels, than 2pcs of 900watts Solar panels which would still give a total of 1,800 watts. You know why, because among other things, a single solar panels going bad either means You loose either 900w or just 450w.

Even in computers, I prefer having 2 sticks of ram each being 32GB than a single 64GB ram stick.
in fact if said computer got space for 4 ram sticks, I would go with 4pcs of 16GB rams.

Another issue I got with Hybrid inverters is, they are more fragile, and expensive + chances of successful repairs is often very low. Funny enough, I never use am personally before BUT no be all of us need chop before we know the taste of the pudding. Imagine buying an Inverter for 500,000 naira make e come burn or spoil and after so much stress, you come receive news say na to change board (not cheap) or complete replacement

Mind you, difference between a brand new, and Used solar panels is NOT often much judging from their outPut.

Also, Difference between Lithium batteries, and Tubular / LeadAcid batteries ain't much - You think it's much because they want you to THINK so. Major difference is DOD which is 50 in non Lithium based batteries and 80 in Lithium batteries.

Once again, most people got no need for Bi-facial solar panels. Always buy (half-cut) MONO Solar panels.

of course, all the above no concern those wey get better Money.

MAKE I STOP HERE FOR NOW

Want to presume a lot of us do understand all the Rubbish wey I dey talk. Those wey I pity na the innocent Ones wey dey try follow crowd.
Hybrid inverter are fixable.

Or rather there are some that are more fixable than the other.

Honestly, I can relate to this 100%.

When you’re still growing your LinkedIn presence, it’s easy to feel like every post is being “watched” or judged — especially when you don’t have a big following yet. But the truth is, most people are too focused on their own pages to notice as much as we think.

What really helped me was focusing on consistency instead of perfection. The more you post, the easier it becomes to share your thoughts without overthinking every line.

Also, if you’re serious about building your brand from scratch, I’d strongly recommend trying out LinkedIn Premium — not for vanity, but because the insights and visibility boost make a huge difference. You get to see who’s viewing your profile, advanced search filters for outreach, and you can message people outside your connections.

I actually found a way to get the same LinkedIn Premium features at a much lower price (no tricks, same plan I use myself). If you want for yourself, just let me know.

Keep being “loud and shameless” though — that’s exactly what builds confidence and attracts your audience over time.
Boss I dey interested in the premium version.

My roommate was a very stingy girl. She's stingy to the point of starving herself cos she wants to keep seeing her naira breathing in the bank.

As a foodie, I had big cooking pots. Not too big but for a student, it was a big pot.

Initially, we tried contributing to cook, but because it's not her thing to spend money on good food, she told to stop worrying about her and do my thing.

I said ok.

So, I'd cook vegetable soup, make fish stew and keep in my small fridge.

In her presence, I'll be eating and won't invite her and she will shamelessly ask me for some. This happened again and again until I devised a plan. 😬

So, she's so allergic to goat meat. She'll run if she sees goat meat in the pot. If a restaurant cooked general food with the goat meat stock, she'll never enter their again.

After she stopped contributing to cook, I came back from school one day and saw the fridge handle stained with oil. She dey tif my food be that o.

So, I decided to always cook with goat meat and she never touched my food again.

I will enjoy my swallow with correct soup and goat meat, while she chews her boli and groundnuts.
Follow me try this prank First grin.

No service centre in Nigeria yet. But it can be fixed drop your location I can refer you.

Now speaking of inverters, while there maybe a price war, I actually think it's very important you look out and purchase inverters that are fixable.

Warranty period is just 1yrs, after which if there are damages, you will likely be focused to get new one.

Think it isn't very likely that such a facility would use hacks to handle their solar installation. As long as it's electricity, there's always a risk of fire--doesn't necessarily have to be a case of bad installation.

But yeah, things like smoke detectors and extinguishers are always necessary to mitigate damage if it happens.
