PoliticsRe: Ribadu Set To Dump Acn For Cpc . by oderemo(m): 4:17pm On Apr 25, 2011
Who decides these thing? Emotional folk who think a person who lost an election is "finished" ? Ribadu , if anything , will become even more important for the North as the reality sinks in for the region that only visible Northerners , popular and liked throughout Nigeria, can bring power back to the region. Atiku too was labelled "unimportant" to Nigerian politics after 2007 yet we saw how he , out of many , was the politician who challenged GEJ for the PDP ticket.
@gbawe, gud talk. but without ribadu building from the bottom up his grass root support. his castle is simply in the air. how many votes did he manage in adamawa his home state huh.
charity begins @?

Kuletempa it is interesting that as usual u carefully avoided the details of the initial problems. When the northern delegate who explained the situation of education in the north and requested for additional 2 year preparation before we can have independence were attacked and many lynched in Lagos. The left the iddo train station under the colonial protection but being pelted with stones out of Lagos . Yes there was tension in the north after the arrival of the survivors of that meeting and was understood and controlled. The aim of the south was to get a quick independence for Nigeria so they could replace the colonial officers in the north as the northerners had negligible western education - in effect they wanted to be the new colonial powers. The few people northerners who received the crash program in preparation for the independence have really done well- they were mail teachers like tafawa balewa ,Aminu Kano, the sardauna, JS Tarka and Shagari as examples.
You also avoided talking about the greated riot of all - the western Nigeria riot of 1963 when all northerners were targeted and hacked to death between Lagos and Ibadan. Even northerners who were members of the AG attending the actiog group meetings had kerosine poured on their vehicles and set ablaze by the same action group members. There wAs a state of emergency in the west and Dr. Majekudunmi who was then the chief medical officer of the federation and not a politician was appointed the Administrator of the Western region by T/ Balewa. This riot gave the name of " wild West" to the western region and was where all rioters Learnt the evil business of rioting. Please read some vivid account

since you dont want to understand and read with your eyes that nothing like that took place;let me remind you that it is still better to marry a "9 years old" girl than abusing a 9 years old boy in a so called "house of God

'Love your neighour as urseves'
'Continue to love and pray for your enemies'
@remo, u can laff in swiss, those who kill by sword will die by sword
you r contradicting yourself now, imagine that your neighbour is consider your enemy, will u stop praying for him/her.? love is love, that knows no boundary as exemplified by ppl like mandella, ghandi and so on.
is either u love or hate.
back to point, that is the issue with the almajiri that kill innocent lives all cos of embeded hatred fueled simply by religion.

PoliticsRe: Bakare: Why We Rejected Result Of Presidential Poll by oderemo(m): 12:41pm On Apr 24, 2011
@abagwaro, my point was. all cpc could have said to reduce the tension and loss of innocent lives and properties is to tell all their suuporters that they will challenge the result with FORENSIC evidence @ the tribunal. to me that would have made more sense than total silence for almost 48hrs.
PoliticsRe: Bakare: Why We Rejected Result Of Presidential Poll by oderemo(m): 12:25pm On Apr 24, 2011
He implored INEC to, as a matter of urgency, take custody of the election materials and make the ballot papers in support of the votes cast in the two zones available for a representative sample of the thumb prints to be matched with the biometrics-based voter register by forensic experts
.
that be the case, i wonder y the loss of innocent lives.FOREN , SIC my back side.
how many votes did bakare himslef as the v.p got for cpc in his home town ogun state talkless of the s.s where buhari hardly gave any serious campaign effort. if we add 40 % to cpc votes itwill still not be  enuff to win the election for them.

It is obvious where regionalism sectional, religious and tribalcoted politics is more pronounced. The results from the SS and SE
sorry matey. the decease been with us from independence so that should not be an excuse for the abysmally performance by both RIBADU AND BUHARI.
this is politics and its number of votes that count at the end of the day. to crown the ridiculous performance by buhari and co, he could not garnish enough votes even in the core north, where it matters most.
this in essence translate to me that the north must raise its game and present CREDIBLE candidate next tym.
these bunch ain't good enuff.
