In short, you are having issue with Nigeria having more value. Just say it
You clearly didn’t even bother to check the facts before typing all that. Liberia, one of the countries Trump invited for investment parley, is not a French-speaking country. it’s English-speaking, it’s not 'majorly French-speaking countries' as you claim.

Secondly, if Nigeria truly had 'more value,' as you put it, maybe supporters like you would raise the standard of discourse instead of relying on weak deflections and false superiority. This isn’t about envy it’s about calling out misinformation and holding leaders accountable, something every country, including Nigeria, desperately needs more of.

PoliticsTinubu Didn’t Ask Me To Lie, Harass Journalists – Information Minister by Ofunaofu(op): 7:25am On Jul 10, 2025
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, said President Bola Tinubu never asked him to lie, arrest, or harass any journalist because of unconstructive criticism and reportage.

Idris stated this while receiving a delegation from the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE) led by its General Secretary, Mr. Onuoha Ukeh, and Deputy President, Mr. Sebastian Abu, in Abuja on Wednesday.

According to him, in spite of negative criticism and alleged defamation of character by some journalists and members of the public, the President had never given him a marching order to arrest or harass anyone.

“There are times when the media instigate tension, but Tinubu never urged me to alter the narrative, lie, arrest, or harass the perpetrators.

“This is because the President is a true democrat who respects the rule of law. Also, the Federal Government believes that it cannot operate without the media, which is the fourth estate of the realm.

“We used to have some individuals who would want to go overboard, but I have always engaged the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NGE, Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria, and others on issues that are brought to my attention.

“I have always said that when we do good, praise us, and when we are not doing well or going overboard, tell us constructively so that we can improve.”

He said that the Tinubu administration is media-friendly and will continue to be, and therefore the media should not use isolated incidents to conclude that the government wants to gag the press.

The Minister noted that Tinubu’s commitment to press freedom led to the establishment of the Media Literacy Centre (MIL) at the National Open University in Abuja by UNESCO.

According to Idris, the country has passed the hurdles and is now at the final ratification stage of Nigeria getting the host.

“This is a great achievement, because when established, the MIL Centre will bring stakeholders from across the globe to Nigeria.

“This will enhance media literacy in our country and checkmate the spread of fake news and issues of misinformation and disinformation in the country and the world at large,”
Idris said.

I can understand Governor Radda’s pain, he knows the ADC tsunami will sweep him away come 2027, just like the APC tsunami swept most Northern PDP governors in 2015.

He should rather direct his question to his party, the APC, and to Tinubu, and ask them to tell Nigerians what they’ve done with the trillions of naira saved from subsidy removal.

Not this vague explanation the government keeps giving that the money has been invested in 'critical infrastructure.' Which critical infrastructure? The notoriously fraudulent Lagos-Calabar coastal highway?

Politics97 Lawyers Line Up To Defend ADC, Mark, Aregbesola Against APC’s ‘Fake Lawsuit’ by Ofunaofu(op): 9:16pm On Jul 08, 2025
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has assembled a team of 97 lawyers to challenge what it describes as the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s ‘fake lawsuit’ against its interim leadership, including former Senate President David Mark and former Minister Rauf Aregbesola.

The legal team, led by Barrister Mohammed Sheriff, made this known in Abuja on Tuesday, accusing the ruling APC of filing a suit using the names of individuals who are not members of the ADC.

This development follows a stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja between Senator Mark, who is now the ADC’s Interim National Chairman, and the party’s Kogi State chapter.

‘We Are Equal Stakeholders’
At the meeting, Mark assured Nigerians that under his leadership, the ADC would operate with total transparency and would not favour any presidential aspirant.

“I don’t own this party more than any other member… All Nigerians must come together and take ownership of the ADC,” he said.

He urged party members to set aside their differences and focus on building a united political force, warning that Nigeria’s democracy could fail if citizens remained passive.

The ADC chairman also criticised the APC, saying the ruling party should focus on fixing its own policy failures rather than targeting individuals.

“If they admitted that insecurity was bad and promised to improve it but instead made it worse, should Nigerians continue to support them? The answer is no,” he said.

APC Accused of ‘Machiavellian Politics’
The ADC alleged that the APC had fabricated names in its lawsuit against the party’s interim leadership.

According to the ADC, investigations showed that the supposed plaintiffs in the suit were not registered members of the party in either Kogi or Nasarawa State.

ADC slams Tinubu over Nigeria’s exclusion from US-Africa trade talks
“It smacks of desperation that a party entrusted with leading 200 million Nigerians would engage in such dishonesty,” the party said.

Mark used the occasion to call for national unity and encouraged Nigerians to support the ADC’s vision of a reformed and people-centred democracy.

“Let us work together to rebuild this nation for future generations,” he urged.

Barrister Sheriff, head of the ADC’s national legal support team, confirmed that 97 lawyers had volunteered to take up the case.

PoliticsADC To Tinubu: You Wouldn’t Be President If Jonathan Had Crushed Opposition by Ofunaofu(op): 4:04pm On Jul 08, 2025
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has cautioned the Tinubu administration against clamping down on opposition parties, stating that the president himself benefited from a democratic environment under former President Goodluck Jonathan.

The party said recent actions by appointees of the federal government suggest a deliberate attempt to weaken the growing opposition movement, which it described as a threat to Nigeria’s multiparty democracy.

The party called on President Bola Tinubu to demonstrate statesmanship by curbing the excesses of his aides and show respect for pluralism.

“The president needs to prove that he is truly a democrat. He must remind his men that if the Goodluck Jonathan administration had behaved this way, the APC would never have come to power in 2015, and he would not be president today”, it noted.

In a statement issued on Monday, ADC Interim National Publicity Secretary and National Coalition Spokesperson, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, alleged that former state chairmen and key executive members of the party from the North East and North West zones were invited to a secret meeting with top federal officials.

“We have credible intelligence that this meeting is not for national security or peacebuilding,” the statement said. “Its goal is to intimidate, coerce, and possibly recruit these individuals into a scheme aimed at undermining the opposition. This is not politics. This is sabotage.”

The party said the motive is to create division within its ranks, delegitimise its new leadership, and derail its emergence as a credible alternative to the ruling party.

It added that attempts to woo or pressure party officials in the name of political engagement are nothing short of a “coordinated assault on Nigeria’s democracy.”

“This is how one-party states are born, through fear, coercion, and manipulation,” Abdullahi said.

He linked the development to the recent unveiling of the ADC-led opposition coalition, which he said has rattled the ruling party.

“It is now obvious that the Tinubu administration, having lost public trust, is unable to face a united and credible opposition. Instead of addressing the country’s challenges, it has returned to the old playbook of destabilising rivals,” the statement noted.

The ADC warned that the ruling party’s tactics were pushing Nigeria toward dangerous political terrain, and vowed to resist what it called a “desperate bid to silence opposition voices.”

“This party belongs to every Nigerian who is tired of the lies, the hardship, and the manipulation. We will not allow a few desperate men to take the country backward. We will resist them through every democratic means available,” it said

Atiku and Obi are never going to work together for anything politics.
Atiku refused zoning the presidency to the south in the last election. That is why Peter obi ran against him in Labour party.

Peter obi is promising one tenure because he knows he can not be vice to atiku after sabotaging him in the last election in bid to return power to the south after 8years of north rule.

Snake rufai is gradually subduing Obi with humility hoping to take over from him should Obi gain the support of the coalition and win the 2027 polls and honour his one tenure plea.

In the end, It would be found out that obi is not a member of the ADC and so is El rufai. They needed it to create a discourse.
Stop spreading lies, falsehood, and propaganda.
Atiku never refused zoning; rather, he said that if the party zoned it to the South, he would not participate. Fortunately, the PDP threw it open.

Politics2027: Will Tinubu Hire Another Batch Of Fake Pastors And Clergymen? by Ofunaofu(op): 10:08am On Jul 08, 2025
In the run-up to the 2023 elections, Bola Tinubu, desperate to sanitize his unpopular Muslim-Muslim ticket, shamelessly paraded a group of fake pastors and clergymen dressed in borrowed robes, an insult to the intelligence of Nigerian Christians and a disgraceful mockery of their faith.

It was one of the most cynical acts of political theater ever seen in a Nigerian campaign using religion as a prop and disrespecting millions for cheap political gain.

Now, as 2027 looms, one can’t help but ask: Will Tinubu once again gather another rented crowd of impostors in cassocks to sell his agenda? Or will Nigerians finally see through the disguise?

PoliticsEx-katsina PDP Chairman Dumps Party, Joins ADC by Ofunaofu(op): 9:35pm On Jul 07, 2025
…Says PDP Has Collapsed, Vows to Continue Political Struggle in New Platform

KATSINA — Hon. Salisu Lawal Uli, former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Katsina State, has officially resigned from the party and pledged allegiance to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) under the Coalition of Nigeria Political Groups.

In a resignation letter dated July 2, 2025, Uli cited dissatisfaction with the PDP’s leadership style since 2022 as the reason for his departure. He accused the party of abandoning accountability and discipline, noting that internal mismanagement signaled the imminent collapse of the PDP.

“Signs began to manifest that the PDP’s collapse was imminent when some members began to see themselves as demigods, beyond discipline, no matter the level of atrocities they committed,” Uli wrote.

Having been a PDP member since 1998, Uli assured his supporters that his political mission to “liberate Nigeria and Katsina State” would continue under the ADC, which he described as “a more democratic, ideological, disciplined, and reliable platform.”

His defection comes amid wider discontent within the Katsina PDP. Recently, a faction loyal to former Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Mustapha Inuwa, also quit the party. This group included 287 former candidates and aspirants for House of Assembly, Chairmanship, and Councilorship positions.

Chairman of the Local Government Chairmanship Aspirants’ Forum, Alhaji Yasir Ibrahim, said internal betrayal and deceit forced them out of the PDP. “The PDP is no longer an opposition party in the state. Hence, our decision to join the coalition for a stronger front,” he stated.

In a related development, Dr. Mustapha Inuwa, now a prominent figure in the opposition coalition against the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), accused the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, of colluding with top APC members to destabilize the PDP.

Speaking at a political gathering in Katsina, Inuwa vowed to resist any external manipulation of the party’s structure in the state. “We will not fold our arms and allow a single person to control a party with thousands of members in Katsina. We will ensure justice and equity prevail,” he said.

The growing movement within Katsina’s political opposition signals a realignment of forces ahead of the 2027 general elections, with the ADC emerging as a rallying platform for disgruntled PDP members and other opposition blocs in the state.
