Tony Spike: The one and only Chief Negro, yes! Yes, I read him. It upsets me that our people find european writers more credible than our own oral history.....even though the european got the story from local source. I dont get it.... Eridu, Nineveh, Itapa, the "m-r" root, Baal, Isise, Orisa, Sargon.....and so on and so forth, there are just too many correlated cultural meanings between the two civilizations that it is reckless to dismiss them as nothing more than an ordinary cincidence. Read the creation myth of Babylonia and compare with that in Yoruba oral history and you will see a mirror image of one conscioisness that you will not find exist between Yoruba and anyone else. In the m-r root word you will discover that Edumare, Marduk and Lamarudu all contain the. M-R root, or MARE. So what is MARE? Instead of reading dierk we need to be asking our own people and improving our awareness. |

You need to listen and learn what Yoruba elders teach to you. Yoruba is never a lost tribe of anybody. We are not Jewish or any part of Jew. We do have among us descendants of the children of israel....byt they are sub group of the Yoruba commonwealth. |

Tony Spike: In a related development, I read somewhere that ILE IFE is a pseudonym translating to NINEFEH or NINEVEH, the ancient Babylonian city. Could this be true? In fact i originated that theory and yes its is true until proven otherwise. |

The ARG scribe assured that notwithstanding the outcome of the Ondo polls, DAWN's next phase would kick off.According to the scribe, though DAWN was non-partisan, it would however move to the next stage with or without Ondo State. DAWN must include Ondo State. .....it must! We are talking about a forward progress for Yorubaland. The focus must be on the Yoruba people, not their political alliance. Here are some suggestions to the llanners 1. Political seat of any member state is not predictable and could shift in future. However, monarchy crowns are permanent and fixed to the land and the people. Monarchs therefore ought to have a primary role in DAWN. 2. Constitutional mandates can handicap a governor in his/her duty to the land and service to the Yoruba cause. Monarchs are immune and can operate outside the container to bring people together or to implement orders which the constitution would notallow to the executive of the state. 3. Mimiko is not Ondo and Labour party is not Ondo. I hope Mimiko continue to support DAWN as he has done in past and I believe he will. If he is disaffected by the recent political gang up against him and should therefore elect to stay out of DAWN, then he is entitled to do that but he cannot hold Ondo back from participating in our jointly owned commonwealth. The monarchs of Ondo must act to join in and move Yorubaland and people forward. 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: 1914 Amalgamation - A Historical Mistake? : Nairaland Political Debate by ODUANEGRO: 5:22pm On Nov 05, 2012 |
The coastal tribes are already anti-Igbo and since emergence of Gej, first as vp and now as president, Ijaws have found a new political strength to stand independently. In a show of that independence they have recently declared themselves the fourth largest tribe, not waiting for any official figure or declaration. I am ready to produce documents going as far back as 1884 and onward to 1914 that will reveal the scheme of the Southern protectorate. Evryo other people was under some sort of treaty except igboland. Every other land was either a colony or a protectorate before 1906. .......keep running mouth about who is Nigerian and who is not.....I will champion a cause here that will totally put your third majority status in jeopardy. |
Politics / Re: Bzm...maasob by ODUANEGRO: 8:19am On Nov 05, 2012 |
THE Biafra Zionist Movement (BZM), a group that has been threatening to enforce the secession of the South-East, has again stated that it will declare an independent Biafra state on Monday. Leader of BZM, Benjamin Onwuka, had said in an interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) monitored in Kaduna, on Saturday, that on Monday, the group would declare the South-East as the state of Biafra. The group, while making the declaration, also accused chieftains of Movement for the Actualisation of the State of Biafra (MASSOB) of kidnapping and torturing its members, insisting that nothing would deter it from achieving its aim. However, the national publicity secretary of the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), Anthony Sani, told Sunday Tribune that his organisation met with the leadership of Ohanaeze recently on how best to strengthen and move the nation forward.“The ensuing communiqué emphasised the commitment by the two groups to a united strong Nigeria. Towards that end, the duo resolved to keep the channel of communication open. So, for any other Igbo group to come from nowhere and start to hanker for secession may be understood but not forgiven,” he said. |
Politics / Bzm...maasob by ODUANEGRO: 8:16am On Nov 05, 2012 |
The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), on Saturday, demanded the immediate and unconditional release of its three principal officers who were currently being detained at the Anambra State Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) headquarters, Awkuzu, by the state command. This was contained in a press statement issued in Onitsha MASSOB’s National Director of Information, Comrade Uchenna Madu, identified the three principal officers under the police custody as Mr Osondu Okwareke (Regional Administrator for Onitsha 3); Mr. Omenka (Regional Administrator for Onitsha 1) and Mazi Chris Mocha (National Deputy Director of Information). According to the statement, the detained principal officers had gone to the Divisional Police Station, Fegge, Onitsha on Thursday, November 1, to hand over a member of confusionist group called Biafra Zionist Movement (BZM) to the police because of their proposed November 5 declaration of Biafra; which MASSOB viewed as making caricature of Biafra struggle and a dent to the image of the struggle. The statement further noted that MASSOB, as the pioneer organisation and champion of Biafra struggle is not against any genuine group clamouring for Biafra. It noted that any Biafra pressure, agitations and protest is a compliment to MASSOB’s 13 years of consistency, uncompromised and unshakable spirit of Biafra struggle, adding that on the other hand, MASSOB will not support or accommodate gambling or making cheap popularity with Biafra struggle by any group. |

Obinoscopy: I wonder why you guys are arguing with each other. As far as I'm concerned Obiagu, Negro and Kats are all saying the same thing: that Nigeria's amalgamation was a mistake. This is because the 1906 amalgamation preceded the 1914 amalgamation. So if that of 1906 was a mistake, it invariably means that 1914 amalgamation was also a mistake. What, what. noooo, Obiagu is talking shyyt. the dude read some fantasy written and posted on internet by people like dede and he believes he has the knowledge about 1906. Anyway, he is going to end up exposing stuffs that need to be left hidden and out of public knowledge. I warned him to stop but he is not listening. |

Onlytruth: hahahahahaha. . . .how many of you are left in East to join the fray when 75% of Lagos is Ibo and are stuck in there, cant get out? Another 75% of Kano and Kaduna are Ibo and up there battling for their property cant get out. The few in East are trying to build your new nation. So who will follow the leadership of Onlytruth to return to Ore for a duel with Yoruba? |

Beaf is always throwing SS in there to get relevance for the "creeks", even when the talk is about mountains and hills, he will come up with a Mount GEJ that's spitting lava into the creeks. Beaf, this talk is for ethnicities that live above sea level. |

This Negro. Dudu_ was banned and I dont know why yet. Anyway, if this breakup occur, I expect a similar geo-political re-orientation as in North to occur in West as Yorubas converge with all the commonwealths comming together to form a new nation. This will change the equation for this so called "burn down Lagos". Ibos will have maultiple choices amongst which will be (1) relocate to their own new country; (2) become Yoruba citizen. |
