According to a report from AFP, Abubakar Shekau has admitted killing a spokesman of the Boko Haram sect for planning to oust him from his position as the sect’s leader. He said this in an audio recording obtained by AFP. In the 50-minute tape of a meeting with the inner circle of his militant Islamist group, Shekau said he killed “Tasiu” — also known as Abu Zinnira — who appeared in several video messages. “You should hear me: I killed Tasiu, hear me well,” he told the gathering in Hausa. Shekau states the date of the meeting — December 18 — and said it had been called to discuss “those elements grumbling over the killing of Tasiu”. Abu Zinnira has on several occasions acted de facto spokesman and appeared in video recordings, including those about the more than 200 schoolgirls kidnapped from the town of Chibok in April 2014. Abu Zinnira and “other elements” had tried to make him out to the rank and file as being “not on the right track”, Shekau added. “Tell me, what is the punishment… for the people that plot against their leader?” he asked. “By our code of allegiance we don’t hesitate to pass appropriate sanction on any one of us that commit an offence.” http://ogashub.com.ng/shekau-kills-boko-haram-spokesman-for-planning-to-overthrow-him/

The Delta State Police command have apprehended a 43-year-old Ngozi Ojei and Ewere Samuel (20) for selling a two-week-old baby girl to a widow for N600,000. Samuel is the mother of the baby. Samuel gave birth to the baby girl while she was Ojei’s housemaid in Aba, Abia State. But because Samuel could not identify the person who impregnated her, she and Ojei agreed to sell the baby to avoid keeping a bastard child. They sold the baby late January to a woman simply identified as a widow.Parading them alongside suspected armed robbers, kidnappers and traffickers at the command headquarters in Asaba yesterday, the Commissioner of Police, Zanna Ibrahim, said in November 2016, Ojei asked Loveth Ojie to help her get a housemaid before she brought Samuel. “In January 2017, the said Ngozi Ojie came to Ekwuoma (in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State) to see the mother of Ewere Samuel after which she took her to Aba. “The said Ewere Samuel delivered a baby girl and the suspect sold the child. The suspect confessed selling the baby for N600,000,” the commissioner explained. But Ojei said she and the mother of the baby girl got N250,000 each from the proceeds. While Ibrahim said investigation was ongoing, Ojei’s husband, Mr. Edwin Ojei (50), of No. 22, MCC Osisioma Ngwa, Abia State, who was paraded alongside his wife, said: “I only came home for burial when I was arrested.” http://ogashub.com.ng/woman-sells-her-housemaids-2-week-old-baby-to-widow-for-n600000/

http://ogashub.com.ng/supreme-court-rules-against-rev-emeka-in-assemblies-of-god-churchs-leadership-tussle/ The leadership tussle at the Assemblies of God church finally came to an end on Friday, February 24, 2017 with a ruling by the Supreme Court which affirmed the sack of Reverend Paul Emeka. Emeka was first suspended by the General Council of the church and was later expelled, and he approached the Enugu state High Court where he got a judgement in his favour. The church’s General Council appealed the judgement of the high court and won. Not satisfied, Emeka went to the Supreme Court to challenge the appeal court judgement with the argument that his fundamental rights had been trampled on by the church. He lost as the justices unanimously upheld the ruling of the appellate court. In their judgements, Justices Paul Adamu Galinje, Ejembi Eko, Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun, and Clara Ogunbiyi, all ruled in favour of the church, a ruling that confirms Dr Chidi Okoroafor as the authentic general superintendent of the church. By this judgement we believe that Rev Emeka will manifest repentance and come back to his senses for real reconciliation. “The church of God will match on and the gates of hell will not triumph against her. By this judgement there is no vanquished and no victor, CHRIST REMAINS THE WINNER ALWAYS, GLORY BE TO GOD!”

Militants ambushed an army patrol in Niger on Friday, killing 15 soldiers and wounding 19, the Defence Ministry said. The ambush occurred in an area near the border with Mali where violent Islamists have been seeking to expand their reach. “A search operation is underway to neutralise the terrorists,’’ the ministry statement said of the attack just outside the town of Tiloa.Militants and allied criminal gangs have long exploited the areas around the vast, desert border between Mali and Niger to launch attacks, even after a French-led military intervention pushed insurgent groups back from northern Mali in 2013. Attacks in Niger are much rarer than in Mali, although militants in the past year have been expanding across borders in the fragile Sahel region into Niger and Burkina Faso. Gunmen riding motor bikes and other vehicles raided a village and killed five soldiers in Niger in November. http://ogashub.com.ng/breaking-news-niger-militants-ambush-and-kill-15-soldiers/

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has given 48 hours ultimatum to all South African companies in Nigeria to relocate over the xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa. The students gave the ultimatum at a peaceful demonstration at some South African companies in Abuja on Thursday. During the march the students carried a banner, which read: ‘’NANS against Xenophobic Attacks on Nigerians.’’ While the students marched, the security men stood and watched to ensure law and order. The President of NANS, Mr Kadiri Aruna, said in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at DSTV office, a South African company, in Wuse 2, Abuja, that Nigerian students had resolved to condemn the attacks. “We are saying that enough is enough as South Africans have openly attacked and bullied Nigerians.’’ Aruna said that the protest would also serve as a warning to other countries trying to underrate Nigerians. He said that after 48 hours, if nothing was done, messages would be sent to students in all university campuses to bring down MTN masts all over the country. Aruna said that DSTV and Shoprite would also be affected as the union had put adequate strategies in place to make the action effective. “All the South African business empires in Nigeria and their collaborators in Nigeria will be affected. “I don’t want to say we will be barbaric but we will not be lawful in our actions, we will do it and face the consequences, enough of this rubbish,’’ he said. Aruna stressed that the poor treatment being meted out to Nigerians was particularly insulting given the role Nigeria played in ending the apartheid regime in South Africa. Nigeria contributed 80 per cent of the freedom the South Africans are enjoying today because we saved them from the jaws of apartheid. “Who is South Africa to humiliate Nigeria? So they forget things so soon, let them go back to history and records to see how much financial assistance and what the country did to save them,’’ he said. The union president said that the situation was inhuman and for this reason all reasonable Nigerians must react. “In science they say you use malaria to cure malaria, now you use madness to cure their madness, and that is why we are advising them to leave Nigerian soil before 48 hours.’’ He said that the Federal Government should not wait till the dying minute before evacuating Nigerians from South Africa. Aruna said it was time for government not to only condemn the attacks but take a firm stand by summoning South Africa’s high commissioner and if possible cut diplomatic ties with that country. “Government should take extra-diplomatic measures in dealing with the latest deadly assaults because if nothing drastic is done it will become a regular occurrence. “This is the time to place South Africa where it belongs,’’ he said. He said that the last time the xenophobic attack happened nothing was done, no action was taken and no arrest was made and that was why South Africans repeated the attacks. Aruna said it was so unfortunate that during the attacks the South African Government refused to take up its responsibility of securing Nigerians and their properties. “The government of South Africa is criminally quiet and they say silence is consent, and their police are folding their hands while they are killing Nigerians, this is conspiracy, enough is enough,’’ he said. He said the peaceful rally would continue and spread across the country. Over 50 police and, DSS operatives surrounded the DSTV premises and along the street making it impossible for newsmen to contact any DSTV officials for comments. http://ogashub.com.ng/vacate-from-nigeria-before-48-hours-nigerian-students-to-south-africans/

It was a black Monday on February 13 for members of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), the Root of David Area Headquarters, in Abuja. The church situated in Apiawe village, DeiDei, via Kubwa, FCT, was said to have been invaded and set on fire at around 5am on that fateful day by people believed to be religious extremists. The hoodlums left with musical instruments and other valuables worth millions of naira belonging to the church before they finally set it on fire. The pastor-in-charge of the parish, Pastor Oladele Stephen, said he got a call from one of his members, telling him the church had been burnt down. “They made away with our generating set, musical instruments, chairs and microphones and set the building on fire. We reported the matter to the police, but no arrest was made,” he said. Expressing disappointment over the recent attack, the pastor said the church was attacked some weeks ago by some suspected religious fundamentalists, who broke into the church through the ceiling and made away with six ceiling fans, speakers and microphones. Oladele said that these extremists taunt them during church programmes by burning grass near the place of worship, making heavy smoke into the auditorium during worship. He said they also sell and smoke hemp everyday near the church of God. The pastor also stated that the matter had been reported to the provincial headquarters of the church and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). http://ogashub.com.ng/2256-2/ Yung6ix has alleged that a close friend attempted to take his life late last year. In a chat with Saturday Beats, Yung6ix says till date, he doesn’t know why his friend, who is also a rap artiste, wanted to murder him. “I don’t know why my friend would want to kill me but that was one of the most shocking moments of my life. It happened at the studio in my house; I just came downstairs and the next thing I saw was my friend with a gun. I called him but he did not reply. Then I saw the look on his face. He came with some other people. The guy by his side just took the gun from my friend’s hand because he noticed that my friend was already having a change of heart and he did not want to shoot me. When the guy took the gun, he tried to shoot me but I was lucky the gun jammed, so everybody ran away. “To be honest, I don’t know what could have made him want to kill me. The only issue I think we had was not enough to cause any issue. I was shooting the video of one of my songs in Abuja the same day he was shooting the video of one of his songs that he featured me. I told him that I couldn’t be there for his video because I was working on my own video. I told him that once I returned to Lagos, I would make sure I shoot my part of his video and I would take care of the cost. It was when I got back that he came to my house with a gun.” The rapper said he had to report the matter to the police and his friend was arrested. “They moved him out of our estate because he lived near my house. The police later told us that estate residents had been complaining about him and that they did not want someone who walked around with a gun living in their estate. That was how he was evicted from the estate and I felt bad about it.” “All that is behind me now and I am thinking of my new projects. I have my record label and a sponsor because immediately I left Storm Records, I decided to be on my own without relying on anyone. Along the line, somebody came to support me financially in the person of Prince Mefe. I decided not to be like other conventional artistes who would rather be very established before signing new acts. Every step I take, I want someone to grow with me the way Olamide also brought some guys up as he was becoming big as a star. Already, I have four artistes signed to my record label, KKTBM, and they are LK Kuddy, S.H.E, Percy, and Sean Dennis.”

http://ogashub.com.ng/12-powerful-laws-of-karma-that-should-guide-you/ What is Karma? Karma is the Sanskrit word for action. It is equivalent to Newton’s law of ‘every action must have a reaction’. When we think, speak or act we initiate a force that will react accordingly. This returning force maybe modified, changed or suspended, but most people will not be able eradicate it. This law of cause and effect is not punishment, but is wholly for the sake of education or learning. A person may not escape the consequences of his actions, but he will suffer only if he himself has made the conditions ripe for his suffering. Ignorance of the law is no excuse whether the laws are man-made or universal. To stop being afraid and to start being empowered in the worlds of karma and reincarnation, here is what you need to know about karmic laws. THE GREAT LAW – “As you sow, so shall you reap”. This is also known as the “Law of Cause and Effect”. – Whatever we put out in the Universe is what comes back to us. – If what we want is Happiness, Peace, Love, Friendship… Then we should BE Happy, Peaceful, Loving and a True Friend. THE LAW OF CREATION – Life doesn’t just HAPPEN, it requires our participation. – We are one with the Universe, both inside and out. – Whatever surrounds us gives us clues to our inner state. – BE yourself, and surround yourself with what you want to have present in your Life. THE LAW OF HUMILITY –What you refuse to accept, will continue for you. – If what we see is an enemy, or someone with a character trait that we find to be negative, then we ourselves are not focused on a higher level of existence. THE LAW OF GROWTH – “Wherever you go, there you are”. – For us to GROW in Spirit, it is we who must change – and not the people, places or things around us. – The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES and that is the only factor we have control over. – When we change who and what we are within our heart our life follows suit and changes too. THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY – Whenever there is something wrong in my life, there is something wrong in me. – We mirror what surrounds us – and what surrounds us mirrors us; this is a Universal Truth. – We must take responsibility what is in our life. THE LAW OF CONNECTION – Even if something we do seems inconsequential, it is very important that it gets done as everything in the Universe is connected. – Each step leads to the next step, and so forth and so on. – Someone must do the initial work to get a job done. – Neither the first step nor the last are of greater significance, – As they were both needed to accomplish the task. – Past-Present-Future they are all connected… THE LAW OF FOCUS – You can not think of two things at the same time. – When our focus is on Spiritual Values, it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger. THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY – If you believe something to be true, then sometime in your life you will be called upon to demonstrate that particular truth. – Here is where we put what we CLAIM that we have learned, into actual PRACTICE. THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW – Looking backward to examine what was, prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW. – Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams… – Prevent us from having new ones. THE LAW OF CHANGE – History repeats itself until we learn the lessons that we need to change our path. THE LAW OF PATIENCE AND REWARD – All Rewards require initial toil. – Rewards of lasting value require patient and persistent toil. – True joy follows doing what we’re suppose to be doing, and waiting for the reward to come in on its own time. THE LAW OF SIGNIFICANCE AND INSPIRATION – You get back from something whatever YOU have put into it. – The true value of something is a direct result of the energy and intent that is put into it. – Every personal contribution is also a contribution to the Whole. – Lack luster contributions have no impact on the Whole, nor do they work to diminish it. –

Do you ever ponder where the heck some rappers disappear to? Basically, you hear no new stuff from them and you wonder why they are no more popping. And then, once in awhile you get to hear some of their old stuff and you remember this artiste was the “shit” back in time. Oh well, maybe nothing good lasts forever. To be very honest there are a few rappers we wished should still be around a little longer. Better still make a huge comeback into the game. Okay, so these rappers top the list. SAUCE KID The rapper’s birth name is Babalola Falemi born in Lagos State, Nigeria. Sauce Kid at the time added much flavour to pidgin rap with hits like “Edondemadt”, “Monkey Banana” and “Carolina”. Dude was buzzing at the time with his combo of Americana and pidgin flow. Surely, Sauce Kid who later preferred to be known as Sinzu had enough sauce to keep Nigerian music lovers interested back then. Can he just thrill us again just one more time? ENDIA Endia For a good number of times, I have asked myself, where the heck is Endia? The one-quarter of the Grip Boiz (Grip Muzik) had one of the hottest hip-hop joints of 2013, 48. To say the least 48 was that dope that emcees like Phyno amongst others made their own cover for the joint. Endia, born Ujah Lawrence made the list of most promising acts to watch on various media platforms. All that hype and frenzy has all faded and Endia faded into thin air. At least from what we’re seeing. EMMY GEE If you’re unfamiliar with the name you perhaps have heard the song “Rands and Naira”. Emmy Gee is a Nigerian based in South Africa, who came into the Nigerian consciousness with his hit song “Rands and Naira”. The hip-hop tune topped charts both in SA and Nigeria. A remix of the song made it even bigger here in Nigeria because local artistes were enlisted and it worked. Now it has become very obvious Emmanuel Nwankwo is a one hit wonder. PHENOM Knighthouse General as he dubbed himself, has suffered relegation into oblivion as far as contemporary Nigerian hip-hop genre is put in perspective. Phenom is one artiste that was so auspicious at the time. Phenom was the face of Nokia’s Don’t Break the Beat Hiphop campaign and brand ambassador. His debut “Omo Naija”, “Shukushuku Bambam” and “Murder Dem” proved he was indeed very talented. But then, he is a perfect example of talent is not enough in the music business. BLAISE Born Obafunke Martins, Blaise is one of the earliest femcees in the Nigerian hip-hop culture. A former member of Da Trybe had an impressive run with hits like “The Definition” and “Bragging Rights”. Albeit, the female rapper didn’t last long. Should we hope for her return or banish the thought of it? I mean she’ll retake the crown the moment she gets back in. JESSE JAGZ The “Sex and Scotch” crooner is no doubt a bunch of talent. But lately it’s glaring the rapper has lost that magic that once made him our favorite rapper. In all honesty, Jesse Jagz has not been popping for a long while. It’s obvious the little fracas he had with Chocolate City and his foray into reggae type rap has dealt a fatal blow on his career, especially his popularity. http://ogashub.com.ng/6-rappers-that-left-us-pondering-what-happened-to-them/

An unknown individual allegedly sent a DM to controversial journalist, Kemi Olunloyo alleging that actress and mother of two, Iyabo Ojo is not only sleeping with her church’s pastor, but also uses “juju” on him. She also claims the Range Rover she drives was owned by the said pastor before he gave it to her – the journalist alleged this in an Instagram post which interestingly, the actress liked. See below: #Nollywood ACTRESS IYABO OJO IS A PROSTITUTE THAT USES JUJU ON PASTORS TO BED HER AND LAVISH HER WITH GIFTS churchmember tells @HNNAfrica #HNNInvestigates #AccessNollywood Good morning Madam KOO. My name is Ebiye Patience and I’m a dedicated member of Salvation Ministries, Port Harcourt. Our Pastor, David Ibiyiomie is shamelessy frolicking with yoruba prostitute Iyabo Ojo. All these prostitutes in the name of actresses. We learnt that he has been spending the church’s money on this girl and some other nollywood actresses to the point that Iyabo and Vivian Metchie had a nasty fight on him. After catching her in bed with a boy she picked from the club. She has used juju on our pastor. The range rover 2008 model she uses now used to be in our pastor garage before he dashed her. The Toyota corolla she claimed she bought her PA last year is one of the cars that her former minister ex boyfriend dumped her after church gave its members for christmas. This story was almost out last year but she paid off the press with cash and her body. She is a grade one harlot who picks little boys on the street to sleep with. Our pastor is gradually destroying Gods name as he is now a sugar daddy to iyabo ojo. Even though she paid press, I know madam KOO is one who can’t be bought by money and will do investigation and let the world know the truth. @IyaboOjofespris and @DayoAmusa visits all herbalists everywhere. Our pastor is even building a house for this girl as I speak. They should stop destroying Nollywood. Pls fish out this prostitutes. Pastor has a hidden house in PH that’s were he houses Iyabo anytime he wants to see her. She is also dating a series of men. Hustling between them all so that she can form big lifestyle with money gotten from them all. There is no herbalist that doesn’t know her. She pretends to be nice but inside, she is a snake. She has a shop off Allen but she sells nothing. You can send someone there to investigate. You’d meet no one. Its a cover up for her prostitution business. She should definitely be exposed. The Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to the President, Malam Garba Shehu, in an interview with the Channels Television in Abuja on Tuesday, revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is no longer “enjoying his stay’’ outside the country and will be back any moment from today.. He said; “As a matter of fact, we should be getting ready to see the president in fresh and that will be soon as possible. “The President (himself) is looking to being home to be with his people. “I don’t think he is enjoying any longer with an extended vacation outside the country.’’ On the president’s telephone conversation with President Trump, Shehu described as “undiplomatic’’ the request being made in some quarters for the release of the audio containing the conversation. According to him, releasing an audio containing telephone conversation between two presidents is highly unethical and against modern day civilization. He said; “No, I don’t think so; I don’t think it is permitted in international diplomacy. I think if we had recorded Mr Trump in this conversation it would have offended our diplomatic relations. “I think the Americans themselves would not have recorded this conversation of president to president.” On the president’s test results being expected from his doctors, the presidential aide said he had no information on whether the president had collected the results or not. He said; “No, we have no information on that (test results). If he had received them, he would have been on the plane back home.’’ Read more at http://ogashub.com.ng/buhari-will-return-soon-he-is-missing-nigeria-presidency-reveals/
