Godfullsam:And APC gave theirs to the lowest bidder in 2023, I guess the one with the highest intellectual capacity and the capability to provide quality leadership to Nigerians |
temitope27:Everything is actually right people in that region don't elevate D-lord certificate forgers, credit card thieves, internet fraudsters, and US COVID-19 relief fund scammers to godlike status. |
PureFace1:Of course, Tinubu jumped from AD to AC, then to ACN, and eventually APC |
Wickedlywicked:When Tinubu aligned with the Fulani, it was “strategy.” When Obi explores alliances, it's “desperation”? Save the hypocrisy. Politics isn’t sainthood, your D-lord played the same game. Don’t rewrite rules just because the player changed. |
Godfullsam:Why didn’t you say that the APC should have given their ticket to the South to enable the South complete an eight-year tenure, when Tinubu formed an alliance with the North in 2015? The ADC is not bound by the internal arrangements of the PDP and APC to rotate power between the North and South. The ADC is focused on finding a candidate from any part of the country with the intellect, foresight, and capacity to defeat Tinubu and end this wicked and draconian regime |
seunmsg:When Tinubu forms an alliance with the Fulani, it's called building bridges and political strategy or whatever. But when it's Peter Obi, it's labeled desperation. Your hypocrisy is out of this world. |
mrvitalis:Infact, PDP should give their presidential ticket to Wike unopposed so that we can see his electoral worth ![]() |
Godfullsam:When Tinubu forms an alliance with the Fulani, it's called building bridges and political strategy or whatever. But when it's Peter Obi, it's labeled desperation. Your hypocrisy is out of this world. |
TemplarLandry:You are yet to 'kiss the truth' I say make I remind you sha ![]() |
Ikaeniyan0:When Tinubu was rambling, bulabaying, balabuing, screaming Emilokan' in Abeokuta, it wasn’t Shettima’s presence that saved him, it was the silence of Nigerians who chose to laugh instead of cry, not knowing that his emergence would bring untold hardship: soaring hunger, deepening poverty, crippling insecurity, a worthless Naira, and a collapsing economy. listen, criticizing incompetence isn’t 'mockery'; it’s called holding leaders accountable something sycophants like you will never understand. Throwing around ‘Igbos,’ ‘Obidients,’ or ‘IPOB’ like insults doesn’t prove a point, it only exposes your tribal insecurity. This isn’t about tribe; it’s about the future of a country being run into the ground by men who specialize in propaganda, lies, falsehood, photo ops and praise-singing. So yes, we gonna ‘keep wasting our time’ speaking the truth while you keep licking boots for crumbs and Tinubu's dilápidatéd mandate |
helinues:What exactly has His Excellency been assembling. Hardship, inflation, or record-breaking unemployment? If that's the 'legacy,' then maybe it's time a so-called novice steps in. |
Agbádoriáns were jubilating all over, falsely claiming that Tinubu had granted local government autonomy. But today, the situation is far worse than it was before. In fact, Tinubu through the instrument of state capture and in connivance with his “charge-and-bail” lawyer, the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) has stifled development at the grassroots by refusing to release funds meant for local government councils, especially in Osun State |
This is no longer a leaking roof. the roof has been blown away by the wind, and now the rain is beating everyone |
Obviously trying to understand, understudy how a supposedly independent legislative arm ended up a rubber stamp, tied to Tinubu's apron strings |
I hope the Agbadoos will now call Dangote a bitter soul and an enemy of Nigerians who doesn’t want Nigeria to work. This is the same insult they hurl at sane Nigerians who exposed the lie being bandied about by the Tinubu government that the refineries were working. Even Obasanjo received such insults from the Agbadoos when he told Nigerians the truth and debunked the lie that the refineries were not working |
Amplify the renewed shege that has been inflicted on Nigerians since the coming to power of the most wicked and draconian regime in the history of this country. |
Tinubu is a cursed man He doesn't work with one deputy |
Like play, like play, this man has yet to jail a single high-profile politician who has looted our common wealth. Even Yahaya Bello, whom he swore he would jail for stealing over 80 billion naira of Kogi State's money or resign if he failed , is now walking free and preparing to become the APC national chairman. |
NgeneUkwenu:What if it's an Atiku/Obi ticket Aren't you considering that |
NgeneUkwenu:What about the northern states Taraba, Bauchi, Adamawa, and Zamfara? Aren't they interested in the APC? |
Tijani009:Nothing will happen Such a president declaring State of emergency removing democratically elected institutions is a mad man |
NgeneUkwenu:From where, only plateau state Will eventually move, Rivers state is under siege already Which other one? |
If this happens, will it be the end of Oyetola's governorship ambition? |
The Interim National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and former Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, has declared that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be unseated in the 2027 general elections if opposition forces unite under a common platform. Speaking during a stakeholders’ meeting with party members in Akure, Ondo State capital, Aregbesola said the ADC is building a broad coalition of progressive-minded Nigerians to challenge President Bola Tinubu’s administration. “Let us put personal interests aside and unite. We have multiple elections ahead—presidential, National Assembly, and state elections—and with unity, we cannot be defeated,” Aregbesola said. He emphasized that the ADC has received significant support from leading opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party’s Peter Obi, who he said are backing the ADC-led coalition movement to reposition Nigeria. Aregbesola also cautioned members to expect coordinated propaganda from the APC, aimed at destabilizing the movement. He urged party loyalists to remain focused on the task ahead and not be distracted by false narratives or internal divisions. Also speaking at the event, Hon. Gbenga Edema, former governorship candidate of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Ondo State, accused the ruling APC of manufacturing propaganda to cast doubt on the legitimacy and unity of the ADC-led coalition. “The court cases being hyped are mere distractions. They have no bearing on our political activities,” Edema said, while commending Aregbesola for providing clarity on internal and national issues during the meeting. Former APC chieftain and ex-Special Assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Hon. Akin Akinbobola, decried the current state of the nation, calling on all progressive forces to join the coalition to “rescue Nigeria from sinking.” “Nigeria is in distress — insecurity, hunger, and collapsed infrastructure are everyday realities. The ADC is offering a vehicle to restore hope through unity and reform,” Akinbobola said. He also revealed that the coalition is attracting growing support, with over ten political parties already participating in recent strategic meetings. It will be like a tsunami sweeping across the country. The challenge is managing the size, but there’s room for everyone,” he noted. The event in Akure marked a renewed push by opposition elements under the ADC umbrella to rally public support ahead of the 2027 elections, as dissatisfaction grows over economic hardship and governance issues across the country. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2025/07/2027-adc-will-dislodge-apc-aregbesola/ |
beerfraud:Of course he will work for Tinubu and both will be sharing the south votes. We all know that Tinubu's over 5 million northern votes is gone and gone for good. |
beerfraud:I know you're clearly having nightmares over that combo, and for good reason, because with that combo, the election would be over before noon. Tinubu would be beaten blue-black like a common criminal. |
Allen Wogu shouldn't have bothered responding to that notorious drunkard. He was obviously under the influence of a forty-year-old whiskey. |
Fiscus105:Let’s deal in facts, not blind loyalty. Nowhere in the Constitution does it state that declaring a state of emergency equals dismantling democratically elected institutions. Extraordinary measures are meant to support governance, not replace it with authoritarian shortcuts. What happened in Rivers State isn’t order, it’s a coup d'état wrapped in executive overreach. If Jonathan was weak for not removing elected leaders, that weakness was actually respect for democracy. Using 'power' to override the will of the people doesn’t make one strong, it makes them dangerous. Strength in leadership isn’t proven by suppressing democracy, but by upholding it even under pressure. |
The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, has urged the National Assembly to pass the Unexplained Wealth Bill, which has been pending since the Ninth Assembly The chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Ola Olukoyede, has urged the National Assembly to pass the Unexplained Wealth Bill, which has been pending since the Ninth Assembly. Mr Olukayode made the appeal at the National Conference on Public Accounts and Fiscal Governance, organised by the Senate and House of Representatives Public Accounts Committees. “In the last three weeks, we started a commission-wide investigation into the extractive industry, particularly the oil and gas sector. What we have discovered is mind-boggling. “We have only just opened the books. So much more corruption is to be unravelled. If this is what we’re seeing at the surface, imagine what lies beneath. There is a very strong connection between the mismanagement of our resources and insecurity,” said Mr Olukoyede. The anti-graft chief added, “When you look at banditry, kidnapping, terrorism, trace it back, and you will find a pattern of corrupt practices and diversion of funds that were meant to improve people’s lives. “Help me pass the Unexplained Wealth Bill. I’ve been begging for the past one year. This same bill was thrown out in the last Assembly. If we don’t make individuals accountable for what they have, we’ll never get it right. “Someone has worked in a ministry for 20 years. We calculate their entire salary and allowances. Then we found five properties, two in Maitama, three in Asokoro. Yet we’re told to go and prove a predicate offence before we can act. That is absurd.” The EFCC boss urged Nigerians to set aside their creed, politics, and ethnic sentiments to block revenue leakage and save the country’s economy. Mr Olukoyede said that Nigerians should not fail to take advantage of the opportunities presented by President Bola Tinubu’s administration to block revenue leakage, as it could spell doom for the country. According to him, no amount of capacity will be able to recover half of the resources stolen from Nigeria, as many host countries are unwilling to repatriate them. He said that the best option was to prevent corruption, stating that failure to do so would lead to Nigeria’s demise due to corruption. https://gazettengr.com/anti-corruption-efcc-begs-senators-reps-to-pass-unexplained-wealth-bill/ |
