Other countries are making laws to harness social media for economic benefits. In Nigeria, social media regulation is to control free speech.
The guilty are always afraid.

I was about to type the exact thing you said.

Since they don't have any credible and qualified person in the university make them appoint me pls.
One would have thought à university would have a smooth transitional programme.
Universities can determine the progress of a country -at least in saner climes.
But ours here keep churning out strange characters.

They will still abuse the man.

I am 100% sure that most of the abusers will be the unemployed and unemployables on our society

Of course, does who enjoy won't complain.
The unemployed have every right to complain.
I think that's what democracy is all about.
If you think the unemployed don't have a right to complain then ....

Pets / Re: Drama As Goat Opens Tap To Drink Water After Owner Closed It (Video) by Odunolumide(m): 6:09am On Nov 15
That goat is more intelligent, and humane than the owner. In fact, the goat should own the owner.

I honestly don't think that 'goat' is intelligent.
Reasons: If you find yourself in that situation ,will you continue opening the tap?
Is that an intelligent solution?
The intelligent solution would have been to solve the problem and continue with your effort.
He should have found a way to eliminate the human causing disturbance so he can continue with his effort.
If that was an automated program turning off the tap,the goat will at one time be frustrated and won't even enjoy the water.
If a human was in that situation -at least an intelligent human- the best course of action will be to eliminate the person(obstacle) turning off the tap.
That is logical reasoning and critical thinking ,humans can do both but animals can't and this is why animals can't be as intelligent or creative as humans.
If you think that 'goat' is intelligent than humans then I am sorry.

Everything God Created is Good, wonderful and Perfect!

Some of these animals are even more organized than Humans..

Stupid talk.
Because 'goat' dey use mouth open tap?
You are undermining God's power self, animals aren't created in God's image ,humans are.
Even the Bible says one should not always have a reply for everything, some times be quiet .
You should not have to post on everything.
If you don't know what to say,pls shut up.

Education / Re: Share Your Experiences Being Flogged in Secondary School by Odunolumide(m): 4:17pm On Nov 13
In England People don’t beat animals and pets, how much more children?

Blackman and life of many many abuse

The same Englishmen brought flogging to Nigeria. I can prove that flogging wasn't introduced to Nigeria's education but rather flogging was an essential part of it. The culture of flogging is deep rooted to the very beginning of formal education in Africa and it will take more than the usual "'England people' don't beat their children" sentiment to abort the flogging culture.

Anyways I think of myself as being receptive enough to champion the "no flogging" campaign if parents are willing to take responsibilities.
You can't just drop a bad cultured irresponsible ward in school and expect teachers to perform magic.
Parents need to do more.

Education / Re: Ogun Institute Students Protest Death Of Schoolmate Rejected By School Clinic by Odunolumide(m): 6:34am On Nov 05

At this point, we can only speculate...since we don't have his medical history.

1.Possible injuries include a head injury, fractures to any bones, or even internal bleed from ruptured major boood vessels.

2.School clinics can only render first aid, then refer to a higher hospital.

3.If the gent had a fracture...especially skull fracture....that's an injury that is best treated in a TEACHING HOSPITAL....or similar level hospital. Wiith a consultant orthopedic doctor...and even a consultant neurosurgeon on standby. Not at a school clinic.

Infact, if the guy had multiple fractures.....and I was the school clinic nurse on duty, I won't even touch the patient...not if I want to keep my licensse to practice. Refer, refer.

The fact that the guy was knocked down is enough to assume there would most likely be some major injury. In such a case...refer, refer to the nearest biig tertiary hospital...where investigations can be done

4.As for clinic not having fuel...see why ASUU and ASUP go on strike. See why some of us can't stand corruption.?

You keep shouting refer refer refer. You said clinic can only offer first aid, why didn't they at least offer the victim first aid?
Did you know that victim's movement during an accident is important if you want to save their life? The clinic should at least try to receive the victim and make him comfortable on a stretcher and at least a clinic should have resucitation facilities and then provide ambulance services while referring him to the hospital.

If an ambulance/paramedics can be equipped to attend to an accident victim before they get to the hospital I don't see why a clinic/nurse can't provide similar services.
