I will not allow Atiku, Tinubu, or PO to be president of my toilet. One Nigeria no be by force.

We can't continue to recycle rubbish in the name of so-called democracy when the country's structure is the foundation of its failure. How can 12 states introduce political Sharia law in 1999 and still believe in democracy?

Is Wike referring to the same Atiku who defeated him in the 2019 PDP presidential primary, despite his efforts to influence it by bringing it to Port Harcourt and then defeated him again in 2022, when Wike himself was a contestant?

Wike is truly intoxicated on a 40-year-old whiskey.

You are always Odd out of all the Comments.
• Who amongst the Aspirants -did your Atiku helped to get to where they were today- for Tinubu helped Osinbajo,if you must know !
It unfortunate you can't sleep without mentioning Tinubu or APC in a day and there many of you like that!
Your Hates and Bitterness will not destroy you.
Always read the messages well before commenting!
I’m not sure where you’re getting the urge to spew bile and ethnic bigotry, but it has nothing to do with my comment.

My response was to someone on Nairaland who claimed that Tinubu didn't attacked his competitors within the APC before, during, or after the 2022 primaries, a claim I already debunked citing the Osinbajo case

Whatever frustration you’re carrying, it isn’t mine to manage. Kindly direct it where it belongs.
PoliticsBuhari With Subsidy Borrowed N87trn, Tinubu Without Subsidy Borrows N151trn by Ofunaofu(op): 6:45am On Apr 18
Buhari with subsidy, borrowed N87trn, but Tinubu without subsidy, borrowed N151trn in 3 years—Melaye

Dino Melaye, a former senator and chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, has criticised Nigeria’s current economic trajectory, comparing borrowing levels under former President Muhammadu Buhari and incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Speaking in a video shared ahead of the 2027 general elections, Melaye argued that Nigeria’s debt has risen sharply within a short period under the present administration. His remarks come as opposition figures, including Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar, are reportedly working towards forming a coalition to challenge the ruling party.

Melaye questioned the impact of key economic reforms, particularly the removal of fuel subsidy, which was expected to ease fiscal pressure and reduce borrowing. According to him, this expectation has not been reflected in the country’s financial records.

He claimed that during Buhari’s administration, Nigeria accumulated about N87 trillion in debt while the subsidy regime remained in place. In contrast, he alleged that under Tinubu’s leadership, the country has recorded approximately N151 trillion in borrowing within three years, despite the removal of subsidy.

Using the comparison, Melaye raised concerns about the government’s fiscal policies, suggesting that the nation’s debt burden has worsened rather than improved. His comments add to growing public discourse on economic management, government spending, and the long-term implications of rising debt.

The development comes amid increasing political tension as the 2027 elections approach, with opposition groups intensifying efforts to present a united front. Meanwhile, debates continue among stakeholders, with supporters and critics offering differing perspectives on the effectiveness of current economic reforms

“The President should not be ridiculing the opposition. He should be deeply concerned that the majority of Nigerians have rejected his government, whose ill-conceived policies have ruined lives and destroyed livelihoods. These are the reasons he should be scared, because the people are determined to vote him out.”

This country hasn’t witnessed this level of crass incompetence and confusion in its history.

Since Tinubu came on board, the country has been running two to three budgets simultaneously.

From 2023, no budget under his administration has achieved even a 35% implementation rate, and some people are still saying he should be reelected. You have to wonder what informs that kind of thinking.

Politics2027: Labour Party Disowns Arabambi, Denies Backing Tinubu’s Reelection Bid by Ofunaofu(op): 1:44am On Apr 17
Labour Party has distanced itself from claims by Abayomi Arabambi that it has endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for a second term, describing the statement as false and misleading.

In a statement issued by the Sokoto State Chairman of the Party and Chairman of the Northern Labour Party Chairmen Forum, Comrade Abubakar Yawale, the Party said Arabambi lacks the authority to speak on its behalf, noting that he is an expelled member.

“Arabambi is an expelled member and has no authority whatsoever to speak for or on behalf of the Labour Party. His comments are personal, misleading, and irrelevant,” the statement said.

The Party firmly denied endorsing President Tinubu’s re-election bid.

“The Labour Party has not taken any decision to support President Tinubu’s second-term ambition. Such a claim is false, unfounded, and should be completely disregarded,” it added.

Reaffirming its opposition stance, the Party said it remains committed to offering Nigerians an alternative vision for governance.

“The Party remains a vibrant opposition force, focused on providing credible leadership and an alternative vision for Nigeria,” the statement noted.

On the political future of Peter Obi, the Party described him as a respected figure and acknowledged his right to pursue his ambitions.

“While Peter Obi remains a respected figure, he is currently aligned with the African Democratic Congress and has every constitutional right to pursue his political ambitions on any platform. We wish him well,” the statement said.

The Party also подчеркed its depth in leadership and readiness for future elections.

“Labour Party is not short of capable leaders. The Party has numerous competent and credible aspirants ready to contest for the presidency under its platform,” it stated.

It further affirmed that the Party’s leadership remains under Distinguished Senator Nenadi Esther Usman, stressing that only recognised organs can make binding decisions.

“Party leadership remains duly constituted… and only the recognized organs of the Party can make binding decisions,” the statement added.

The Party urged the public to disregard Arabambi’s comments, describing them as baseless.

“The public is strongly advised to ignore the baseless and self-serving statements of Abayomi Arabambi. The Labour Party remains united, focused, and committed to the Nigerian people,” it concluded.

The fear is real

Tinubu is obviously scared

He is rattled, but he should take it easy on himself.

When he loses the election, as he almost certainly will, he should simply go home and spend time with his grandchildren.

After all, he is the architect of his own downfall. He had a rare opportunity to rewrite his history, emerging from a tainted and discredited background, but instead he has succeeded only in writing his name in infamy, as Nigeria’s worst president.

“Power rotation is a political convention, not a constitutional decree — and certainly not a tool to silence credible opposition,”

“The same people who shredded zoning within their own party when it suited them now pretend to be its custodians. Hypocrisy has never worn such a cheap costume,”
After failing woefully and inflicting hardship, hunger, insecurity, and blackouts on Nigerians, they now have nothing to show.

So the new campaign strategy? “It’s the South’s turn” and “respect zoning.”

PoliticsRe: Tinubu Mock Atiku says he Privatized Another Man's Political Party (Video) by Ofunaofu: 9:10pm On Apr 16
This is what happens when you have absolutely nothing to campaign with after nearly three years in office.

Tinubu has now resorted to attacking Atiku personally instead of addressing Nigerians or even asking for forgiveness for the untold hardship, hunger, worsening insecurity, and persistent power outages.

Thunder 🔥 ⚡🔥⚡ Tinubu presidency and their power rotation

If APC claims it’s respecting power rotation, how exactly is that the concern of ADC or Atiku?

And let’s be honest, did Tinubu respect power rotation in 2015 when he and his allies fielded Buhari, a northern candidate, against Jonathan, a sitting southern president seeking re-election?

So what changed now, principle or convenience?
