Sure. You can get in. Why do you think you can't? What's your total cgpa? Dalhousie is cool
my total cgpa is 3.37. Will that reduce my chances of getting admitted?

Hello buddies, I am a graduate of Biochemistry and I want to apply for masters in Food science in dalhousie university. My cgpa is 3.7 (for my last two years in the University).
Now my question is, Do I have any chance of getting an admission from this school or I shouldn't bother wasting my application fee?
Thanks

AriseOCompatrot:
How many supervisors have you contacted and from how many schools?
I have contacted more than 12 supervisors(via email) and roughly 9 or 8 replied with same cock and bull stories. The one that accepted to be my supervisor isn't from the faculty I applied and they rejected him, saying my supervisor must come from the faculty.

AriseOCompatrot:
Go for a post graduate course. You'll stand a better chance of getting a visa with that than with another degree.
I know bro! But what should I do when the stupid supervisors keep rejecting me? None of then even wanna accept me. They are saying their lab is filled up. And without them I can't be admitted.
What else do you advice me to do bro?

Getting a supervisor in MUN is not a big deal if u bliv God. Before u give up on ur BCH admission try to load ur phone and give each supervisor in ur area of interest a call. Be Bold, it works like fire.

Futhermore, I fink Pharmacy in MUN is competitive and expensive if am not mixing it up with me Medicine. U can give it a try blivin in God. It is a very good idea.

Check Uottawa dey av interesting courses too buh tuition fee is higher compared to MUN. Before u settle for PGD , I strongly advise u to check other schools.
Thanks bro! Like how much do you think its gonna cos? I mean the pharmacy and I believe there's gonna be employment opportunities on that course

Odinwa.. do a research on "applied degree" in biochemistry or any related field. An applied degree is a kind of practical degree which is offered in Canada. with your first degree and TOEFL score, you can get admission for an applied degree (2years) on completion, you can add a few courses to get a Canadian degree before doing Masters. that should take less time and will upgrade you to a more flexible / more opportunities carrier path
Thanks for the reply but is it a must that I will have a TOEFL result or can I use a letter from my school stating that my language of instruction in school was English?
Secondly, do you think that the idea of enrolling into pharmacy undergraduate is a bad idea or will it be difficult?

You think I haven't done that already? It seems they are having problems with GTB mastercards. I have seen such complain on this thread too.

Hello guys! Please I am encountering some problems while trying to submit my online application. Am applying for masters in MUN but after inputting my credcard details and click proceed, it will tell me that the payment was unseccesful, that an error occurred during the transaction and I should try again. I have tried it many times but its the same.
Please I need your help here. What should I do about it?

You don't need to stress yourself with that. Just request for another one Shikena.
I can't travel back to east to request for another transcript when I already have one with me. Am in lagos now and I can't travel to east now!!

Waledarep:
You simply request for another copy or explain yourself to the people in charge requesting for the possibility of having the address changed.
I am thinking of mutilating the school's name then photocopy it, then I will certify the photocopy. Won't that work?
TravelRe: Travelling To Canada Part 7 by Odinwa(m): 7:59am On May 21, 2015
Hello house, how is everyone doing?
I have a little problem here, when I requested for my transcripts from my school, I was applying for a different school but now I wanna apply for another school with the same transcript.
How do I do that? Bearing in mind that the name of the other school have been boldly written on it.
Thank you
