I captured on the 20th of October in benin and since then I was able to track my passport but yesterday I checked and it's showing "No matching application status found for application number"

Has anyone experienced this please help

NOTE: I followed the diy route

Try again. It should be in production stage which is the second to last stage. The last stage is Passport Issuance.

Update.
I got to their office here in Jos to capture after registering and paying the 2,600 online Dec 31st.

They asked why I did it online that I will still have to pay another processing fee of 15,000 naira for them to open file et other nonsense they were saying.

Please guyz, what is the way forward? I have no intent of paying extra money for something that is 2,600.

I tried calling NIS line, they picked, sounded off and referred me back to the Servicom office they tried to extort me 🤦🏽‍♂️

Check thru your passport. You see where caution is written.
Guarantor is not needed for reissue.

Before now, a letter to renew your passport is compulsory for renewal.

Birth certificate is not required at all.
They didn't even ask or should i say letter to the passport controller to renew passport isn't included on the list.

Went for capturing today. Though registered in December.

Documents that were requested for Renewal.
*Passport application page.
*Payment receipt(I paid online)
*Appointment slip
*Copy of NIN slip
*Photocopy of expired passport data page
*Photocopy of the caution page(Check the passport you will see it)
*2passport photograph
A File and brown envelope.

I believe once you have all your documents for fresh/reissue, the process will be smooth.

Kudos to the officials at Festac passport Office. Smooth process aside the crowd and going back and forth waiting room sitting and waiting till you get called for the next stage.

DIY Renewal though. If you are not in a hurry for your passport, i will advise you go the DIY route.
Captured today. Hoping that the issuance/production stage will be smooth and wont take ages.
