ADC are not a competent alternative to anything.

3 factions, a useless registration portal not for for purpose, infighting, back stabbing and various court cases etc.

Then add on the fact that Obidients are starting to clear their throat to display their madness.

Nothing competent there.
The best part is you’ve already admitted Tinubu is a disaster who had no business getting anywhere near Aso Rock, talk less of running the country. That alone settles it.

Everything else about ‘factions’ and Obidients? Just noise and bad gaslighting

My utmost satisfaction is that ADC will be on the ballot, giving Nigerians a competent alternative to this Tinubu cataclysmic regime.

Nigerians will rejoice and the ‘Egyptians’ they see today, they shall see no more. Because in four years of the Tinubu regime, there has been no cause to smile, only pain, hunger, strife, hardship, economic decline, worsening insecurity, and relentless blackouts.

This regime has been nothing short of destructive, like a mission designed to kill, steal, and destroy.

PoliticsADC Unveils Power-sharing Plan Ahead Of 2027 Elections by Ofunaofu(op): 6:16am On Apr 28
The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has unveiled a new power-sharing framework aimed at keeping Nigeria’s opposition united ahead of the 2027 presidential election, amid rising concerns over internal rivalry.

The proposal, described as a “collegiate system,” is designed to move away from winner-takes-all politics and promote collective leadership even after the emergence of a presidential candidate.

Naija News reports that a key figure in the party’s reform drive, Lukman Salihu, disclosed the plan on Monday while speaking on The Morning Show on Arise TV.

He said the initiative would ensure that governance, if the party wins power, is anchored on teamwork rather than individual dominance.

“The new framework we are trying to put together is a collegiate framework. It is not a framework where one person will be the winner of everything,” Salihu said.

“Our leaders are committed to ensure that if we produce the next government, it is not going to be like an emperor presiding over an empire… It will be a collegiate team spirit, whereby all decisions will be taken jointly.”

The development comes as political competition intensifies among opposition figures, including Peter Obi, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar and Rotimi Amaechi, whose supporters have continued to push rival agendas.

However, Salihu dismissed suggestions that the growing tension signals division within the opposition.

“What you are seeing is contestation, and when you have politics without contestation, then it is no longer politics,” he said.

Explaining the model further, Salihu said the framework is designed to keep all aspirants engaged, regardless of the outcome of the primaries.

“One person will emerge, but will emerge as part of a team, not someone who defeats others and pushes them out of the race,” he said.

He also expressed confidence that key figures would remain committed to the process.

“I do not see him (Amaechi) walking away if someone else emerges victorious. He will remain part of the same collegiate system,” he added.

The ADC chieftain disclosed that the party has already developed its governance blueprint, anchored on a manifesto adopted at its last convention.

“The party set up a 50-member committee to work out its policies and manifesto. As we speak today, the manifesto has been adopted at the last convention,” he said.

“The manifesto is all about ensuring citizen-centred governance, whereby all the issues confronting Nigerians are addressed.”

He noted that internal disputes had delayed its public presentation but assured that the process would soon be concluded.

Salihu said the party is also working on a structured screening process for aspirants to ensure credibility and public acceptance.

“Part of what we also want to do is to ensure that we put in place a process whereby the screening of candidates follows a particular framework that will ensure that the best and the most acceptable to the citizens emerge,” he stated.

He criticised the ruling All Progressives Congress, accusing it of drifting from its founding ideals.

“To see where the APC is today is quite disappointing… all the so-called consensus arrangements across the states have collapsed,” he said.

“Instead of parties regulating elected officials, elected officials now regulate parties.”

According to him, restoring internal discipline and strengthening party structures are central to the opposition’s strategy.

“Having a collegiate system ensures that party organs work and regulate the conduct of elected representatives,” Salihu said.

On groups and individuals yet to join the coalition, Salihu maintained that participation remains voluntary.

“It is entirely their choice not to be there, and we respect that,” he said.

Despite ongoing tensions, he expressed optimism that the opposition would rally behind a single candidate.

“We are ready to confront the situation as it is, and we believe the Nigerian people will make the right choice at the end,” he added.

PoliticsStanley Osifo Declares Presidential Bid, Vows To Challenge Tinubu by Ofunaofu(op): 7:35pm On Apr 27
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Chief Stanley Osifo, has declared his intention to run for the office of the president in the 2027 general elections.

Osifo, a 2019 Presidential aspirant, announced his new ambition in a statement made available to newsmen on Monday, outlining his campaign agenda tagged “Metamorphosis 2027.”

He said his campaign to challenge President Bola Tinubu for the party ticket would flag off from his ward at the right time, saying he would adopt a grassroots-driven political approach.

“I write to inform Nigerians of my declaration to run for the office of the President.

“We are not joking this time around, we are buying the form,”
Osifo, who hails from Oluku Ward in Ovia NorthEast Local Government Area of Edo, said.

The aspirant described himself as “an international innovative entrepreneur and a national and global economic and political figure.”

He added that he had “carved a niche for integrity and pursuit of positive ideals through years of selfless service.”

Osifo said his aspiration was driven by patriotism and a desire to make Nigeria “the greatest nation globally.”

“I am a patriotic Nigerian with passion to enhance development and deliver quality service to citizens,” he added.

He said his campaign would focus on two key areas: economy and security.

Osifo noted that economic stability and security were interdependent and critical to national development.

“Our campaign is primarily focused on two germane areas: economy and security. A secure society is the foundation for sound economic structuring,” he said.

He said if elected, his government would focus on poverty reduction, political reform, economic growth and health sector development.

Others, according to him, are water resources, agriculture, mining, education, security, power, transport and technology advancement.

On poverty and cost of living, Osifo said his administration would implement deliberate strategies to improve citizens’ welfare.

Stating that agriculture would play a central role in tackling food insecurity, the aspirant said: “We will embark on a strategic fight against poverty, hunger and high cost of living.

“We will deal a devastating blow to hunger through functional macro and micro undertakings.”

On political reform, he promised to strengthen democracy and ensure the people’s will prevails.

Osifo also pledged introduce reforms to boost economic growth.

“The voice and will of Nigerians must prevail in governance and leadership,”he said.

In the health sector, he promised improved funding, partnerships and capacity building for practitioners.

He also pledged to improve access to potable water and rehabilitate dams for agriculture and power generation.

On agriculture, Osifo said his administration would promote value chains and support agribusiness.

“Youths will be encouraged and supported in agribusiness development,” he said.

He promised to strengthen mining regulations and revitalise steel production, including Ajaokuta Steel Company.

On industrialisation, he said free trade zones would be established across states to attract investments.

“We will audit and strengthen steel factories to boost productivity. We shall establish Free Trade Zones to accelerate exports and industrial growth,” he said.

He added that development finance institutions would be recapitalised to support small businesses.

In the area of education, Osifo pledged to improve funding, infrastructure and research support.

On security, he said his administration would adopt intelligence-driven strategies and regional interventions.

He also promised to prioritise federal character and ensure inclusiveness in governance.

Osifo said special intervention programmes would target unemployment, youth empowerment and vulnerable groups.

“We will initiate programmes to address unemployment and support the elderly and children,” he said.

On power, he pledged decentralisation and improved energy generation and distribution, saying “We shall boost the energy sector and tackle power shortages.”

He also promised to develop transport infrastructure through public-private partnerships.

On technology, Osifo said he would establish innovation hubs similar to Silicon Valley.

He added that entertainment and sports sectors would be strengthened to create jobs and national pride.

“We will harness the potential in entertainment and sports for economic growth,” he said.

Osifo said his plans would be executed through public and private funding mechanisms.

He urged Nigerians to support his ambition and vote for him in 2027.

“We will leverage public capital and private partnerships for project delivery. I seek the support of all Nigerians to achieve this vision,” he said.

He expressed confidence that Nigeria would achieve sustainable development under his leadership.

If You’re Supporting APC, Don’t Send CV”- Nigerian CEO’s Warning to APC Supporters

Tech founder Olamide Adee has gone viral after saying APC supporters should not apply for jobs at her company.
Her comments sparked backlash and debate over politics, hiring discrimination, and freedom of choice.

A Nigerian tech founder, Olamide Adee, has stirred reactions online after publicly stating that supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) should not apply to join her team or send their CVs.

In a series of posts shared on social media, Adee said she would not use her hard-earned money to employ APC supporters, claiming their political choices reflected poor judgment.

“If you’re supporting APC please don’t look to join my team or send a cv.
Asides the fact that I won’t be giving my hard earned money to any APC supporter, I’m also fully aware that your judgement on what is right is seriously flawed, you cannot build your life talk more of building a company.
Please don’t apply.”

The founder also reacted after some critics reportedly emailed her company to complain about her remarks.

“You see ‘co-founder’ in my bio, you clicked on the website, copied the email and tried to fire me from a company I STARTED AND LEAD?
Is something mentally wrong with APC SUPPORTERS?”

She later added:

“Sending mails to my company ‘reporting’ me for saying I won’t hire APC supporters is diabolical sha.
I can see your mail, and I am THE BOSS.”

The posts have since gone viral, generating mixed reactions online. While some users supported her stance as a personal business decision, others criticized the comments and raised concerns about political discrimination in hiring practices.

The incident has further fueled conversations about politics, governance, and how personal beliefs intersect with employment decisions in Nigeria

PoliticsGov. Yusuf Fumes Over Flaunting Of Pants By Kano APC Youths by Ofunaofu(op): 9:56am On Apr 27
Yusuf condemns youth misconduct during First Lady’s visit, calls for moral renewal

Speaking during a special prayer session held at the Government House, Yusuf also described the behaviour as a breach of cultural and religious norms

Kano governor Abba Yusuf has described display of underwear (pants) by some youths during the recent visit of First Lady, Sen. Oluremi Tinubu, to the state as “disrespectful and unacceptable.”

Recall that some women and youths believed to be members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC in the state were seen displaying the pants during the visit of the First Lady to the state.

It was believed that the action was in mockery of the governor’s godfather, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.

But in a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Mustapha Muhammad, on Monday in Kano Yusuf condemned the action of the youths.

Speaking during a special prayer session held at the Government House , Yusuf also described the behaviour as a breach of cultural and religious norms

He distanced himself, his administration, and the people of Kano State from the incident.

About 4,444 Quranic reciters gathered at the event to pray for peace, stability, and prosperity in the state and the country at large.

This behaviour is a deviation from the values underpinning my administration’s Kano First Agenda.

”Such actions contradict Islamic teachings on modesty and respect for authority.
’ he said.

He warned the youths involved against repeating such conduct, noting that actions capable of tarnishing the image of the state would not be tolerated.

The governor also cautioned politicians against exploiting young people for political gains.

“Our youths should be symbols of hope and development, not tools for mockery or moral decadence,” he said, urging political actors to promote decency and focus on policies that advance the state.

The governor called on those responsible to seek forgiveness from God and apologise to the people of Kano state for the embarrassment caused.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining Kano’s reputation for discipline, hospitality, and religious devotion, while prioritising youth mentorship and cultural preservation.

In his remarks, the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, represented by Alhaji Aliyu Harazumi, assured that the emirate would continue to organising Quranic recitations to promote lasting peace in the state.

Several Islamic scholars who spoke at the event also emphasised the need for moral discipline and collective responsibility in sustaining peace and unity in Kano state.

Soludo is leading APGA astray

APGA have lost focus

This anti-party behavior and the confusion that Soludo and APGA are putting themselves into may prevent them from even delivering their own candidates in the general election.

I really pity those who will fly the party’s flag in the general election. How will they explain to their electorate why they should vote for Tinubu, who has inflicted untold hardship, strife, rising inflation, worsening insecurity, and electricity blackouts?

That difficult explanation is what APGA candidates in the general election will have to work on, rather than selling themselves because it will surely rob off on them

Tinubu is a very bad product
