Some people will definitely eat rotten agbado on reading this news today. ![]() That's the real president of Nigeria, showing class |
Acekidc4:If he doesn't trust an Igbo man, what reason does he have not to trust Aisha Ahmad? Tinubu has been forming that he is in partnership with northerners, especially Fulanis. Why did he choose to sideline a northern Fulani? |
Stenewiser:Tinubu struggled to get up to 5% votes from Nigeria, let alone Igbos |
IamDietiesGod:First of all, there is the need to ensure that real Lagosians start becoming the governors of Lagos. Since 1999, no true Lagosian has ever been elected the governor of Lagos state. Lagos has to be run by true Lagosians. All these people coming over from Iragbiji, and massacring real Lagosians at Lekki tollgate, while at the same time forming Lagos, will not work. I believe it's time for real Lagosians to take over the governance of Lagos state. Legendhero I hope you agree with me on this. |
SultanOfAbia:But Tinubu strictly deals cocaine and heroin |
Congrats to him. With his typical Yoruba skull |
thisisit:i believe Reno Omokri supported this project. In fact he launched a heavy ethnically-based insult on Dr Oby Ezekwesili, for criticizing the project. It is important everyone realises Reno Omokri is part of the whole scam |
LegendHero:I think we are in agreement with the bolded. Obi is coming |
LegendHero:Oh so you think I'm Pazienza. I'm not . I have only ever been Ofoigbo or Ofoigbo2. But I've even deleted the Ofoigbo2 account. Peter Obi is teaching the boy Tinubu a lesson from multiple angles. Peter Obi has the election tribunal, Obidients and the organised labour in his pockets. Look at how the organised labour got various commitments from this inexperienced government. Meanwhile he still has the PEPT threat hanging over him, with INEC lawyers helping to establish the 25% rule in Abuja ![]() Tinubu is being run ragged |
sonature1:Tinubu tried to play his usual ethnic politics and noticed it didn't work. By the way, Obidients prefer a situation of no strike, as they don't want interruptions in the ongoing election tribunal sittings. They don't want any strike delaying the kicking out of Tinubu asap. So it is a win-win for Obidients ![]() Legendhero take note |
LegendHero:So it is no longer that NLC in the southwest and north won't participate. Now Tinubu has chosen to rely on the judiciary. Joe has clipped Tinubu's wings. Tinubu has been shown to be completely unpopular in the nation. Look at the way a lot of unions keyed into NLC 's planned strike. Meanwhile it means the election petition tri unal will continue sitting. No one has any respect for Tinubu. He is now beginning to find out that he can't play his usual ethnic politics in Abuja. And btw, strike will always be in the offing, if petrol price is not reverted |
These guys need to understand that Nigeria is not Lagos. Their divisive politics may work in Lagos. It definitely will not work in Nigeria. In the rest of Nigeria you have the great Igbo race, the noble people of the southsouth, and the mighty middlebeltans to neutralise all these una stomach infrastructure politics you play in Lagos. I am sure Tinubu is gradually learning that lesson. Just to recap. Strikes and protests commence on Wednesday, if the drug boy wants to play hard man. Legendhero take note. |
AareGaa:Those doing illegal refining are usually locals from oil producing communities, who have been virtually shut out of the highly lucrative sectors of a resource that is underneath their feet. Peter Obi is indirectly talking about empowering people in oil producing communities. They are not just good for being security men for oil concerns that have been granted to Fulani businessmen. So Peter Obi is well in order. The two points Obi mentioned are very legit |
Legendhero I hope you are reading this thread. It will seem that NLC chapters in the southwest and the north will take part in the strike and protests ![]() Peter Obi is really teaching Tinubu some lessons. Let us know who blinks first. I keep telling you guys that Tinubu is only a tingod in the southwest. He didn't win the election. He only rigged himself in. The lack of respect people have for him is gradually showing and will definitely snowball into something else, if care is not taken |
AareGaa:Peter Obi never mentioned N100. I did Peter Obi proposed that before fuel subsidy is removed 1. There has to be wide and extensive consultation with organised labour 2. That he will grant licences to those who are are ready to set up modular refineries including those that are currently refining illegally. These two points would have helped calm nerves and ensure that the organised labour has an input in the new reality. Tinubu did none of those. He just went on air to say SUBSIDY GONE, without consulting with the organised labour, nor ensuring there is an alternative affordable source of petrol. This is the height of incompetence |
renderme:Answer my question. Are those modular refineries licensed by Buhari operational? The answer is a deafening NO. So why remove subsidy when this critical game changer is not yet in place? Obi is head and shoulders better than Tinubu as an administrator. |
renderme:Are those modular refineries online presently? Because if they are not, just consider them another yahoo-yahoo promise from the Buhari/Tinubu stables. No wonder Obi is considering issuing those licences to people who are currently refining illegally. At least there's a proof they can refine Obis proposal remains the best |
renderme:Peter Obi additionally proposed granting licences to modular refineries. That would have been a game changer as 1. They will be operating in naira 2. The fact that there will be a number of them will automatically guarantee competition with the resultant low price of fuel, perhaps even around the N100 per litre level or less |
Ofunaofu:Legendary, your drug boy rigger is playing a conciliatory note, agreeing to consider the demands of TUC which includes reverting the price of petrol, as negotiations continue. Peter Obi is indirectly showing Tinubu some expertise in subterfuge ![]() |
LegendHero:Babies pee in their pampers. Guess which of them still pisses in his adult pampers. In just a matter of few months, Obi achieved what took the drug boy, more than two decades, and yet he still had to rig for it. |
LegendHero:You don't know Obi. He's already proved to be ahead of Tinubu by winning an election. I expect more unions and other pressure groups to declare support for NLC's proposed strike. I hope the Obidient movement lends its support also. Tinubu is going nowhere. The masses are feeling the pinch of this hash policy. The masses will ignore all these political sectional calls to ignore NLC. |
sapele914:I don't know whether some of you are mentally challenged or what. How many times will we tell you all that no one is against subsidy removal.. Tinubu should have adopted Peter Obi's subsidy removal strategy. You cannot remove such a critical component of our national welfare, without having programmes in place to soften the blow. Tinubu and his team should read all of Obis fuel subsidy removal strategy tweets. He is even just a phone call away. Peter will help them out without gloating or making the matter public |
Parachoko:I know that's the narrative your likes want Nigerians to believe, in a attempt to keep Igbos down. It didn't quite work out for you guys, as Nigerians massively voted for Peter Obi, which is why you resorted to rigging. Thankfully Obi is in court to recover his mandate, and Tinubu made it a little easier by showing what an awful president he will be, by removing subsidy without bringing in measures to soften the blow for the general population. |
Parachoko:There will be strikes in both Lagos, and the most important city in Nigeria, Abuja And you will not be able to do anything about them |
Parachoko:The most important thing is whether Obi's votes were suppressed. Obi possibly got up to 25% in Sokoto. This will help to get him scale the constitutional requirements before one can be declared elected. |
seeyounow2:where |
Legendhero I hope you are perceiving the Armada that will hit the country, caused by Tinubu's gross incompetence. I have no doubt other little unions, and possibly some political parties may start identifying with NLC and supporting the coming strikes and protests. You have to realise that while you all worship Tinubu in Lagos, the rest of Nigeria have no regard for him. He must climb down from his high horse now, or his government is doomed. Someone that stole a mandate the way one steals cocaine, cannot be showing wicked braggadocio totally ignoring the pain he is inflicting on the poor masses. He should have followed Peter Obi's roadmap for removing subsidy |
Ellu Peeee!!!!! Nigga don started sumthing. Obi kicked some serious asses |
tinsel:It will work, because both obidients and BATists are affected by the sharp subsidy removal with no cushioning. Even some BATists will be involved. Just admit that Tinubu has just shown himself to be supremely incompetent. Peter Obi would have handled this situation much more gracefully. |
Tinubu has already put millions of long suffering Nigerians in harm's way, by unilaterally removing the oil subsidy without putting measures in place to ameliorate the situation. NLC is not against subsidy removal, however NLC is against doing so, without proper consultations and policies to make it less painful on the general population |
tinsel:You probably don't know that NLC and TUC are the two most major stakeholders in the Labour party right from inception.. it is their right to back their baby. But Tinubu has plunged the nation into this great suffering, and NLC is duty-bound to play it's part in ensuring that the needs of the general population are well taken care of. You can't just wake up from your drug induced stupor and plunge the nation into a mess and expect that the citizenry will fold their arms. PDP, LP, NLC, TUC and Obidients all believe in subsidy removal, but they all want measures put in place so as not to cause a huge shock to the system. All these groups will support any strikes or protests organised to stop Tinubu's madness. You cannot blackmail NLC this time around |
