Bros grin

Even us on rentals are pitying those on HP. Met a driver on HP at Admiralty. He pays 35k weekly and that particular week, uber blocked him for phone issues and bolt blocked him for poor rating...

In all, this job is difficult. Only die hard cabbies can take home something either on rental or HP

Driving your personal car is the perfect option for this job.

God bless you too bros cool
peace

I believe so cus if u don't get request in uber u might get in bolt it has been working for me though I don't know of others
most times if am on a trip on any of the app and am about to get to the destination like 5 minute away I will put on the other app and luckily request might come even before I drop rider on the previous app so most time I don't wait too long.

I hail drivers doing rentals this season. I drive my own car and ever since I started I make sure i remit 25k to myself every week and sometimes I make btw 15-20k extra after all expenses. But this week I was only able to make 7k after remitting 25k. It's tough.

Have been using Airtel 4g lite ever since and I don't Have problem with it
Epphy:
With Taxify, WiFi works much better. Etisalat is probably the best network in Naija, I recently stopped using it though because it is too expensive.

That's the only problem I have with bolt the cancellation fee issue what I usually do if I get a request on bolt I will drive to the location and swipe arrive the on my Uber app if I call the person and no response I will wait for five minutes then cancel most times I don't even wait for 5 minute b4 I get request on Uber as soon as I get request on Uber I cancelled bolt request.
0taPiaPia:
But we can all agree Bolts app is crappy. From paused fare rate to driver did not respond when you actually did down to outright error. In all this your rating keeps dropping for in app faults. Again no cancellation fee ( you get to pickup point and rider doesn't show up and doesn't pick your call and after like 10-15 you dicide to cancel and continue your hustle all for free huh )

BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by ofime123(m): 8:13am On Apr 10, 2019
They are coming for u
xoo32:
I live in Lekki.

I am not an Uber partner neither am I am everyday rider as I drive, but I have never ever had any issues when it comes to riding on Taxify, as that is the only ehailing app I use. I sometimes even joke with the drivers when they ask me “should I start the trip?” I tell them no please take me free. Then they laugh and tell me how most people cause trouble if they don’t show them they’re starting the trip before starting it. (I wonder how much is the difference? #50naira? #100?)

Most times my girlfriend comes to see me, or request for Taxify from my place to where ever, and what she does when she gets to her choice of destination is she’ll just tell the driver please give me your account number or please send it to the number who requested for you he’s my boyfriend and will make your transfer. And no one has ever had any issues with her or be afraid that she’s not paying. Most times I tell her, “you get mind o”. Every single time they leave and call me and I just tell them to send me the bill plus account number.

I think most times the minute you enter any Taxify, the driver quickly “sizes” you and know if you can be trusted as a rider. And when they conclude that you can be, they feel more comfortable and relaxed.

But my major problems with Taxify cars is neatness, I don’t need anything extra. But don’t come to pick me up with your car being all dusty angry like your car has not seen water all week. I mean I might be going somewhere important and how do I pull up in that? Also I spent money dry cleaning my outfit. This takes out one star.(This is the biggest problem, please clean your cars)

Also some can be very dumb. Be smart when you have to be and be slow when you should be. Don’t be so slow all the time. Especially if I have somewhere important to be and I am a little late. (We all should understand this). Takes or keeps another one star.

How’s the maintenance on your vehicle? Are your legs making so much noise? Will your shock absorbers cause me waste pain when I alight from your car?

Brother tell them.
Megadrop:
Bros, must you work on the island all the time, moreover you tend get more of long trips on the mainland. I don't know why drivers attach so much importance to working on the island where you find a lot of them waiting forever in their vehicles for trips that won't exceed #500. As an uber driver you should be ready to go anywhere trip takes you to during the day and by so doin you earn more. In this work positioning is key. Stay on the mainland and scout for trips instead of blowing empty back
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by ofime123(m): 4:45pm On Apr 04, 2019
Las Las Na the same money we go make
Gentlelife50:
Lolz, how dare you compare our island to your mainland?
grin
Is it in terms of better roads or what?
Even law enforcement agencies don't operate much on the island, reckless keke drivers, bikes behaving anyhow and all that.
Yes we have kolo drivers on the island too but their madness is manageable.

franksam2009:
Have anyone experience this issue before?
I spent Abt 6 hours in a big stop and little move traffic 2day, I noticed my car started overheating if the AC is on and the brakes is held for a long time, but it doesn't overheat if it's in neutral, like if I Don't hold the brakes it won't overheat, I have changed the radiator cover and it's still dsame,.
And I also noticed the car just developed strange power, like it can climb a mountain if I let go of the brakes and it makes a big relief sound if I should move from 'D' to 'N' if AC is on
Please u guys that spends much time on the road do u experience such,. Plz be sincere,Do u still have ur themostat? Cos I am thinking of removing my themostat cry

Don't mind him me that have already made 16k today b4 5pm
izzou:
A very unnecessary line to use

The driver is providing a service, and you are paying for it. Stop making it look like you are paying him for free and doing him a favor

Before you start seeing 15k as 15billion, I've taken someone offline from Dolphin to Alpha beach, to and fro, and he paid me 15k without any negotiation

The guy's offer was 15k....Simple. What has laziness got to do with that? So no uber driver made 12k today Abi? Or going to Abeokuta to and fro for 15k is the best deal someone can ever encounter?

This is business oga.... Make your offer and whoever it pleases will take it. Dont make people look stupid because they declined your offer.. Over a thousand offline trips were done today. Your own is just one

Okay sir am not exposing anyone but why are they complaining if they block them permanently?
Gentlelife50:
If u expose them what will you now gain? Aproko. The country itself is it not scam? Ordinary to buy fuel they will scam u. Government will also scam the subjects, teachers, lecturers and even business men in this country are all scammers.
They even say if you are honest with your business it won't be honest with you.

Nb: I am not supporting what they do, all I am saying is mind your business nobody send u work. Even Uber and Taxify knows about all of these but they somehow benefit from it too.
BusinessRe: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by ofime123(m): 12:38pm On Mar 02, 2019
