Hello house 👋🏾

I have a problem with my 8kva felicity inverter and my installer isn’t even coming to check it.

It trips off load all the time. I bought 8 unit of 600W panels, only 7 was connected, 1 was broken. At 100% capacity, it supposed to give me 4.2kW but I know that it’s not possible. I’d be receiving 3.5 - 4kW but I don’t get up to 500W total wattage from it. The 4 wet batteries are starplus products.

Now it doesn’t work effectively except I connect it to NEPA, but I should not be on NEPA because I’m not paying for it. I was even disconnected from NEPA which is very much ok, my solar energy system is supposed to be sufficient for me without NEPA.

The installer has refused to show up. What do you advise?

I’m in Lagos, in case you suggest another experienced installer and you can share their contact with me.
Has this been resolved?

Not all repair require change of parts.

Lol. Mine is working. Just that so many people have called me for repairs from so many state with different powerstations brand because of my thread my phone number is there. At this point I wouldn't even advice anybody to buy any powerstation that don't have a company in Nigeria. If u have a spare parts problem otilor. Buy only a brand that has an office in Nigeria.
And again solar generators isn't too expensive as u painted it. Except for brands like Ecoflow and Bluetti and those brands have good reasons for being expensive for example their 5 Years warranty.
In summary, buy made in Nigeria shocked

So, apart from fouani, is there any other place where one can get original jinko panels.
Fouani is out of stock for the cost effective specs of jinko panels I would have love to get
Try sunova same grade with Jinko with slight price difference

If you are within lagos anyway

No it doesn't work that way boss. Just that so many engineers are selfish they will say u did not buy from them.
This is false abeg.

Most of this solar gen doesn't use parts that are common to source.

You will want to say why not use an equivalent part?
It will take time to find and source.

Not every fault in solar gen is fixable once MCU don get fault, otilor

you allowed the inverter go off on low battery.

Use a wire and bridge the negative and positive side of the inverter to start charging.
You are asking him to short circuit the inverter terminal while connected to grid?

Hi solar lovers please give me phone numbers of solar generator repairers in your state. Someone that can repair Bluetti, Ecoflow , Yoobao etc ND other solar generators
Where are you located?

A lot of those solar generator are designed such that if they have trouble, you discard them and buy new one.

There use to be a product that you can connect to your tiger gen to enable it power pressing iron way more it's size

Bros do you use any of this tools, cos the carpenter and furniture people I've been interviewing here are saying the battery power circular cutting machine doesn't last. Tho I'll have a my solar system on standby.

Another disadvantage of the the battery powered is that it'll be close to impossible to under table mount it
Let me find out for you.

I have only seen the table type

I have screenshoted the video where I captured the moment it was been used in a workshop

bros any idea if it will work or how to go about it
You will need around 10kva considering your start up surge.

Then you where saying 1 battery? What kind of battery where you looking at?

Aside from the solar, I think there is a battery powered circular saw in the market.

Try and explore that option it might be more cheaper than the solar.
It depends on the scale at which you cut wood at the workshop

Good evening house, I want to buy a 1400w ingco or de Walt or Bosch circular saw cutting machine.

I plan to use solar for powering it. I also understand that I'll need not less than 7 panels. Now my questions are; what type of battery is best for my system
2. I hope to use just one battery.

More information is that, it will be use mostly during the day.
It's semi commercial usable

It's for cutting mbf, hdf and malana boards
Send pics of the machine you plan to use

Information reaching me on this is that the solar fridge takes 24hrs to create/ make the ice block.

I have tried thus stuff it works, but this approach is best if you plan to build a welding machine at home.

For the spot welder, I will advise you put together a circuit that can create a pulse for a short period then link it up with a car battery.

Such that when the circuit is triggered, it bridges the car battery for a very short period,by doing so, a weld is created

Haykay2001:
During my research, I discovered a solar-powered freezer that I believe would be ideal for my customer's ice block production business, enabling them to manufacture ice blocks for sale. Attached is the picture.

Has anyone had hands-on experience with this solar freezer? I've learned that it can operate on both AC and solar power, which is convenient. However, my client's specific requirement is a freezer capable of producing ice blocks, and I'd love to hear from someone with practical experience in this area.

A few weeks ago, we purchased a Hisense chest freezer, which unfortunately turned out to be a disappointing investment. Despite running it for three days, it failed to produce a full ice block, falling short of our expectations.

I'm seeking recommendations for a reliable freezer specifically designed for ice block production, beyond homemade solutions. Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Will be waiting in the comment section.
Thanks all
You will hardly find a freezer that produces ice block.

Most of those freezers that does so has been modified starting from the condenser, to dryer to the gas and even compressor (yes the compressor some times are modified if necessary).

Although there is a video of a solar fridge that produces block. You can look more into it experiment and give us the real facts grin.

Meanwhile I can help you ask questions about it

@Obnoxious2001 na him papa Dey sell material ? The word negotiate shouldn’t even be in the picture. Why would an engineer give me an inflated Quote and me as a client Dey follow am Dey negotiate. Na him papa Dey sell material? That’s the first question. Secondly, it is not his birthright to buy my materials. The only negotiation that should occur should be his own charges. Some engineers be feeling like they own the client, the clients project and the clients money altogether and they can do whatever. If I don see say you Dey greedy, no time to negotiate with you, you gone bro asap. No time. Negotiating is like giving you a chance to still reap me.

If you negotiate he no gree, you know you have done your part. Move to the next person.

Besides I actually advocate client buy their stuff/materials themselves.

Exactly.
You are informing him that This is what am willing to loose.

It's his choice Las Las.
Besides I can confidently tell you that if you met the artisan and ask them to drop quote(use this approach to also scrutinized his quote, however you go to some extent need artisans that can understand your building plan), it's not going to be upto what the Engr quoted....

A lot dey happen for site but then, most workers will just focus on their job and leave client and Engr to sort their stuffs out.

@Obnoxious2001
E be like say you no understand Wetin Dey sup. How can one negotiate with a greedy person who inflated price of materials to x3 of the normal price. Negotiating is waste of your time because no matter how you negotiate, the end result will still not favour you. A greedy person has made up his or her mind and will stand on his or her ground to achieve his or her greed. To a greedy person, it’s either he or she achieves his or her greedy aim or nothing at all. A greedy person won’t drop their aim or come down for you. If a greedy person comes down for you, it is to cut another corner to still achieve their greed.
If you negotiate he no gree, you know you have done your part. Move to the next person.

floshady02:
@Lampert505 after getting prices on jiji, get a pen and paper, modify prices in your quote. Turn the table around, give the quote to your engineer or whoever is buying materials and tell them this is what they should buy. They will try to still convince you by saying your own prices is wrong but don’t give in stand your ground. When the person buying for you gets to to where they want to buy, out of nowhere, ask to speak to the seller also and negotiate price yourself and make sure you pay into the sellers account. Don’t be weak or shy with people you are dealing with, they will reap you off and take advantage of you. Stand your ground. It’s your hard earned money.
You can't successfully cut cost with this approach.

You negotiate.

Besides, if you send the person, he can connive with the seller and still cash in.

I've got a solid advice for ya

Pursue your career

When you get some certain amount of success, go for sperm donor, carry pregnancy and deliver as much as you want and continue your life

If you are unable to carry pregnancy, or pregnancies, pay for surrogacy, have your eggs taken and fertilized in another's and you pay them

So it won't disturb your career
Who go come give her the companionship, love and support angry.

Mind you children is not the bone of contention here.
