Burob:Chasing the wind? Interesting take, because what you’re calling misadventures is literally how alliances are built in politics. That same move you dismiss is exactly what created the possibility you’re now reacting to. But instead of dodging, channel that energy into something useful. tell Nigerians what Tinubu has actually done to deserve a second term. Break it down clearly. How his regime have positively impacted the lives of ordinary Nigerians Because right now, you are buying fuel at painfully high prices, using that same fuel to power generator just to charge your phone, because Tinubu has failed woefully on the promise of stable electricity, and then using the same phone to defend the very system putting you in this precarious situation. If that’s the hill you want to stand on, at least explain why it makes sense. At this point, the reasoning deserves to be questioned as much as the argument. |
Willy2025:Leaving the Labour Party wasn’t a mistake, it set the stage for today’s Obi–Kwankwaso alliance. Without that move, this wouldn’t exist. |
When I see people defending the Tinubu regime, I just regret… You buy costly fuel, run a generator to power your phone, then come online to defend this failed government? That’s wild....honestly, it defies logic Infact, it's mental illness |

damoobaba:You are in more pains and anguish reason you are irritated by the comment |
Britishpea:I am consoled with the fact that you didn't dispute any of those names |
seunmsg:Wike rebuild which Party I don't really know what some of you guys smoke |
HacheNoire:What is the format of a notorious drug baron, identity thief, and certificate forger who has plunged this country into unprecedented debt, inflicted untold hardship, fueled hunger, worsened insecurity, and left Nigerians in darkness? |
WizardOfNG:Not towards me, but towards Peter Obi, yes. What crime has he committed? He simply wants to vote and be voted for, like every other Nigerian, including you. That’s his right, and your right as enshrined in the Constitution. You ask if I’m progressive, if I love Nigeria. Of course I am. I’m a progressive, and I love this country. But you, I doubt it. |
WizardOfNG:Are you a moderate, democratic, courteous, tolerant, and constructive individual? |
On the strength of mere rumors that Obi and Kwankwaso might join the NDC, Tinubu and the APC have suddenly discovered that the party’s registration process is “suspect.” At this point, independent candidacy should be adopted and written into our electoral law immediately |
AMINDA:This is exactly the point. There’s a clear difference between being a supporter, an admirer, a fan, and an actual ally, and blurring those lines just to score cheap points online only weakens the conversation. This has become Tinubu supporters stock in trade, they go fishing for random opinions on Twitter/X that seem critical of opposition figures, then spin them into loud, empty threads as if they’ve uncovered something meaningful. It’s a distraction, nothing more. Instead of this constant fixation on what the opposition is doing or not doing, the real question they should be answering is simple: what has Tinubu done that genuinely earns him a second term? That’s the conversation Nigerians deserve. But rather than engage on substance, they keep circling back to noise. |
stuffs2002:At this point, it’s clear you’re struggling with simple English. You’re comparing two different things. I said the ‘gbajue’ crooner hasn’t accessed the Bola Tinubu government after almost three years, despite promising to do so within one. That’s not the same as claiming I said Wole Soyinka never criticized Tinubu |
Ballmer:You should consider comedy, because this has to be a joke |
stuffs2002:Can you show proof where I made such claims? |
Starhearts:Wonderful! On the election day That's some real flawless defeat I must say |

Tinubu should declare himself National emergency It has gotten to that point now |

Nigeria today has sunk under Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s calamitous leadership |
stuffs2002:So now criticizing Bola Ahmed Tinubu has become “fighting Nigeria”? Tinubu has been a catastrophic failure. Look around, how much is a litre of fuel today? He protested against subsidy removal under Goodluck Jonathan when prices were lower, only to remove it himself without adequate safeguards, inflicting severe hardship and worsening insecurity. Tinubu has failed, woefully and spectacularly and the country is clearly drifting. Let’s be honest about it. So stop the gaslighting |

Tinubu treats insecurity and poverty by sharing rice |
Tinubu to workers: My government is treating insecurity, poverty as national emergencies President Bola Tinubu says his administration is treating insecurity and poverty as national emergencies, warning that the twin challenges threaten jobs, productivity, and the overall stability of the country. Speaking through George Akume, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), at the 2026 Workers’ Day celebration held at Eagle Square, Abuja, Tinubu said the crises have been treated with urgency under his administration’s renewed hope agenda. “There cannot be decent work where workers fear for their lives, where wages cannot feed a family, or where insecurity disrupts farms, factories, markets and other economic activities,” the president said. He described insecurity and poverty as “hydra-headed challenges” that undermine livelihoods and erode confidence among workers and employers alike, in line with the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) decent work agenda. The president highlighted several interventions rolled out by his government to tackle the issues, including the recruitment of 45,000 young Nigerians into the community protection guards initiative for enhanced community security and job creation. Tinubu also called for continued dialogue with organised labour, urging the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) to treat strike action as a last resort rather than the first option. He commended security personnel for their efforts and reiterated his administration’s commitment to improving working conditions, ensuring fair wages, dignity of labour, safety, and equal opportunities for all Nigerians. https://www.thecable.ng/tinubu-to-workers-my-government-is-treating-insecurity-poverty-as-national-emergencies/ |
I thought Femi Gbajabiamila asked him to remain there and scatter it, so why is he now running away from the assignment Gbajabiamila handed him? |
AMINDA:You know them so well. They speak with so much confidence, but underneath it is pure fear and apprehension. Their confidence isn’t based on the fact that Bola Tinubu is popular or has performed well; it’s because they realize he’s a huge failure and a catastrophe, and they believe he’ll use state apparatus to snatch it, grab it, and run away with it like a notorious criminal |
