Beloved, I don't understand you but one thing I know is that I entered UNIZIK in January 1999 and left there with B Eng in EEE by April 2004. That same yr the following set also graduated. There was only one two-months national ASUU strike by the end of my year one, after which our school pulled out of National ASUU and we never experienced one again. There were two other breaks in our academic calender namely: 1. Our SUG had a plan for OBJ when he was to pass thru our Temp site to visit one traditional ruller during his tour of Anambra State. The intentions were misinterpreted, we clashed with the police and our school was shut down for about two months. We won the case and was compensated. 2. When a New VC emerged, he increased Our school fees by about 300% and our SUG called for a riot and the school was shunt down again. Despite the challenges listed above, we still graduated at a record time and the same trend has continued and even improved. So I doubt why you should consider UNN better than UNIZIK in this regard.

A helicopter belonging to Bristow Helicopters crashed into the lagoon near the Oworonshoki end of the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos.


The National Emergency Management Agency and the Nigerian Police carried out rescue operations and it was learnt that 3 out of the 12 people onboard died in the lagoon helicopter crash, while the other 9 were taken to the nearby Gbagada General Hospital.


An eyewitness spoke to www.metronaija.com, the aircraft marked 5NBGD was said to be coming from one of the oil rigs in Escravos area of the Niger Delta and was said to be heading for Lagos Island when it went down around 3 p.m.

Thank God for the survivors who employed their HUET skills. You don't need to know how to swim but only to know what to do in keeping with chopper briefing and HUET training. I face the hazards of flying with chopper at least twice every month and God has always been helping us despite some of the challenges we do face. We defy the risks and keep going. Man must wack. A Bristol helicopter crashed into the Lagoon at the Oworonshoki area of Lagos this afternoon.

www.metronaija.com can authoritatively confirm that the Deputy Governor of Lagos State has confirmed 6 people have been rescued from the scene of the helicopter crash. Spokesperson of the National Emergency Management Agency, Ibrahim Farinloye, confirmed the incident .

You will keep weeping because you are not informed. Alaoji Power station was contracted to Rockson, an indigeneous company in 2006 but only the first phase was commissioned in 2015. Similar project was awarded to Daewoo, a Korean company in Afam(Afam VI) in the same 2006 and the complete phase was commissioned in 2010. Now Sinotech completed such a massive project in14months and you are sad because you want your brother's company that will take 14yrs to complete.

The spiritualist shouted to my boss "you must not stop that incantation" I became tensed and confused, immediately the three men held me tightly, then I remembered God, I shouted Jesus even thou I've never done that willingly, immediately I shouted Jesus the spiritualist ordered my boss to stop, they all became angry, I never knew one of them had a gun, he pointed the gun at me ask me to say my last prayer, I was like just like that?? No then my boss pleaded that they shouldn't kill me. The man then brought out red paper there I saw all the workers names he ask me to point to my name, which I did, then he said he will remove my name from the list if I can only make an oath that till I die no one will hear what happen tonight from my mouth, and if I do, I should die and he later said if I didn't make the oath they are left with no choice than to kill me....then I made the oath and my name was removed as promised. They took me out and drop me infront of my house in my boss car around 10.00PM, I went in quietly to bed without showing my face to anyone @ home, the following morning I gather some courage went to the office I saw my boss, then I look straight to his face and said Sir can I tender my resignation letter? Workers around were confused, my boss drag me inside his office immediately, then trys to threaten me about the oath then I told him the oath was not to tell anybody so y can I resign working here. Then he said he will accept my resignation letter and even offer me some money which I rejected with anger, when I was about to leave his office he reminded again saying "your life in your hand" remember my words, I looked at him banged the door and went out, when I get tot the office hall I looked at others workers, as I saw those that their names were mentioned, including a secondary school friend of mine who we walk home together, I busted into tears, no one wouldn't know what has happened, I left the premises before they started suspecting.

What should I do?

I suspect you never went for deliverance or that you never told the Pastor your story (hence, you were never delivered) or that you that you met fake pastor who could be one of the syndicates. Firstly, you need a true Servant of God who professes Faith(not necessarily an ordained Pastor) and give your life to Christ. After that simple act of faith, then tell him your story and your concern and he will take it up from there. If he didn't satisfy you, then he is not true. On the other hand, you can handle it yourself after giving your life to Christ. All you need to do is start reading Christian novels on prayer and faith, read your Bible everyday and pray seriously. With this you are more than conqueror and can handle the situation with ease. Note that FEAR is a potent weapon in the hands of the devil but the antidote is FAITH. Remember that your mere mention of the name of JESUS though as an unbeliever stalled their action; how much more as Born Again.

This shows Buhari is a man of honor. How can politics blind us to the extent where we question the profession of our military men and women who laid their lives to make Nigeria a sovereign country? Jonathan and his gangs have politicized the Nigerian military to the extent that politics is now the order of the day. This release of result should now put everything to bed.

Lest I forgot, Buhari was a student and a graduate of prestigious military colleges in UK, India, and USA. The man (Buhari) did not even list any of these feats in his quest for the position of presidency. That shows the humility of the man. If I were Buhari, I wouldn't hesitate to list my certificate from those three oversees military colleges. From my own understanding, Buhari never took this thing seriously because from the onset, he has always believed PDP and Jonathan are only up to mischief.

The question now is: why would anyone think Buhari was admitted into these oversees prestigious military colleges without graduating from secondary school? Any right thinking person should know that it is not possible to get into those prestigious schools without graduating from secondary school. Why would anyone call our military institution into question for the admittance of Buhari into military service? It is now obvious that Jonathan and his crew are only interested in ridiculing the general when they asked the military officer who addressed press conference yesterday to go public. Only the court is vested with such power.

Buhari is more than qualify to vie for the seat of presidency. He has satisfied the academic requirement for that position. Buhari will become the president by February 15. Buhari will reposition our military again and make it a professional military force that they were known for until about ten years ago.

I live in Niger-Delta and I understand the difference b/w "kidnapped(abducted)" and "missing". The police commissioner was right by coming up with the right expression for use in the description of the incident. The use of "abduction" paints Nigerian image black to the outsiders. It's not correct to say he is abducted without evidence. No one saw the abduction, no one or group las laid claim to the abduction. Any other evil might have happened to him other than abduction. For instance, Harbert Macauley resigned his job start revolution when he sufferred injustice continually.He was being paid about 1/3 of the Salary his classmate at Oxford University working with him in the same company in Nigeria.While these were happening any nigerian that gets any opportunity into the then government saw it as an opportunity to have his share of the national cake. House, FG is truely serious. I'm in power sector and my company alone is handling about 4 IPP and direct FG power projects.Yet many other companies are still involved.
