So technically on this thread since the past 2yrs, we have actually had more complaint on lithium batteries than on lead.

Most lead complaint has always been issue around charging and tubular is taking the lead in that category, obviously poor design and consideration are the causes.

For lithium battery e choke, a lot of SNR men done pass through the needle eyes in the hands of this battery.

We recently installed a Sako 4.2kw inverter about 3 months ago, and the inverter malfunctioned two weeks ago when we tried using a 1700W air fryer (every other appliance was turned off before turning on the air fryer). The inverter was repaired at their repair center and stop working today again. Seeing similar complaints from others raises questions about the quality of their product. Boss, can you link me up with any engineer that may be able to fix an Ecoflow Powerstation damaged by Lighting. Like you rightly said, most powerstations will indeed need to return to the manufacturer for repair. Ecoflow says they dont have a service center in Nigeria. They instead decided to send me a new one. So now I have a bricked shining powerstation sitting down dead at home. But I was thinking, even if I cant repair it, engineers should be able to extract out the battery inside the powerstation and repurpose it so that the battery inside does not just waste like that. What do you think

First it depends on the pattern of build i.e spot welded or copper wire(fused)

If it is spot welded,you have to dismantle to correct d error but in case of copper wire coupled one,it's easier.

It brings the code randomly and not even when charging, it can come up when the battery is even at 60% and when we restart, it becomes normal again. After some hours same thing reoccur

I have a problem with my 8kva felicity inverter and my installer isn’t even coming to check it.

It trips off load all the time. I bought 8 unit of 600W panels, only 7 was connected, 1 was broken. At 100% capacity, it supposed to give me 4.2kW but I know that it’s not possible. I’d be receiving 3.5 - 4kW but I don’t get up to 500W total wattage from it. The 4 wet batteries are starplus products.

Now it doesn’t work effectively except I connect it to NEPA, but I should not be on NEPA because I’m not paying for it. I was even disconnected from NEPA which is very much ok, my solar energy system is supposed to be sufficient for me without NEPA.

The installer has refused to show up. What do you advise?

I’m in Lagos, in case you suggest another experienced installer and you can share their contact with me.

Not all repair require change of parts.

Lol. Mine is working. Just that so many people have called me for repairs from so many state with different powerstations brand because of my thread my phone number is there. At this point I wouldn't even advice anybody to buy any powerstation that don't have a company in Nigeria. If u have a spare parts problem otilor. Buy only a brand that has an office in Nigeria.
And again solar generators isn't too expensive as u painted it. Except for brands like Ecoflow and Bluetti and those brands have good reasons for being expensive for example their 5 Years warranty.

In summary, buy made in Nigeria

Where are you located?

A lot of those solar generator are designed such that if they have trouble, you discard them and buy new one.

I think this device is more of a power factor corrector nothing more.
There use to be a product that you can connect to your tiger gen to enable it power pressing iron way more it's size

Aside from the solar, I think there is a battery powered circular saw in the market.

Try and explore that option it might be more cheaper than the solar.

I have tried thus stuff it works, but this approach is best if you plan to build a welding machine at home.

For the spot welder, I will advise you put together a circuit that can create a pulse for a short period then link it up with a car battery.

Such that when the circuit is triggered, it bridges the car battery for a very short period,by doing so, a weld is created

You will hardly find a freezer that produces ice block.

Most of those freezers that does so has been modified starting from the condenser, to dryer to the gas and even compressor (yes the compressor some times are modified if necessary).

Although there is a video of a solar fridge that produces block. You can look more into it experiment and give us the real facts .

Negotiating is waste of your time because no matter how you negotiate, the end result will still not favour you. A greedy person has made up his or her mind and will stand on his or her ground to achieve his or her greed. To a greedy person, it’s either he or she achieves his or her greedy aim or nothing at all. A greedy person won’t drop their aim or come down for you.
