Doesn't look secured at all.... intelligent terrorists can easily fire rockets from the top of that rock. Beating Nigerian security system is not a task at all.

Security will actually start from the top of that rock. I am sure there is an observation post on top of the rock. In ancient times, natural barriers are usually the best source of defence and are usually the best type of defence as you can predict where the attack will come from.

Obviously, if Forbes was aware they were into fraud or anything illicit, they wouldn't smell the list. We should read to understand not just jump to comment.

Amazing stuff. In the world of intellectuals, there is nothing like 'school na scam'. Very superb innovation I must say...Unfortunately, some misguided persons think they can climb into Forbes list as ritualists and fraudsters, without knowing that progressive wealth has no short cut.

People do actually climb into Forbes with fraud lol. Invictus Obi for example and an American Lady called Elizabeth Holmes(you can read her up).
Na who dem catch be barawo.
Needless to say, SAY NO TO FRAUD.

grin

Firefighters are a part of the failed government, giving them a brain resetting beating is a way the people pass the message that Nigerian government is useless.

Imagine waiting so long after calling fire service and they turn up to a raging fire with an empty tank!

Wonder how long it will take the government to get the message.

Some centuries back, I killed such a monster.

This is a true adventure...

I was on my way to Timbuktu to see a gold merchant when I saw her....

She was the most beautiful girl my eyes had ever had the fortune of seeing.

www.nairaland.com/attachments/12267848_arabby_jpega745f129b472004eeff14e2e171f7264

Our eyes met and I felt a jolt of 10,000 volts course through my body ( though electricity wasn't yet discovered then) undecided

I was informed that the village tradition was to sacrifice the most beautiful virgin to a monster as yearly snack cry

Talata (her name) was the chosen one. She told me sadly that she had less than a fortnight to live. undecided

"I would die for you" I said. Back when "for better for worse" meant something....

We spent steamy nights together, her virginity already past tense.

And then, the time came for the sacrifice.

On my way to the mountaintop to confront the monster, I went to see the village witch.

Seeing is believing. One thing I have noticed in this country is that , we have good policy makers and sometimes the government do try to do their best but the thing is the chain of administration is too long. The government has to be decentralized , that is when we will begin to enjoy. If you know that the Local Government is responsible for providing you certain things and the state government can not lie to not have money. People can easily hold them responsible as they are close by , but imagine waiting for directives from Abuja on everything, lots of bottlenecks that will have diluted the funds before it even gets to you.
However, I no that government can only try because the world is being controlled by a bigger force who wouldn't want them to succeed. (Ephesians 2:2 , 1Peter 5:19).
Humans are imperfect and can only try (Jeremiah 10:23).
Only God's kingdom can bring an end to human's suffering. (Revelation 21:3-5).

Money money money.
Oh how important it is!
It can't add a cubit to one's lifespan.
But it can make sure your life span isn't subtracted from.
It doesn't buy you happiness
But you can buy happiness for others with it.
People say it doesn't guarantee you heaven but even the Bible says: " Make friends in righteous places with your unrighteous riches (wealth) .
Money money money.
Don't stay far away from me I beg.

If I have PhD and still apply for such jobs , it is only because I am looking for "ifa money" "greediness" not because I am unemployed. If you have Phd and you are unemployed then it is either you don't want to work or you have low self esteem .Needless to say , school isn't scam. IF YOU THINK EDUCATION IS EXPENSIVE TRY IGNORANCE .

And I am sure most Nairaland members are ignorant and they will soon come with their "school na scam" mantra.

Health / Re: Mojisola Adeyeye: It Costs Two Million Naira To Destroy A Container Of Tramadol by Odunolumide(m): 7:23am On Aug 26, 2020
Jman06:
The people who genuinely need the drug have the lower strengths (50mg) in regulated pharmacies.

The ones mostly abused are the higher strengths (100mg, 200mg etc), and given how bad the Nigerian open drugs market system is, NAFDAC should intensify efforts towards ridding the country of the drug.

I remembered when I had muscle issues and couldn't walk for 2weeks , the pain was really excruciating .Tramadol was the first line of drug b4 hospital fit help me. It was then, I knew that drug pass drug. I wouldn't say I abuse trams, but once in awhile I still get that episodes. Imagine if I can't get Trams, imagine the pain.
But I guess they are more concerned about the bad guys and do not care about the "good ones".

The way they talk about the tramadol makes one to wonder if it's not still a controlled drug. Why desipating so much energy on something doctors still recommend?

I guess it is just to limit the supply and discourage people from importing it. Thus creating artificial scarcity .If it isn't available , less people will get it.
