SaintBishop:Is this not the same argument that some Igbos are making regarding the Ikwerres, that encourages you guys to view those Igbos as landgrabbers? So shouldn't an Igbo man be justified in referring to Ogoni people as landgrabbers, following the claim you made above? Personally I don't mind whether they see or don't see themselves as Ogonis. I'm totally neutral |
Graysons:Eleme belongs to Eleme people. Not Ogoni. Eleme people are quite vociferous that they are not Ogoni people. |
These grand hoax by Buhari and Miyetti Allah to polish both entities images, by arranging this grand kidnap, and Miyetti-assisted rescue. I cannot be fooled. Buhari and MACBAN are involved in this grand 419, of course with the assistance of certain northern governors, and their usual southern enablers. |
blamingthedevil:It has just been revealed that the group that carried out the kidnapping is Miyetti Allah, Buhari's group. So obviously the whole kidnap charade is a paddy-paddy thing, to make Buhari appear active. Just in case you have forgotten, Buhari is the grand patron of Miyetti Allah, which means the group will do whatever it can do, to make Buhari appear competent ![]() |
It seems like a lot of kids are in this forum. It is clear he's making an indirect reference to ESN. When he talked about Wike disparagingly, what do you think he was referring to? Or you want him to come out and say things in ways kids will understand. I won't be surprised if he has a hand in the formation of ESN |
One died of Corona. Two are suffering from dementia. Anyway I suspected Tanko had dementia once he announced that Uzodinma that came fourth in the Imo election, all of a sudden came first |
Ikwerre is an Igbo expression Iwhuruoha is also an Igbo expression, which is the same as IRU OHA. The Face of the Public. Both expressions don't have Bini roots. Both expressions have Igbo roots. Make of it what you will. Ekwuchakwam |
What about people like Allen Onyema, Chimamanda Adichie, Kingsley Muoghalu |
I see the regent of Agukwu-Nri blessing the kolanut |
Fahdiga1:And those Same Yorubas, as ugly as they usually are, will be under the Onitsha headbridge begging Igbos for money, in spite of the fact that they've been offered employment by Anambra state |
The best rendition of the Nigerian anthem I ever heard. Unfortunately, Nigeria is saddled with highly uninspiring, illiterate and devilish leaders. |
kutashi:Here you are yet again with your incoherent babble. So far I have been using the word INVITE. It covers SUMMON and SUBPOENA. So far you seem to admit that an English monarch was once invited by the UK parliament, which automatically rubbishes Sagay's illiterate claims. You also seem to be admitting that Bill Clinton was SUBPOENAED (a sort of forced invitation) to appear before the US Congress. As you can see,. Buhari can be invited and he has no excuses or precedence to use as a cover, for not appearing before the national assembly, if invited |
kutashi:You can scream all you like. Bottomline is that the US congress can invite the US president in pressing matters. Go and study the presidency of Bill Clinton and get a well known example of the US Congress inviting a sitting president. EXECUTIVE head of government and state The UK Parliament also once invited a sitting king. They tried him, condemned him, and had him executed. EXECUTIVE head of state Buhari has no escape route. That is if your illiteracy will let you see the cogent points I am making |
kutashi:So is 1670 no longer a year on earth? Anyway at least you seem to now accept that at some point the UK parliament invited, and even tried and condemned a reigning monarch. What your almajiri brain should have tried to find out is this. Why in 1670? Why not now? The simple answer being that following the execution of the absolute monarch Charles I, the UK parliament took on a huge chunk of the executive roles that monarchs used to perform in the UK. Today, monarchs are just ceremonial, they don't employ executives of the administration. Only ELECTED representatives can wield such executive powers in the UK. In Nigeria, you mumus made Buhari the EXECUTIVE president of the country, but now you want us to see him as a ceremonial monarch, who plays no part in the employment of the security heads of his government. Let me make it clear to you almajiris that the president is THE CHIEF SECURITY OFFICER OF THE NATION, therefore it is within the purview of the national assembly to invite the president to answer queries on SECURITY lapses in the nation. When Buhari made sure to leave out a whole zone, from the security leadership of this country, it was not questioned. Today, those security leaders employed by Buhari are now making a mess of the country's security, and their employer must answer for their failings after all he employed them. |
kutashi:Another one that didn't finish his almajiri education. The US that we model our democracy after, you mean to tell us that the US congress can't invite the president of the US, who is both the head of state and head of government? King Charles I was invited by and tried by the UK parliament, and sentenced to death and executed. King Charles had executive powers so he was still held accountable, and dealt with, by the UK parliament. Buhari is not a ceremonial monarch. He is the executive president of Nigeria, and as the head of the executive, the Nigerian parliament can invite him when it deems fit. That Buhari is the head of state, doesn't mean he is no longer the head of government. It is he, who employs all the security ministers and DGs, so the national assembly can invite him to answer questions regarding the security situation of Nigeria. The queen does not employ the UK secretaries and ministers. Also there is no Fulani terrorist problem under the purview of the UK monarch, so the monarch can never be invited by the UK parliament to answer for Fulani terrorists, as there are no Fulani terrorists in the UK, and also the monarch is not responsible for employing the security heads of the UK. I will advise you guys to educate yourselves. We are not all fools that you can confuse. |
KizitoMike:I'm not bitter at all. Why should I vote for someone, who may not even be the most beautiful, in the competition? I will like to see the pictures of all the contestants, before I can make my choice. But to be honest, she doesn't seem to have what it takes, to win a pageant in Igboland. |
She is not beautiful enough to win a beauty pageant in any Igbo state |
Emekaonline:You guys are pure illiterates. Buhari is not being summoned because he is a father or a husband or a son or a head of state. He is being summoned because he is then head of government. Secondly, the British don't have a written constitution, but in spite of this, the British parliament invited Charles I of England. In fact they even sentenced King Charles to death when they found him guilty of treason, and his execution was carried out. This is in spite of the fact that Charles was more of an absolute monarch, than Queen Elizabeth II.. Back then British monarchs had executive powers. Now those executive powers are being exercised by the prime minister, so that is why it is unlikely for British monarchs to be invited by parliament, because they are largely ceremonial now. Nothing prevents the British parliament from inviting the British monarch today, but what's the point, as they no longer have executive powers, and to do that, an MP hostage will be held by the palace while the monarch is attending his parliament invitation. Buhari has no excuse whatsoever. He has executive powers and just like King Charles I, he can be invited. It is clear Sagay and Buhari are stark illiterates. They can pull this wool over they eye of their supporter illiterates |
But the. British parliament can question the prime minister. Buhari is not the king of Nigeria. Idiots |
blackpanda:Of course he only appoints the dimwits that voted him in. Igbos did not vote him in, so we don't care whether he appoints us. Meanwhile your people couldn't even make it past the common ICC exams to take in junior judges, while an Igbo lady may soon lead WTO. Talk about merit |
blackpanda:Of course you guys elected him as the president. As democrats, we Igbos accept the foolish choice you guys made. But we never voted for him and will never vote for him. We are too intelligent to be fooled the way he fools you guys |
Please don't include Igbos in this your nonsense. We made sure not to vote for him |
chrisxxx:I don't have to cajole you to hate northerners as I know they already hate you. 2015 proved this fact 1966 coup was led by a SSner, or you now see him as an Igboman. Now because Obigbo people have more oil than your people, you call them OYIGBO so that Ijaws and Ogonis will make attempts to have them deny their Igboness. The day they assert their Igboness, you call them Igbo migrants. Unfortunately for you they speak Igbo and have a huge chunk of their people in Abia, thus making it impossible to win that battle. Willink's report has already exonerated Igbos, as extremely fair to the minorities of the former eastern region, so I don't have to consume your typical Northern propaganda against the Igbos, while they are in your region consuming your oil resources. Anyway, God made sure to store huge reserves of gas (tomorrow's energy source) in the SE to balance the equation. ![]() |
chrisxxx:Yes, we saw how the north fought hard to reelect GEJ in 2015. We saw how the north made every attempt not to kill of ALAMASIEGHA, the former governor of Bayelsa. We saw how the north did not try to insinuate that corruption in Nigeria started with GEJ. We saw how Tompolo was allowed to roam free during Buhari's first term, while labelling Fulani killer herdsmen As terrorists. What a real slave you are. Again this is the nonsense that Kanu, the worm that thinks himself a snake, has caused |
Both Wike and Kanu, are bad news for Ndi-Igbo. Igbos will do well to disregard those two charlatans. Wike must still be punished for killing Obigbo people. |
For quite a few years, I have been making it clear to all that the SE is home to the largest reserves of gas in Nigeria, but some poured scorn on this factual claim. The SS and SE have possibly about 95% of oil and gas resources in the country, while the remaining 5% goes almost entirely to the remaining southern zone. Igbo-speaking LGAs in Rivers state are the two LGAs with the largest oil reserves in Nigeria, namely Oyigbo and ONELGA, so oilwise, Igbos have more than their fair share in that. |
Nwokem, go and produce half of the central bank that you stole |
What do you expect them to do? THey are only trained to kill unarmed civilians, so their training is not very elaborate |
You think you can retire Wike with Ikwerre votes? Please move this to the jokes section |
