LOL so a man is sick and you're mocking him in his illness just to win an internet fight? That's very wicked and i know yoruba culture makes no provisions for insulting a man on his sick and possibly death bed. Forget the internet, this is your fellow human being. Hopefully Chime will recover promptly
nna, this is not a mockery....this is serious problem. the governor has dissapeared, the deputy sworn in to act in his absence is useless, making people agitate for the prompt return of the governor. you got a catastrophy in ya hand and you call it sick....this is worse than sick, nobody know where chime as*s is. if he is sick they know which hospital to go visit him but they simply cant find him. The rascal is kidnapped. |
chime is not gonna return because he has been kidnapped. how many times i gotta tell you all this? ![]() |
They say Enugu is the pride of the East, I say no......Enugu is the scum of the East. Afam, is this not your governor? |
Afam, who made you a moderator? nna, answer me....na who put you up there? ![]() |
blims, individual performance is relative. give us a benchmark of performance against which we can compare Fashola and Lagos. |
road construction is a cash cow for politicians and contractors. they set out to build a road that will be recurrently repaired every two to five years. at the end of a 20yr period the contractor has rental properties all over town but road is still tore up. |
^^^ what do you mean? please clarify your statement. |
When you wonder what Yoruba states add to Nigerian economy, this market growth is one of a few to list. remember that! |
Eko Ile: I know it's a long load of rubbish just like the rubbish we read on NL.ugochukwu invested money in the business...he has his money tied into about 200 okadas, this is why he is in distress. Is Lagos the only state tha banned okada? why they all gang up on Lagos and tearing Fashola down? ENVY!! |
Ohh reallyyy, oh my God!! First of all, I miss Fela. This fraud calls for a song title. Second, wasn't it part of the kidnappers demand that NOI had to change the way she tie this gele? third, maybe if NOI would tie the gele like Diezani does subsidy may work. ![]() ...gang of full-breasted crooks! http://www.punchng.com/news/fuel-subsidy-is-not-working-fg/

Abagworo: Mind you Lagos is the smallest state by landmass. Consider the population. I don't think Imo is that small.I agree, Lagos is the smallest.....but Fashola dare not allocate 29b for road construction. Imo is just 5,435. It should not take this much money to build roads in the state where population is three times less that of Lagos and four wheeled vehicles are even far less in number. |
Chime has dissapeared since September. Until you can locate the whereabout of your governor and present him, dead or alive, your bragging right as the premier state in SE is revoked. You have no credibility to question what other state governors are doing or not doing. Happy New Year!
|
it doesnt take 29b to construct roads in a state no bigger than 5,435 sq km, even if you criss-cross the entire. state with asphalt surfaced roads. |
Chime was kidnapped! |
They went to Israel and their claim was officially rejected. They campaigned in America and got some street corner rabbi to support them but the American Rabbinical has officially rejected their claim as false. Now they are campaigning in Britain in hope they will get someone to buy their story. All the lost tribes so far identified have been done so voluntarily by Israel, no authentic lost tribe of Israel goes on a "I am Jew" campaign, Igbos are the first and only one on this drive. Original lost tribes hide their origin and practice in humility not wanting anyone to know who they are. Igbo has failed that authenticatiin test. |
Osun•Ife:Jihad is the propagation of faith in a sweep to establish the belief in one God. It is targeted at polytheists. Jihad is not the use of force to kill. The one that comes with sword and the one that comes with tongue to convert you are both going to achieve the same end result.....replace your faith and belief. |
ilugunboy: Negro....Dede is still dodging your question of which month in 1966......he saw it. he hasnt yet come up with a tenable lie to post, when he finds some new lies that he can fly in our face he will give a response. |
Good article! Thanks to op and aribisala on all your contributions. Amor4ce, how you dey, long time. ![]() In Yoruba cosmology, aspects dealing with physical matter and manifestations are paired and opposite, always! For that reason if you follow in the narration of the descent of the Odus, when they descended into material space their positions and ranked inverted.....a mirrored or polar repositioning. Amor4ce, your response is correct. The 401 deities would be an adherence to that protocol of numbering in double or paired and opposites; where the 200 becomes 400. Then why the. odd number 1? That is the veil. Anyway, chech these out. http://ebookbrowse.com/odu-256-ifa-xls-d43221857 http://www.ifafoundation.org/ifa-blog/2012/4/4/the-labyrinth-of-the-256-odu.html |
Dede1: The typical indulgences in the act of loud mouthing and craving for the niche to propagate falsehood by the Yoruba peeps have deliberately identified them as irrelevant trolls. The moronic ninnies such Kadiri started by alleging the Ndigbo produced a song titled Ewu na ebe Akwaa to taunt the northern Muslims and Christians over the death of northern politicians killed during the January 15, 1966 coup."debunked", really?? Please share the counter speak that debunked Kadiri. ...and oh, be sure its not some nonsense from okoroman and his spitting vent about hausa/fulani and yoruba oligarchy and the sokoto caliphate. |
Osun•Ife:how is their aggressive act to flush out indigeneous Yoruba tradition different from jihad? |
t9, ...did you read Kadiri's article on Achebe and Adichie? Before igbos start clamoring for ICC and human rights intervention they should pick up Kadiri's article and read. Kadiri said they circulated leaflets showing the picture of dead Balewa with a rooster perched on top. ......and the mofos wonder why gambari unleashed terror on them. whhatt! ![]() |
Great.....and compliments of the season to you all. . You becareful when you go home for xmas.. |
Thanks. So I thought previously that the Obi is the highest ranking monarch of the land, now I know better. In any society you can ultimately converge overall leadership and authority in one person on top. If there are three subgroups under the Igbo nation then who is the topmost authority, would it be Eze Aro or Eze Nri? I understand that Eze Aro is political and authority over sovereingty of Alaigbo. Eze Nri is priest and has authority over spiritual rites and customs of Alaigbo. What role does the third one, Eze Agbo, hold? |
PointB: Nigeria is an interesting country. Once anyone loses out in the power game, they come up with all sort of theories. Things have fallen apart indeed. as if Nigeria's woes started today!....when did the woes start? |
ndu_chucks: You, like GEJ, are looking at the bokoharam problem as a Northern problem while ignoring the fact that Nigeria is at war. This sir, is the worst failure of 'leaders' like you and GEJ. I predict that you people will hear from bokoharam in Isale Eko and Port Harcourt before Kano falls.rotflmao!!! There is a corporate strategy based on the science of "flooding and damming" and I dont know what the theory is called but I understand the concept well. It is believed the US applied this strategy politically to dismember USSR and force capitalism on them. China is doing exactly the same thing to US now. Here is how it works: You pump investment into your rival's market and economy (flooding) and generate high volume of money circulation which invokes a false sense of worth. Putting faith in their swollen discretionary money, citizens respond massively in increased consumption, which in turn produces more loans and debts. When the society is soaked in overlays of debts, you begin to use soft instruments of debts to rescue people out of their tangible and secured debts.......in other words escalate the burdens. People will soon learn, painfully, to conserve and live within their means. This action is bad for market and business and therefore business owners begin to conserve and shrink. When supply is more than demand of goods and services thhe currency devalues, worth and values shrink, the market implodes on itself (dam). This strategy can be applied to various aspects of social living. Aplying it to the demographics, the Igbos who form the main target of hatred in the North, can "dam" their population volume and turn the hatred to Hausa-Fulani-Kanuri rivalry. Israel continues to enjoy political relevance because of the Palestinian issue. If the conflict ends, Israel will not be an everyday topic in news and will soon be irrelevant in corridors of global power......so the war must continue. The day Igbo depart core North their jihadist will loose cause against Christianity and turn the dagger and bombs against one another in a new rivalry that will depose the Emirs. Can Igbo do that, I doubt it. ![]() ......be sure to train desert jihadists how to swim before they embark on a journey to Isale Eko. We will use them as blood sacrifice to Olokun, fill Eko Atlantic with their drowned carcass. |
This will be the third time since independence that the authority of the Emir of Kano is challenged by an Islamic jihadist.....twice by maitatsine and now by boko. Is Fulani at risk of loosing this Emirate? |
ndu_chucks: (1)Are Fashola and Tinubu Omoluabis with sense of personal responsibility, social and civil obligations and communal support and uplifting?oh, ok.....my screen went blank for a minute. ![]() If their actions and behaviors are such that they need to be tempered, Afenifere would have done so. Again, Afenifere is a pan-Yoruba group.......its not a pan-Nigerian group. So while we see nothing wrong in Fashola and Tinubu, our rivals and competitors may see them otherwise and consider their presence as barriers to their nefarious intent for Yorubaland. Let me ask you to defend the insurgency and chaos in North. It is crystal clear to see now that Arewa is more vulnerable and faces the risk of implosion should bokoharam be allowed to gain control of Kano, the most important Emirate of your people. |
ndu_chucks: You've provided very instructive info about Afenifere. I'd appreciate your honest answer to this question: Are Fashola and Tinubu Omoluabis with sense of personal responsibility, social and civil obligations and communal support and uplifting? Has Afenifere failed in its duty to step in and recalibrate either Tinubu or Fashola?...what's the question you want me to give honest answer to? |
Dede1: Do not pay any mind to the fool that goes by the name Yusuf Maitama-Sule. He was one of the foot soldiers to Ahmadu Bello who canvassed for northern region for northerners. He supported a mere Lt Col to usurp the position of Head of State when there was a superior officer with the rank of Brigadier and second in command to the so-called missing Head of State. This moronic dingbat joined forces with ill-informed dullards to persecute a war against the group of people that wanted meaningfulness in philosophy, intellectualism, politics and creativity.Maazi, ......in which month in 1966 was the referred "innocence" killed? |
ndu_chucks: Kabiyesi, you sound like a bonafide member of the Afonja Descendants' Union, currently presided over by Alhaji Abdulkarim Olola Kasumu.lol@Afonja Descendants Union. I am not but if I was I would wear that badge with honor. In as much the descendants of Dosunmu carry their legacy, foolishly, with pride and are equally celebrated in society, the Afonjas deserve the same celebrity status. Afenifere is to the people what Ogboni is to the Obas....."the enforcer"! Afenifere has enforced the policies as necessitated by the political circumstance, in real time, to keep the West in calibration to the ethos of "omoluabi". Omoluabi is a package, it comes with an expected sense of personal responsibility, social and civil obligations and communal support and uplifting. When it appeared our leaders were loosing their omoluabi in the 60s, Afenifere stepped in and recalibrated them. Never has Afenifere concerned itself with calibrating non-Westerners, if it did Yorubaland would be inhabitable for non-Yorubas. So on a national scale, Afenifere, in past and in now, by insisting on a standard of discipline and self-love, had acted as an involuntary policing agent for the Nigerian govt and helped kept the West peaceful and violent free. |
