Politics / Re: Youths Plan Protest Against Mark by oche419: 12:07pm On Oct 26, 2013
Mark will definitely use his thugs to scatter the protest. Idoma pple back home are very gullible. Poverty is ravaging the land and Mark is capitalizing on that. He will just budget some millions and the protest will be taken care of. God is watching. It is just a matter of time before the fate of Senator Arthur Nzeribe befalls him.

MAYOWAAK: I hear everyone singing in one avalanche 'do your own thing' 'fire your boss' 'start your own business' and all the sweet motivational talks here and there...

While I agree this is a sound message to preach, I also want to help you balance the sermon. Kindly note that you don't own your own business because you failed at your profession or because you failed at school and simply because you cannot humble yourself in submission to the structured authority of a workplace.

Please count your cost before you jump into 'doing your thing', this is not to discourage you but to prepare you for the life ahead. I have two businesses and I can tell that your KPIs as an entrepreneur are way higher than those of an employee... don't get into it, if you are not ready to give it all it takes to succeed

And for those who have become too proud to return to paid employment having failed woefully as an entrepreneur, here's my advice, humble yourself, take a paid job, learn the ropes, get all the knowledge and experience you need and come back to 'doing your own thing' when you are ripe for it..... don't go before your time

I could get nailed for this unpopular message of mine, but I have just poured out my mind to you and trust me, this is not for everyone but I am certain it is for someone

Sports / Re: Super Eagles FIFA Confederations Cup Squad! by oche419: 11:48pm On Jun 07, 2013
bisikeys: This squad lacks dept. I see a lot of people the coach is trying to sell. Who is Muhammad Gambo and what has he done to be in the team? Who is Solomon Kwambe?? In midfield, i only see two players of class, Ogenyi Onazi and Mikel Obi.. Before you start mentioning Mba, in all of Nigeria's games that he has played , what is his overall performance. He's always anonymous for most of the game. His role is so undefined. You dont see him tackle, you dont see him pass, he just shows that occasional flash of brilliance. Check out our games in the Nations cup, Before and after the goals, what was his impact? What role was he playing? Defensive midfield, or attacking midfield? I believe this is not the best team Nigeria can offer at this stage. this is just the team of a coach trying to prove a point(that am in charge).
I was sceptical abput Mba too and i asked ur questions too until i watched SE against Mexico. Sunday Mba is a midfield machine. The guy is good.

dvdami: Sincere apologies to the poster for the delay in this transaction.

I work with FirstBank (albeit as a non core staff), but I know all d efforts d management is putting in to make sure our customers are given nothing but the best services.

Even the best writers erase at times. The best orators stammer at times.

To all Nigerians, there is so much transformation going on inside the bank among its staff force, its only a matter of time before we become the toast of all Nigerians.

First Bank...forever d first.
Tell them.

in civilised world, people do not waste their time doing spell checks or verifying grammer structure on threads because they feel the person who makes a minor mistake perhaps is a german, chinese or even from iceland and hence not very versed in english but in Nigeria or on nairaland, some i diots wont. they just sit down there, feeling funky with their china-made phone, raining curses on a fellow just because they want cheap credits. If you r.etards are so good with the language how come you dont have phd in it and to know that english is a borrowed language only makes it more annoying.
clumsy excuses. am sure u are yet to obtain a credit in english language. any wrong english must be corrected here. we are here to learn.

nex: A Muslim will never do a thing like this. Whether to Islam, or to Christianity, Muslims believe that the prophets must be respected. I wonder why Christians on the other hand have chosen to defame their god, and those of other religion. I don't know where the hatred for and disrespect for their god is coming from. Has he not been fulfilling his promise?
xtians dont give a shiiit about this kind of thing. they dont believe in fighting 4 God.
