Nigeria should deploy security forces immediately. Don't wait until they gain ground and storm Abuja.

Politics › Re: Unknown Gunmen Kill Ibrahim, Fulani Herdsman In Kwara by obyrich(m): 10:49am On Oct 02, 2021
Ofodirinwa:
Yesterday I commented on the irresponsibility of calling every violence gun action 'unknown gunmen'. Now that our lazy police, media and government have new English to blow there will never be a criminal investigation again.
We used to have, 'gun men, dare-devil gun men, assassins, kidnappers' etc used for reporting incidents of this nature. Unfortunately, just like you rightly observed, lazy media in collaboration with corrupt government agents have continued to replace them with, unknown gun men and bandits to create an aura of mystery around the activities of these criminals.

I have always believed, and still do, that the Nigeria police can quickly smoke out any criminal terrorising the state if they want.

Tomek09:
Kwara State is mixed State with both Fulani, Yoruba and other tribes co-existing together.

U can't possibly say that Kwara is Yoruba when it's on record that Afonja betrayed his people until he was killed by famous Fulani warlord known as Alimi.

There are Yorubas in Kwara but the State is not a Yoruba owned State.
I do not think that Yorubas lay claim to ownership of Kwara state. It is common knowledge that there are indigenous Fulanis in Kwara.

The FG should quickly fish out the killers of the innocent fulani heardsman and let the full weight of the law apply. We do not need any reprisal attacks similar to what is happening in Plateau and Kaduna states in Kwara state known for peaceful coexistence among the different indigenous tribes.

Let us learn to tolerate each other so we can have a peaceful society.

MyExpression:
IPOB has overrun the people's will, they have overtaken institutions and now, they have the government in subjection.

This is quite unsettling for a sovereign nation.
Did IPOB stop other states from celebrating independence. What happened to churches like Christ Embassy and other organisations that used to celebrate independence in bright colors? Are they also controlled by IPOB?

Is their sit-at-home in Abuja too? Why will they restrict the free movement of Nigerian citizens in their country?

The AK-47 rifle with Breach No. 804611, was “carted away with 30 rounds of live ammunition,”

I'm very disappointed in those hoodlums by carting away with the Ak_47 rifle with 30 rounds of lives ammunition when they should have used it to wast those weak police men, instead they left them alive angry.

Now they are going to use it and kill the innocent ones.
Those weak policeman are people's father and uncles. This is not right.

only an idiot will think ipob are not responsible for this crime. If the op like let him even say it is DSS,all we know is ipob terrorists carried out this attack.
The foolish ipob terrorists don't want to blame DSS again, they are now blaming cultists.
Is there any difference between the cultists and ipob?
Nigeria police is not foolish. They have asserted it was done by cultists. However, you are at liberty to wallow in self-deceit.

Cultism has been in existence before ESN. Put things in proper perspective. Even in Lagos, cultism is a menace so much so that the state government has to recently enact a law that will not only punish the cultist but also the parents.

What I really don't understand is the folly in your thinking that everyone in the SE supports ESN or IPOB.

Going through that Onicha ngwa road to Akwa Ibom is the worst nightmare anyone can experience.

Ikpeazu and the governors before him have failed no doubt but op, that road will benefit Akwa Ibom people a lot more than even the Ngwa people of that area, you know why? The road is a very short cut for Akwa Ibom business men and women who come to Aba on a daily basis to buy goods and other services. It would also benefit others from Cross River. Ikpeazu is a very big disappointment even to the Ngwa people. The road he has been building from his village, Umuobiakwa through Owoahiafor to Onicha Ngwa, which could have served as a detour for the abandoned Aba-Ikot-ekpene Federal road has also been abandoned.

Anyways kudos to Udom Emmanuel, he has done noble.
