Those Robbers might not be ordinary armed robbers, but maybe some police and army boys gone bad

How much part-time work, as an international student would she have done to pay a whooping 3 sch years fees that ran into thousands of pounds, pay her accommodation, transportation and take care of other basic necessities? I am talking from the point of view of someone who has a Cousin who was offered admission to a University in Australia. Due to non-available of funds for tuition, the cousin was asked to pay the tuition fees for one academic session, after which the University sent a letter to the Australian High Commission in Nigeria and the said Cousin was granted a Student Visa. The Cousin is presently in his third year of study because the University found a part-time Job for him through which he is able to pay his tuition.

Last week a young Electrician trying to do an illegal electricity connection to a residential building, in Ekiti State, was electrocuted and died few hours later.

Government should provide some form of social security for the down-trodden masses, so that the desperation to cut corners through illegal electricity connections and scooping of spilled fuel will be brought to a halt.

I am surprised that you sister agreed to slave under your Uncle and Aunt in London, so that they can pay her tuition fees. If she is a Full-Time student of her University, she is entitled to a Student's Visa. Armed with a Student's Visa, she could find part-time Jobs she could work on to raise money to pay for the next academic session's tuition fees.


I suggest she makes an appeal to the University's Student Union and the University Authorities.

On the other hand, female househelps are prone to get unwanted pregnancy, not from the father of the house, and indulge in different activities that you cannot believe I remember once a friend told me that he does not feel happy heading home because the house-help, a young girl of 14 years with a fully developed body, was always making sexual gestures at him; though she does this behind his wife's back.

The friend above eventually had to send the house-girl packing and since then has vowed not to let any house-help into his house, which I believe is the best decision to take on this issue.

I remember when I was a kid in primary school and mistakenly tampered with an active beehive close to my house. I can never forget that day. I ran faster than Usain Bolt, jumped over fences and walls, crashed into neighbour's gardens, ran through neighbours rooms, saw some strange things going on, kept running and running till I fell in a ditch, the bees kept biting and biting. One of the worst days of my life. I woke up in a hospital, with needles and injections in me and I stayed there a further 3 days.
