For one, we do not recommend tubular batteries on this thread anymore.

- Switch that inverter to a 5KW 48v one. Buy from Growatt or SRNE or Felicity. Same price.

- Buy a 5kwh 48v Lithium battery. You can buy from Valto here, or Deriy, or talk to Dam5reey1. Same price or even cheaper than what you've been quoted.

- Buy six 620w Jinko panels from Fouani. 830k.

Solar cable you need is 6mm and they don't cost more than 4k per yard. That's 80k. Also no need for a battery rack with a lithium battery.

Buy all of these yourself. Let the installer buy the other accessories and you pay for installation. You should save yourself about 150k doing this and you'd have a significantly better setup.

After he buy everything he go come dey proce installer 100k .

Nobody talks about this stuff on this thread.

If you are going to spend on what has been recommended (the recommendation is Valery valid) be will to spend well on a good installer.

Since I’ll be using a sachet inverter and a pwm, will it be enough to charge the 100ah Lifepo4 with 200w load simultaneously?

Also forgive my dumb question, why do people buy tubular batteries when the lifepo4 equivalent is only slightly higher in price? Is there a disadvantage to using lifepo4? I’m asking cause I’ve only used Tubular and Lead since 2020. I don’t know much about these things.

If you Will be using a pwm cc, the 250w is okay just make sure the cc is the type that's compatible for lithium battery.

Buying a mppt for 12v Wil limit you to just 800w of PV.

Will the 4 unit of 250w run the 200w load and charge yes.

It's a 105ah battery capacity, can i add a cworth 100ah lfp battery to it in parallel to increase my capacity? Can they be compatible?

If this is the inverter you are using, there's is a likely hood that the Inverter has developed fault.

The "main trip" notification is probably when the inverter cannot sense input from utility.


For your battery, confirm there's output on the battery terminal.

If there's is output, try to discharge it and charge it again.

Good morning all, I have one 2kva 12V Sako inverter that drops charging to as low as 2A or should I say, the charging current starts dropping immediately it starts charging, no matter the level of the battery discharge (LiFePo4). Even though the charging current is set to 50A, PHCN charging for now, no solar panels added yet. The inverter will need to be restarted like 2 to 3 times before it starts ramping up the charging to 47A. Any fix or settings to correct this issue?

Disconnect your load and restart the inverter.

If it works fine, it's your load.

If it doesn't, it's a problem on the board

It's not for the charging.

I think this is for the input from mains.

It's good someone has actually experimented the lithium battery with Indian inverters.

My Gel type of batteries are no longer serving me and I searched for their replacement with no succes.

My Issues are as follows.

1) How do I get good gel type of 12v/200ah batteries
2) In the event that I am unable to get the gel type batteries. How do I identify good and genuine tubular batteries (12v/200ah) as there seems to be so much fake and substandard batteries in the market these days.

However you can go with quanta, it's agm (I think this is the most expensive presently around 400k)

You will need to consider if they have the structure to accommodate the tank.

By the way that will imply more energy to be spent pumping the water.

They might not even have water when it's needed the most because electricity might not be available.

There is a boarding school that called me that they need an solar system that can power their water pump everyday.
They have 4 water Sumos of each 3Hp totalling 12Hp. Please i want to know the size of Battery bank, Solar panels and inverter to use for this project.
Note:, they use water every morning before they go for classes, also evening time when school closes. On weekends, they use it mostly for washing of clothes and other hostels chores.
