The Peoples’ Democratic Party, National Youths Frontier (PDPNYF) has called on President Buhari who returned back to the country on Friday not allow the cabal in his government gain ground again.

He was further urged to build on the achievements of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

In a series of tweets on Friday, March 10, 2017, the PDPNYF said Buhari said they pray that the Naira will not fall against the Dollar like it did before Buhari travelled.

Pastor and General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has demanded that legal practitioner, Festus Keyamo, should retract all publications, and an apology to be published on major social media networks.

He also demanded N1bn over alleged blackmail and injuries inflicted on him, including online video clips, during his alleged amorous relationship with a Canada-based stripper, Stephanie Otobo.

Should he fail to comply with the demand, the cleric threatened to drag Keyamo to the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee “for infamous conduct.”


Stephanie Otobo had alleged that she suffered emotional stress from Suleman, following a sour relationship including a promise of marriage.

But the cleric in a letter by his counsel, Osa Director, obtained by journalists on Thursday evening in Abuja, entitled: “Allegation of professional misconduct and unethical practices”, said Keyamo’s action was inconsistent with Section 1 of the Rules of Professional Conduct For Legal Practitioners 2007.

He said,

“Sequel to our letter to you dated March 6, 2017, we have observed with shock and dismay your deliberate and relentless efforts to malign and convict our client through media trial. By your relentless media campaign, you are conducting yourself in a manner inconsistent with Section 1 of the Rules of Professional Conduct For Legal Practitioners 2007.”
According to him, instead of gathering facts and evidence before a court of competent jurisdiction for adjudication, Keyamo resorted to alleged blackmail and intimidation through the media, both traditional and social media.


“In short, you have threatened and indeed executed your threat of conjuring, manufacturing and synthesising bogus and unverifiable exhibits in the social media and newspapers, all with a view to poison public opinion against our client and reduce his esteem and reputation in the eye of any reasonable man. Your attitude is also to ambush a fair trial while litigation is anticipated. This is contrary to S.33 of the Rules of Professional Conduct For Legal Practitioners 2007.”
Director quoted a recent Newspaper report in which Keyamo threatened to “release more bullets”, while Otobo under his supervision would be organising a world press conference and “we will begin to release bullets.”


“Furthermore, you grossly and recklessly maligned our client, saying, “these men of God are not what they claim to be, we have a duty to protect the public. Many of them are fake and fraudsters. You will see the video very soon in the next few minutes.” True to your threat of trial publicity stunts, the video clips have flooded the social media networks.
We believe your conduct is inconsistent with the virtues and rules of conduct of the legal profession. It smacks of indiscipline and disdain for the judicial process. Therefore, we demand a retraction of all your press statements and an apology to be published on the major social media networks.
Also, we demand a compensation of N1bn for all the injuries inflicted on our client. We expect you to meet our demands within seven days from the date above written. Take notice that we shall drag you before the Legal Practitioners Disciplinary Committee for the infamous conduct if you fail to so do”

Osinbajo recalled that corruption in the Lagos State Judiciary dropped to zero percent following the sack of 22 corrupt magistrates and three judges, and by drastic improvement in welfare.

According to him, prior to the reforms, he once met an honest judge who retired after 10 years on the Bench but lived in someone’s boys quarters because he had no house.

He said a judge’s salary of N67,000 then could not build a house. To reverse the trend, every judge was given a house for life, while their remuneration was increased “considerably”, to the extent that Lagos became a reference point.

“It was because a system was in place and impunity was not allowed. It is important that we put in place models that will work,” he said.

Osinbajo noted that in the United Kingdom, candidates undergo 17 different tests before being appointed judges.

The Acting-President added that the three arms of government must collaborate to put in place working systems that are fair and compliant with the rule of law.


“We must work together – the legislature, the judiciary and the executive – to put a model that must work. We must ensure that systems that are put in place are fair and comply with the rule of law,” he said.

He further said that the anti-graft war will not be won where citizens continue to celebrate the corrupt, adding that the underlying causes of corruption, such as deprivation, also need to be addressed.

Osinbajo said a robust international collaboration was also needed to return stolen assets and to stop the hiding of loot abroad.

“One of the critical issues that we have discovered in our fight against corruption is that we need much more robust international cooperation, especially with respect to return of assets.

“We find that the process of returning assets, aside from the judicial process, is so difficult and so complicated that it could just take you literally years to get assets returned.

“And I think that it is important for countries of the world where stolen assets are located to really work with us in ensuring that these assets are returned speedily. I know that the United Kingdom is working with us in particular on this issue of beneficiary register.

“That will be extremely useful for us because we will now be able to discover who is behind some of the names of companies and other shelves that are used to hide stolen assets.’’

A Nigerian lady on Facebook, Ibiene Bato Martha Williams, in a post of hers, claimed that God hates anal and MouthAction – according to her, the Holy Spirt ministered to her that married couples have been erring too when they have sex, as she deliberated on sexual purity for singles.

The Theatre commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Major-General Lucky Irabor has said the cause of the accidental bombing of an IDP camp in Rann, Borno state was the result of incorrect coordinates.

Irabor told a visiting United Nations Security Council delegation on Sunday, March 5 that the accidental bombing which killed 236 civilians,was athe accidental bombing which killed 236 civilians, was a “grave mistake” that was the result of faulty information.

“The coordinates that were received gave indications that there were presence of Boko Haram within the vicinity,” VOA quoted Irabor as saying, adding, “It’s just that the wrong coordinates were utterly given.”

“Wherein that we killed 15 Boko Haram terrorists, and a vehicle mounted with an anti-aircraft gun was also recovered amongst other weapons that were recovered from the Boko Haram terrorists.

“So that of course, gives some correlation as to what intelligence we received before that encounter,” Irabor said.

In the incident, a military jet dropped two bombs on the camp for displaced persons in Rann. At the time of the attack aid distribution was taking place and many women and children were killed, as well as at least nine humanitarian workers from the Nigerian Red Cross and the International Committee for the Red Cross.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNEI) on Saturday, March 4, presented N10,000 cash support each to 58 victims of the incident.The care givers and hospital staff also received 1 Million naira donation from the PCNEI which was presented by Professor Hauwa Biu.

Otobo, who goes by the stage name, Kimora has enlisted Nigerian top law chamber, Festus Keyamo chambers to help in her lawsuit against the Suleiman, Sahara reporters report.

Festus Keyamo chambers, in a letter to the Inspector-General of Police, said Otobo was arrested on March 3 at a United Bank of Africa (UBA) branch by heavily armed policemen from Federal Criminal Investigations Department (FCID), Alagbon, at the Anthony Village area of Lagos. She has since been in detention, where she has been denied food and visitation by her lawyers.

According to Keyamo chambers, Suleiman and Otobo met in September 2016 when she visited Nigeria and the Apostle allegedly told her he has divorced and needed more male children.

Apostle Suleiman reportedly proposed marriage to the girl and went on to meet her family members for introductions.

Otobo returned to Nigeria and while trying to withdraw the money paid into her account by Apostle Suleiman, she was arrested by the police on the orders of Suleiman.

Miss Otobo, through her lawyers, warned Apostle Suleiman that she has their N@kkd pictures together, raunchy text messages, bank statements, and other implicating items.

They lawyers disclosed that Miss Otobo used to send N@kkd pictures to Apostle Suleiman every Sunday, just before he went on the pulpit.

Otobo through her lawyers has now demanded Suleiman to pay her N500 million as damages for not honouring the marriage agreement between them.

Otobo through her lawyers has also demanded that Suleiman stop harassing her and threatening her life.

Her lawyers have given the preacher a seven-day ultimatum to meet the demands or get reported to law enforcement agencies for the threat to her life and face trial for breaching the promise to marry her.
