AtlanticBreeze:This your rubbish thread is what is shameful. You're not very smart either. Omenka, on his thread, said those people...the likes of Dasuki, Diezani, Akpolobokeme, DSP et al were all, just a few months ago, travelling the world (to explain why elections had to be shifted hoping to buy their retarded principal some more campaign hours), attending political rallies, running ministeries and departments (some for up to 6,7 years). No crutches, no grey hairs, no wheelchairs. We can assume good health, No? Is that true or false? True. They occupied positions of power, dining with the high and mighty. Infact, had conditions been different, they may still be in power. Not even up to a year after their disgraceful exit, they are all now suspiciously sick or dead. Especially when they are all connected with fraudulently enriching themselves. Is this true or false? True. Are you countering his submissions...or raising another point of view? What is the essence of this your thread anyway? FOH jor!!! |
plendil:Took the words straight from me. Hold them against court judgements, you're a tyrant. Release them pending trial and deal with the risk of flight. But let's remember that corruption and treason are not beans. Matter of fact, we all know that given half a chance, Dasuki will bail. The only reason why he hasn't is because of executive resolution to prosecute him. I feel for the President. He has his work cut out for him. But the outcry? Totally hypocritical and artificial. In this battle for survival against corruption and the forces of disintegration, president Buhari is somehow coming out as the bad person. It's tough to understand for me. But I see it for what it is. The supporters of former president Jonathan enjoying their new pastime. It's insincere criticism...so patriotic Nigerians should ignore and disregard. |
LadyExcellency:Sorry. What he is saying is that the information shared by the poster...on which you are hinging your opinions...is FALSE. A FAT LIE. Those agencies have said nothing of the sort. Matter of fact, only his rubbish blog and nairaland have this story, no other news media. So think what you want of Buhari and the 'zoo' as you guys call it. Just don't LIE!!! |
Sorry wailer. The problem is not your people's romanticized Biafra. The truly despicable is Nnamdi Kanu and his hate campaign against moderate Igbos and other confederates. Merging this hate campaign with the fate of a rejected former president who for all intents and purposes was bad at his job, we have an irredeemably flawed and truly despicable concept that should be condemned by all and sundry. |
MzPecs:What does that even mean? Jagaban...that was hounded under your hero GEJ and was cleared. Are you in pain or something? |
dammytosh:He sure is giving a lot of advice and sharing a variety of opinions that may have better served his political godfather and erstwhile president Goodluck Jonathan. Could someone ask him how many first class flying, street light disobeying, bulletproof car purchasing ministers his TV station investigated from the recently expired republic. Never too late to start doing the right things though...so his suggestion is in good order. Nevertheless, say I had such a video/picture, its doubtful I would send it to an entertainment TV station that shows music videos and beauty pageants all day. |
omenka:Lol. The submission was as ridiculous as they come though...propaganda this, propaganda that. That one's hurt is real. |
mediainspired: I keep praying for my catholic friends for God to open their eyes, be born again &become true xtians. One of d devil's greatest tool of deceit in human history is Catholicism (which, in its true sense, is not Christianity, but a cult). Their 'priest' hide Bible truths 4rm dem, &instead teach dem false doctrines &confuse dem by muddlin up &misinterpretin Bible doctrines. Their followers luv it too, cos it's a church of convenience. Wen catholics giv d excuses d 'priests' & 'fathers' confuse dem wit as justificatns 4dere questionable doctrines (confessin to anoda sinful man, idolatory via 'mary' &rosary etc), i shed tears 4dem. They hav very shallow knowledge of d Bible &of God. They're not in God's willWill I trust an eternal institution whose history dates back to Jesus Christ himself, or a backwater assembly whose history is no more than 40-50 years old and whose growth is fuelled by ignorance an poverty? Who to trust.....Who to trust....... |
omicron: Oh! That feeling one gets after a true Confession! Oh...so invigorating, so inspiring!Thank you. If your Pastor refuses to listen to your confession, I personally think he/she is lazy and a fraud, since he is empowered by God to do so. And before you denounce confession, go kneel before a catholic Priest, tell all and follow the instructions of penance. Only then should you come back and share your opinion. |
DLER: Sequel T̶̲̥̅Ơ̴͡ ur request, there are nice mini flat at Bode Thomas,Ogunsanya and Ogunlana drive.N300,000 p.a Fø̲̣̣я̅ 2yrs,10% each Fø̲̣̣я̅ legal fee and professional feeIf I can get something in the areas you specified, but for a year. Thank you. |
Them comparison are silly. As per resources, Mimiko's state is not experiencing a fraction of what Fashola has to cope with everyday in terms of managing an ever-increasing URBAN population. That is not to rule out his efforts though. In more specific terms, I think Mimiko stands tall amongst all governors with the tremendous success of his "Abiye" project. |
Are we not forgetting that this whole issue started because the lady in question DROVE AGAINST TRAFFIC? Even in a jungle like Lagos, doing such is beastlike. |
How much's it going for? |
Stomach GEJ's shit till 2015 and then get rid of him. Simples. What a fraud!!! |
When on independence day last year, the FCT minister renamed Maitama district (one of the upscale areas in Nigeria and home to many of Nigeria's elite) in Abuja after the president (Goodluck Jonathan district), he technically committed no crime since...well...he owned the district and were (deservedly?) honoring the president. Do you know the reaction of Maitama residents? They bucked and resisted. No way that was going be allowed. Why? Cos Maitama has become synonymous with good living and affluence. Irrespective of the president's intentions, the reaction of UNILAG stakeholders (students, alumni, staff and governors) is understandable. UNILAG has gotten some people jobs, contracts, respect and even ensured upward social mobility in some cases. All who gain from the brand will resist. As to the president's intentions, it is suspect. Does Jonathan really give a Bleep about MKO? No. Does his party? No. Did any of his predecessors? No. Is June 12 accorded national honor? No. Any electoral gain since the last election? No. In otherwords, GEJ could give a damn if Abiola was alive or dead. Then, why the assault on UNILAG? As a lecturer, was he oppressed by superior brains in LAG? Did he seek employment at said institution but was refused? Does he just hate the guts of Lagosians (made up of all Nigerian ethnicities) who don't see any good in him and always reject his policies (subsidy protests)? The name change makes no sense. Period! |
Damn straight. Its high time. I'm not Igbo but I will definitely lend my weight to an Igbo presidency. That's me anyways. Question is "Is it feasible come 2015?". Despite all the contending forces...GEJ/North...I say yes. But it will require unity. All Igbos must unite. And that will mean PISSING AWAY ALL SUPPORT FOR GOODLUCK. Select the best and drum support for him. Sell him in the electronic and print media. Let every Igbo tell his non-Igbo friend. Design a nationwide grassroot campaign strategy. Igbo is everywhere. Even if the ticket isn't clinched, the idea of an Igbo president would have been pushed into the consciousness of everybody in preparation for 2019. |
I deduce from the episode that the poster is insecure. See how she cleverly manipulated the situation to cover up her shortcoming and put the blame on her accuser thus making people to argue a needless issue. Hell, Bleep your religion. People would play politics with everything about you-your gender, your height, your ethnicity, your skin colour, your "funny" accent, the way you walk, talk, dress- hell peeps would mess with your P any day, any time. Its pure IGNORANCE. So whoever made such statement is totally ignorant of the message of Christ. For Christ specifically taught that people from outside our social, ethnic, religious etc groupings can be better friends to us than those with which we share such affiliations (cue the good samaritan). As a GOOD xtian, u could have pointed this fact out to the ignorant fellow. Except of course, you are ignorant of same. So, its not about politics of religion. its one ignorant insecure person oppressing a much more ignorant insecure person. I bet you the fact that this person took you to the cleaners and made you feel like scum on an issue you should have a sound knowledge of hurts the most.(As a lawyer, I would feel like shit if another lawyer oppresses me because of my own ignorance.) Religion is what you believe in which is not necessarily always the truth. Since peeps are different, religion differs and therefore divides. The message of Christ however is truth and is meant to give sight to the blind, health to the sick, salvation to the damned as well as KNOWLEDGE to the IGNORANT. Beware of MIDDLE-GROUND LIBERALISM. It is the highest form of ignorance. Stand for something or fall for anything. Stand for something BUT be knowledgeable about what you stand for. |
MrCrackles u crazy! lol! ![]() |
The festac town block of flats present the best answer to your question. Do the math. One close is made up of six blocks. 3 blocks of 8 flats, 3 blocks of 16 flats, totalling 72 flats. An conservative average of 5 persons per flat. 360 heads in a hood. Most flats possess the very reliable pump action rifle. Bleep the police, Bleep opiaka, no force of robbers can overcome such an area. If the entire lagos is besieged by crooks, they'll never come near the f-town projects. sleep on it. |
:oShine ur eye well my guy, u cant control safety. Big boys rob anywhere even opposite police stations and military barracks. Actually, no where is too safe in lagos. Any bloody hood can be hit by the big boys at any bloody time. If I were u, I'd concern myself more on managing traffic jamz. The traffic snarls in the metropolis these days are sick. Hence I'd settle for an area that provides me more options in beating traffic and gives me connectivity to so many other areas. A suggestion would Akoka. I schooled there so I know wats up. or any other place on mainland Lagos. Stay away from Isolo-Ejigbo-Ikotun. No be only armed robber dey make Lagos tire person. Get yourself stuck in an area with bleeped up traffic and u r finished. Peace. |
Thanks y'all. @simon seez i did call the nos. and was told that i would be rescheduled but was further advised by an insider to go to hq and clarify the issue with them. @deep touch u def. right sir. however i go become bigman someday, no lonng thing. @edusegzy respect ur views sir but u how v.i is. the heat and traffic alone are bad. having ur intentions fd-up by people like them can be so so frustrating. not to forget the time and money spent from ur place. however ur point is noted. nagode. |
Sup y'all. i intend to lay bare on this forum a disturbing occurence in recent times that relates to job seekers. the question is "why do gatemen or security personnel of companies prevent job seekers from entering office complexes to make enquiries. I'm asking this question based on a couple of experinces that i had. 1. I recieved an invitation from zenith bank to write a test 25 mins before the test was to be written. i, therfore missed the test. i decided to go to hq. to see if I could be re-scheduled. To my shock pips, the security men didnt let me in. Instead, they gave me their personal suggestions. I needed to clarify an issue with human res. and there I was debating with gatemen. All my entreaties to let me in fell on deaf ears. they advised me to go and do as they told me. SHOCKING. 2. I took my sis to oceanic hq. with respect to her i.t programme and met a raving lunatic at the gate who refused to allow even people with bigger interests into the complex. On appraoching him, he wasnt too sure if oceanic was recruiting i.t and wouldn't even let me go in to make enquiries. I wash the nigga seriously before i go sha. Do all companies have this as a policy? Is there a reason why companies do this? Its bad if you ask me. Be cool y'all. |
the music preference of modern day nigerians is complicated and this is as a result of a variety of influences. the truth is nigerians love good music even though most of them do not realise this fact. and good music for nigerians is hot, banging music. since good music cuts acrosss genre, then in a sense, there cant really be a most loved genre of music in nigeria. for example, a person hears nice's gongo aso and feels it, hears asa's jailer and bops to it, hears one of fatai rolling dollar's latest efforts and feels it and relates with almost equal love to saucekid's yebariba or modenine's mixtape material not forgetting his love for wasiu, ayefele or osadebe and most likely will still have his r.kelly and coldplay cds. now you get it. such a person loves urban, soul, highlife, hip-hop, fuji/juju, r and b and rock. this is actually true in nearly all countries. thus the secret is this: most people love to listen to GOOD music in a variety of situations. good music equals hot, banging music irrespective of genre. if your music cant be described as the above then no one will listen to it , just ask eddy remedy. thus, despite a person,s claim to be a rap head, he/she will bop ty-bello's greenland any day over a wack [not good, not hot] rap song any day.you's not sure of what constitutes a hot song; then let me be of some help with suggestions. 1. gongo-aso; nice. rating-blazing hot 2. fire on the mountain; asa. rating-blazing hot 3. fellow nigerians; mode-nine. rating-blazing hot 4. yahoozee; olu maintain. rating-blazing hot 5. picture me rolling; amaru shakur. rating-blazing hot 6. mobolowon; ski banj. rating-blazing hot 7. heaven i need a hug; r.kelly. rating-blazing hot 8. rock boys; j-hova. rating-blazing hot 9. i'm like a bird; nelly furtado. rating-blazing hot 10. triumph; wutang clan. rating-blazing hot i'd like to conclude that despite all that has been elucidated by yours truly, rap still remains a popular genre of music in the motherland. be cool y'all |
omo jasi.be cautious about any money for recruitment arrangement. if they are collecting 30k to train and develop your skills for employment, no long thing. however dont let this type of arrangement decieve you that you will definitely be employed at the end of the day for then, there will only be one jackiee which will be you. thus i say remain steadfast in your job search and Oluwa will give us ours. ma pe lepe. no dulling. appia. ![]() |
i recieved a mail from them on monday and it was to wish me well in my future endeavours. so i believe everybody will be contacted, successful or not. be cool y'all. |
