I wanted to ask, if you get refused for tourist visa but were informed of the right to appeal,
>>> An administrative appeal to the Commission de Recours Contre les Décisions de Refus de visa (appeals board for visa refusal rulings) within two months (CRRV – BP 83609 – 44036 NANTES CEDEX 1). This prior recourse, which must be justified, written in French and signed.
How long does this appeal take and is it always successful. Refusal reason sounded due to hotel reason. It takes like forever because it depends. My advice is to wait for six months and then reapply |

Nairaland General › The 2019 Policy Of A Sincere Leader To Be Voted For By Nigerians by ogatboy(op): 5:42pm On Feb 14, 2018 |
I have decided to write on this topic considering the fact that Nigerians keep fighting for selfish politicians who do not care about them. Having visited few countries outside Nigeria and observed the way things are done, I have come to the understanding that the Politicians know what to do to make the country better but has refused to do it for their selfish gain and interest.
A sincere leader who really wants a better Nigeria could address the major issues with good policies. If I were to contest for an election probably in the House of representative or senate these bills will be pushed forward;
1. On corruption: while corruption has eaten deep into the Nigerian system a basic policy reform is needed to bring it to a decline rather than chasing after stolen money. Nigeria is not the first corrupt nation and even countries tagged as world powers have corruption but it is on a minimal level. First, all anti-corruption agencies should be scrapped with the creation of a new agency operated independently with the chairman chosen by a more democratic means rather than presidential appointment then a bill on cashless policy which basically will allow every transaction go through the bank or by card. Payment of cash can only be done to your personal account and a bank transfer will be needed to send money to another account. This means everyone has a bank account and cash movement can be tracked hence money laundering and other financial related crime can be easily investigated.
2. On election credibility and crime reduction: I decided to group both together because a single legislation can solve this problem. While we keep blaming foreigners for harm and complaining of illegal migrants from Chad and Niger, the solution seems to be simple. A sincere government only needs to create a well documented identity card for every citizen which should double as voters card. If BVN can be implemented, insisting on such card as a proper means of identification for anything within the country would ensure all citizens get it. Once you attain the age of 18, you should possess this card. However at birth, proper registration should be done for a child within the first week with a digital copy saved. Although the effect of this policy might not be seen immediately, however, in the long run, we would have a good database of citizens and hence planning of social welfare program, insurance program and pension program can be easily deployed, implemented and tracked.
3. On security: without stressing on this because it has already been proposed by the vice-president, state and community policing is welcomed as it is easier to track criminals around you than people just posted to your area without prior knowledge. However, proper legislation needs to be drafted to ensure qualified people are recruited and hence this brings me to the final policy which bothers on the economy.
4. On economy: this area might require lots of legislation. Although, news have it that the economy is improving, the common man tends not to have a feel of the improvement. The quicker solution is to decentralize the system. While every state and region harness their resource and generate internal revenue for managing their area, a tax system paid by these states and region to the federal government should be implemented. Taxation of states should however be based on the resources the state has and its internally generated revenue. The government can thus use those tax to carry out the federal projects and support states with very poor internally generated revenue. Note however that the decentralization of the system means each state can thus try to provide solution to its electricity and water problems so as to gain more revenue for the state. It would also force state and regional leaders to do their best to attract foreign investor.
With all this points raised, although it might not be a 4 years project but a party or politician that think towards this direction may be thinking towards the direction of better Nigeria. We are to old as a country for politicians to be campaigning with building of infrastructure or feeding the hungry. Now is the time to ask for policies that would build those infrastructures.
I would like to end by saying, while this things are simple, it may never be looked at because of greed and selfish interest. The only way to change the system is to develop policies that forces people to change else we are on course for doomday.
Better Nigeria, God bless Nigeria. |

You guys should f**king shut up. Tithe was before Moses and tithe is mentioned in the new testament so stop spilling shit. If you want to pay tithe please do, if not please don't. Christianity and salvation are personal. We will all be judged separately.
Talking about poor members paying tithe, the widow in the bible offered her last mite among others that has wealth. The seraphite cooked her last meal for a prophet. Do what you believe. All of you quoting Deuteronomy as if it is the basis or beginning or ending of tithe. |
Celebrities › Re: Daddy Freeze Replies Zack Orji - Pity Will Not Solve Tithing, Give Us Quotations by ogatboy(m): 3:38am On Dec 22, 2017 |
Okay I support tithing. Yes, maybe churches are not doing enough in Nigeria but tithing I support. Even in Germany its a law to pay a percentage to the church (yes a law). I asked my Syrian friend about this, because Christianity has history there. YES, they collect tithe although he also has the issue of how tithe is spent. If you think is a Nigerian thing then research. As far as I'm concerned, Freeze is looking for attention. It is his time so he should enjoy. Very soon, nobody will even talk about him and tithing will not stop |

Dencotext: Hello guys, do you remember God's favorite pikin? That's me...
I am in Sicily now doing Master and living in a lodge meant for ERAMUS and visiting professors. I'm the only black African, apart from some north African Arabs, that could afford to stay this lodgel. The remaining few blacks are in the school hostel which costs 100euro per month. Even at that, it's not easy as things are expensive here.
My story will be brief...I am born again and have been through the worst life can offer, and was patient. One day I told God that i have had enough. I spent 2days to fathom out that financial wellbeing is important to achieve your dream and make life bearable. So from 2009 or 2010 till date I began to pay my tithe faithfully without defaulting, the rest is history.
At that point, I was a university dropout, been home for years, lost mum and dad, not getting along well with some of my siblings because of my faith which they didn't gbedu.
I made two observations...a dreamer should not expect help from others, let go of things that you cannot afford, be patient and work hard, and make plans based on things you earned. By 2010 I was back to school and slowed down complete my degree. Mysteries after mysteries unfolded as I tithe...life became more bearable, God blessed everything I do physically, mentally and spiritually. The way of a tither is not clear...it seemed strange the way I was getting provided for, which can't be by chance or luck, but something more like miracle. I will not go into details, I feel humble, I cry a lot how God loves me...I watch my income grow from 8000 naira a month till it get to 40000 naira, then I got a job for 60,000 naira. When I was leaving the job at above 93000 naira, a dollar job came. Now I maybe earning over 200,000 naira monthly.
I became worried for many reasons...the core of the matter started around 2009. I had a troubling dream...Dunamis founder Pastor Paul Enenche rebuke me sternly, insisting I was not supposed to be in Nigeria but in a foreign land, questioning why I was still in Nigeria. So when I woke, I sorted for the interpretation but nobody could satisfy me. I then asked God for the place, and the answer was so strange..SICILY. Why not USA, Canada or Australia ! Well I checked an online map where Sicily was. Then I forgot about the issue for the next 8 years.
In February, 2017 I felt I was almost financially capable to sponsor myself abroad, but I could not forget my convenant. Instead of saving money, series of events happened in my life that made me give out all my salaries to God for charity in February and also March. I emptied my account. God has blessed me, I have a job, no shaking, but I needed heaven to open doors for me. Two week after I recovered from the month of fasting, God began to bless me... He told me to ask for salary increment from my employers. When I reluctantly did, I received the most encouraging words of my life. I was raised and not only that, I was promoted to a leader.
By May, I made feeble attempt to apply for Master but got admission offer to three different universities, Messina came last..and I did not even know that the town was in Sicily till I started the visa procedure!
My reasoning before I left Nigeria is that I will not beg, or feel inferior to the oyibos, or ask anyone to help me. It's not possible to understand how God blesses a tither, sometimes I do not understand what is happening around me, to the outsider it may seem either you are wealthy or have secret means. Some Arab guys from Iran, Tunisia, Morroco and so on, knocked on my door today! They really wanted to know my secret..how much money I was earning and spending as I seemed to be the most unusual black giy they have seen. Though they complain about money at times, I seemed not to be bothered.
I am not trying to recommend my ways to you. I am not trying to convince you to be a tithe regards, as there are things I cannot explain here, but I only want to tell you facts about my life. Of truth is...if you are a failure in Nigeria, do not expect something better abroad. You must convince yourself that you are able to succeed both in your country and outside your country.
It's not arrogance, it's not pride, it's not even because I have money, I make sure no Italian despise me. When on a few occassion an Italian stranger paid my bills, I was worried...why me of all people? is it because I am good looking? Or were they surprised to see a black were they least expected? But when I learnt of the Naija immigrants begging in the streets, I said to myself...maybe they were merely pitying me...look like the people that need help, so the idea of being helped by them now sulks! I rather prefer to help some of their own Italian beggers than to be helped. One Naija immigrant almost slapped me for that, making sure I did not help one of them. But I reminded him that we are all the same.. everybody needst help. The person rendering help also have been helped!
We will make it and we will make it well in Jesus name! You should be a friction writer |
