"The unity of Nigeria is non-negotiable" sounds like pray away the unemployment without "looking for work"

The country is failed state already .The society has collapsed .

PoliticsRe: The Damage Tribalism Has Done To Nigeria by oduastates: 8:32am On Aug 12, 2017
Nigeria is simply unworkable because of the differences .
It is easy to tell why
Even all your past presidents ran the country like local chiefs with their respective kinsmen forming their inner circle .

PoliticsRe: Adeyinka Grandson Invited By UK Police Over Hate Speech by oduastates: 8:58pm On Aug 08, 2017
Adeyinka is a clown . A keyboard warrior commanding his imaginary army from his laptop
The Adeyinka guy is a fantasist and can be a nutcase at times but I cannot for the life of me stand Ogundamisi, the selfie merchant Omojuwa and the other clowns who think they are some kind of oracle of wisdom.
Those who follow them should carefully parse their words .
If you can parse and filter out the rubbish coming from mouth of this guy , his Facebook page contain a lot of relevant information( historical books ,event and matters relating to Yoruba culture)
This adeyinka guy is right on one thing . Ogundamisi is already bought and paid for . A complete sellout .
Anyone who doubt it should check how ogundamisi treat the rampage of herdsmen.

PoliticsRe: Abuja-kaduna Rail Line Now Generate N1m Daily- Amaechi by oduastates: 2:09pm On Aug 08, 2017
How much does it cost to operate the train
N1 million only . Less than $4000.
This is the problem with Nigeria.
Profitability and self sustainance is never considered when projects are being selected .
This project will continue to require spending from the federal budget to continue operating .
Better ,more populous and profitable routes were neglected for this route

We already have a thread for personal achievements . This was suppose to be about business and industries and industrialists .

PoliticsRe: Ozubulu Killings...eyewitness Report by oduastates: 6:40am On Aug 07, 2017
While you cannot discount rogue uniformed officers (according to this report, it is also unlikely that the perpetrators are the usual suspects. Fulani herdsmen and Borno terrorists slash ,burn , maim and kill in order to strike fear in their victims.
This on the other hand was targeted at this particular location . There are numerous villages around this location . Why was this particular village attacked out of the other numerous and potentially softer targets.
The villages around the udoji forest reserve would have been more vulnerable targets if we were to follow the writer's narrative.
Like I said , immediately I read this story , I checked google maps . Those who attacked the village are likely ,very familiar with the place .
You cannot discount any possibility but the story of other being responsible is very unlikely

When you followed Google map sheepishly, you might end up in a place you never dreamt of.

Let me tell the truth, Ozoubulu has no common boundary with all those places you mentioned.
It is bounded by villages.those are some of the the big cities surrounding it.
PropertiesRe: Aloysius Nnamdi Ikegwuonu "Bishop" Building House In This Recession! by oduastates: 9:51pm On Aug 06, 2017
Almost impossible for an outsider to perform a targeted raid/ operation in that geographical location .
The attack seems to have been one location .
This is definitely not the mindless violence of Fulani herdsmen and their terrorist cousins in maiduguri.

The first thing I did when I read about this was to check the location on google map .
That Ozobulu does not border any non Igbo state/town/city/village
It has by onitsha to the north and ,owerri to the south ,Agbor to the west and okigwe to the east

Has anyone got close to the dregs who populate the local government before?
I have . Nothing good will ever come out of LGA autonomy.
The worst set of human beings can be found in the LGA .Not to talk of the extra control Abuja will have over them and that includes using allocation and corruption as blackmail to get LGA to acquiescence to allowing herdsmen to run rampage .

DerideGull:
I remembered when the seaport at Igweocha (Port Harcourt) used to rival the port at Apapa, Lagos. However the conspirators (elites from defunct northern and western regions including the so-called minorities in the southern Nigeria) decided that Ndigbo were the problem. Since then the seaport at Igweocha has gone to the wind.
At what point in Nigerian history did any port rival lagos ports.
I am willing to place a bet that no port in Nigeria today or otherwise is/was not as busy as the lagos port of 1600BC.
