She is not working. But we dont have househelp and she doesn't fetch water which was d most difficult work in the house, cos we live in a 2storey building. I do that myself and at times employ someone to do that 4 us. She doesn't wash clothes as we have people washing for us. The children are 4 and 2 years old. Thanks.

Both the husband and the wife decide together,you should have talked about this with her before getting married so you don't fall into such problems after the wedding.Anyway no need crying over spilt milk,both of you should have a one on one talk.Ask her the reason(s) she wants only 2 kids.Have you considered maybe her last 2 childbirths were a painful experience.
Do you have the finances to manage/train/raise 4 kids? Better yet visit a family planning center.Hope this was useful 2 u?


I remembered when I was to get married. I sat my honey down. We agreed on a whole lot of things, even though not written.

1. How many number of children we would have. (3)
2. Where we would like to reside be4 we build our own home. (Surulere)
3. How much will go for savings every month. (=N5K)
4. Do we need a househelp or not. (No househelp)
5. Who will stay with us when we have our babies. (My mother i.e her mother in law)
6. Where are we going to settle down after retirement etc. Between Ogun st and Oyo St)

things like this and many more shd be discussed and agreed upon be4 marriage, so as not to pave way for argument and disagreement that could jeopadise interests in yr marriage.

IT IS 1 OF THE MOST INTERESTING AND LOVING THING TO DO. WHERE ON EARTH DID U THINK TAKING CARE OF THE BABY, LIKE CHANGING DIAPERS ETC ARE THE DUTIES OF A WOMAN.

PLS MEN, RISE UP. WE CANT LEAVE EFRYTHING TO THE HANDS OF THE WOMAN ALONE. AND IF THEY BECOME GREAT IN D FUTURE, WE WILL STAND AND SAY "HE/SHE IS MY CHILD". SCHOOL FEES ALONE DOES NOT MAKE YOU THEIR FATHER.
WOMEN NEEDS REST TOO. PLS AND PLS ALLOW THEM REST, SO THAT THE NIGHT CAN BE FANTASTIC.

After childbirth, my wife started snoring. I did not see any wrong in that, becos I know I am fully responsible 4 dat as she doesn't snore when we were courting and when I eventually maaried her.

I have learn't to cope with it.

My advice is that, don't always apportion blame to others, check yourself and see where you have contributed to the ill.

Love is all about tolerating and considering what others feeling might be.

I am proud to be a muslim and will like us to be cautious when we judge people base on their utterance and action. Islam is a religion of peace and that is divine. Problems with those who instead of preach what is in the scriptures (both Muslims and Xtians) is Sycophancy ,how do we say we know more than the Almighty God who created us. How many of our wrong doings have we been punished for ? Can we really fight in the true Religious way ? How many soul are we winning by out attitudes. I love the  recent speech  by Pastor Tunde Bakare when he said he hates the word religion (that its a bondage) he said he prefers faith. Who are we deceiving ,even all of us posting here ,what have we done in our different beliefs to impress our own heart that we are what we preach.  Go ye into the world and preach the gospel ! that's what the Bible said and the Quran also emphasis that no one is good in speech than someone who call others to prayer. How long are we going to continue with all this ? Tribal & Religious  sentiments and we need a change  !

I want to say clearly that I have read through all the post here.

With due respect to any of the religion, I want to say that we must be cautious. Xtian and Muslims alike. I do not know why we need to be circulating rubbish for the sake of formenting trouble here and there.

Has anyone here watched this film tiltled "Take heed? If you have, you will discovered that no reasonable being or sect or religion should be offended by it.

It addresses every of our religion. Starting from Family to Babalawo, to Cherubim & Seraphim etc just like that. It was solely not for Muslims. why crying wolves when there is none?

I have this last word. Muslims irrespective of who you are, should not think you have monopoly of violence. Just because xtians over the years have not been retaliating whether in the south or the North is immaterial. Both Bible and Quran preach PEACE, if the Muslims did not desist from this rubbish and their thirst for blood,  they should be ready for a MATCH. It is a Xtian movie beckoning on Xtians to "Take Heed" and know their GOD.
If xtians were to be attacking Muslims on every of their preaching against xtians, because it is their modus operandi to always use their preaching to counter or preached against xtians everytime and everywhere, they would have seen that in numbers and fighting spirit, we are not their match.

I commend LANRE for his piece, and hope he will be a voice to his people to sheath their sword, otherwise no one lives to tell the story of a war.
It has never happen in the West be4 and if it happens now, I bet anyone, it shall be bloody. We are not unmindful of the consequences.

Another thing. Don"t sleep without settling whatever grudges or misunderstanding between both of you. Dont ever capitalise on your spouse weaknesses to get back to him or her. Help him/her to get over whatever weakness you might notice. His/her weakness is also your weakness. Work on it once and for all. Let him or her know at every given opportunity that you still love him/her.

Try or strive to understand your spouse as much as possible. Dont think you are always right. And bear in mind that whether right or wrong, u must conceed to him or her most of the time.

Communication is another key. It does not matter what the level of argument or misunderstanding might be. Dont sleep without settling it.

Learn also to trust each other. Knowing fully well, that you are in it not for 10years but for life. give it whatever it takes in love to get to the promise land.

This road is becoming something else!

Just be prayerful and careful.

I have not had time to read through, but from yr first post. I discovered u r going thru some hitch in yr marriage. It has happened to me be4.

all did was to take a closer look at myself and tell myself the truth, that I am stressing my wife on certain things, that ordinarily I shd not.
What am saying is that I look more of inward than blame my wife. And as if GOD was waiting for me to accept my wrong, He changed my wife's focus and we make up.

Pray on it and tell yrsef d bitter truth, dont be selfish. dont expect what u r not sure he can give/has d capacity to give. Pls look mat how u better d situation. I pray the devil wl not get yr marriage IJN.

Pls subtly discuss it with yr hussy. Make sure he is in good mood, cos men can be somehow when it comes to brotherly matter.

And get a committment from him that he wl not mention you anywhere. Let him know u just pity him and the burden.

But let me not deviate. I presumed yr wife shd even ask u, how much u are earning from yr job. Not only for her request but for other things like Savings for upcoming children, projects like personal house and finally for her to know where to come in, to help you or support you, whether financially or otherwise.

Pls my advice is, dont wait 4 her to ask. Tell her. I was saved so many stress becos my wife knew how much I earn, what the saving will be at the end of efry mnth for our own project and our 2children schl fees.

Pls dont make a mistake. Call her and plan together. That is the basis 4 u to know some things about her too, but if u hide and u r demanding submission and transparency, U wll meet wt waterloo, becos she wl refuse u even yr right as her husband.

To say I love yr post/comment is an understatement. I tell you. Yr solution was because you acknowledged whatever be yr portion of the blame( am not saying you are solely responsible).

The solution to any problem is accepting your own wrong and making up yr mind to repent and change henceforth, life is all about accepting mistakes and error and departing from it. It cuts accross ethnic, culture and races.

I am happy for you that u got yr love back unto yr side. Life can be Heaven on earth and at the same time Hell on earth, due to yr decision.
